The latest on Vince Mcmahon possibly bringing back the ECW brand name is that it'll be happening after Wrestlemania XX.

The plan right now is to have Paul Heyman be fired as GM of Smackdown and bring back ECW to compete with WWE. The brand's roster will most likely be made up of former ECW talent, along with some developmental wrestlers.

The brand would be promoted as a separate entity instead of being a part of WWE.

Shane Mcmahon may also be involved in the creation of the brand, using his power and money to help Heyman bring back ECW.

The brand's budget would be extremely low and would probably
run four Pay-Per-Views per year.

The brand would get a one-hour television slot, most likely on Saturday nights in the time slot of either Velocity or Confidential.

hey im back i just had a problem with my account

i guess the fired list discussion is over pretty good list

i was playing season in the royal rumble on herecomes the pain and it was me (shawn michaels) the hurricane and dvon we were the last in the ring

i was on the turnbuckle when hurricane went over the top rope and held on but i accidently jumed and i eliminated hurricane but i eliminated myself in the process

DVON IS GOING TO FIGHT KEVIN NASh AT THE MAIN EVENT OF WRESTLEMANIA LOL

i saw some of that mick foley dvd and i agree about the commentating it sucked im glad i wasnt into wrestling at the time but i liked the sting vs cactus match with coach and mick commentating (not that they were good)

Don't you think that a separate ECW brand only getting an hour, as well as a time slot when not too many people tune in is a good thing? I don't...thats a sucks deal if you ask me..How can you have a separate brand with titles, and such in only an hour? is that where Tommy Dreamer will end up? This sucks...i'm all for a ECW brand, but give it a decent hour and length!

I own the royal rumble on smackdown hctp. I enter 1st and won about 3 times. My secert is to knock teh the guy out carry him as close to the ropes then irish whip the guy will be on the outside of the ropes then joo just kick them simple as that.

outlaw that good enough for me. Would it be funny if austin came out to lesnars music and moves. no?

I am pretty good at HCTP. It's easy for me, but really really fun. I love that game.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-03-08 23:24:48

A good taker promo to start the night. The ring moving thats weird. I hated the booker t and rvd cojioned entrance keep it seperate. It was funny when christian attacked jericho it should be a no dq match so they can beat each other up. The hurricane and the s.h.i.t. match was short piontless. Beniot and hbk should gain up on hhh then in the edn hhh will captialize. mick foleys this is your life had to be ruined by evolution. Jimmy snuka should of stay and did his superfly off the top rope.

I was listen to the radio and their traffic report start out with foleys entrance music perhaps because of teh car crash at the start.

Raw was decent last night, but nothing that special, more like a 2 hour commercial for WM.

Which WM match are you looking forward to the most? I really want to see the Y2J/CLB match. Eddie/Angel is a close second.

cause I'm a bad speller!

Why is it that WWE seems to be splitting Victoria and Stevie? They are a great pair, and all of a sudden they go to the ring alone...What gives? I thought they were giving him a face push to boot, why in the hell did he play the heel last night? sure he got the pinfall which is probably one of his biggest wins, pinning the first ever undisputed champ, but the overall misuse of him is starting to piss me off...if ECW should return I'm willing to bet WWE will ship him there.

What I really want to know is this. If they really are serious about the spearate ECW brand, how will they fit story-lines and titles into an hour show? I know I already complained about this but hear me out...The show itself is not really an hour if you add in commercials, and if it's replacing velocity and confidential, they will probably film it all in one night and show it both days, getting their two hours..That is not adquate time to build up stprys and fueds, so how do they expect to make PPV's? I know they will have less PPVs than the other brands..Does this really seem fair to the underused talent? I can see the pro's of them getting air and PPV time, but its so very lacking compared to the other brands.

damn what a rant!

I thought the whole THIS IS YOUR LIFE thing last night was pretty funny. I thaught the whole PIE thing was hilarious. It was cool to see Snuka, but it would of been awesome to see him come down to the ring and help out Mick and The Rock when EVOLUTION was attacking. It would've been sweet to see the Superfly leap again.

A new WWE logo will be unveiled at Wrestlemania XX, which will
signify the end of the "attitude" era and the beginning of a new direction for the company.

The plan for Wrestlemania XX is to have Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka
in the corner of the Rock 'N' Sock Connection.

Huh, funny. I thaught the Attitude era ended a few years ago. I like the logo, the W over W and then the f part, which is gone, but still I like the current logo.

The plan for Wrestlemania XX is to have Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka

AWESOME!! that'll be sweet.

Did any catch WM 10 best matchs. It was mostly stone cold shawn micheals or bert hart in them. The match I wanted see was the triangle ladder match. Jeff Hardys 450 spin was teh sh!t. I like it on smackdown hctp.
Superfly in the rock n socks corner that would be cool.

My 1337 post it feels elite.

Sweet, the TLC match was the 2nd best match ever. That match seriously kicked ass. And it happened right at my local arena. But... I wasn't that big of a wrestling fan back then. I was just casual. but damn!... I could've been there... oh well.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-03-10 03:55:15

That was truly one of the funniest Raws in a while. It's great to see The Rock back again. I seriously laughed my ass off at during the whole scene with Rock, Coach, Hurricane, and Rosie the S.H.I.T.

Also I truly enjoyed the top ten greatest matches. I really thought Hogan v. Rock would be #1 but I feel that they made a very nice choice with the Ironman Match (Hart v. HBK)

and as for this whole ECW faction Idea I kinda like it but one big problem would be alot of ECW's greatest are in other federations (i.e. Sandman, Raven, New Jack, and of course the one and only Sabu)

I think it would just be better if they bring back the Hardcore Title

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-03-10 07:49:10

I also thought the attitude era ended a while ago...guess Vince is living in the past.

speaking of living in the past, Vince is once again contemplating bringing back WCW to fued with WWE.

"Vince has contemplated a WCW return on various instances, but sources say that whenever he starts thinking about possible storyline ideas, he decides it is not rational to bring back a "failed brand name."
From Wrestlezone.

BREAKING NEWS!!!! Lesnar is leaving after WM- here it is from Wrestlezone.com

"We have been told that yesterday at the SmackDown! tapings, Lesnar stood up in front of the entire room at the pre-show meeting and announced he was leaving WWE to persue a career in the National Football League.

Lesnar'c current WWE deal is for seven years. He met with Vince McMahon last Tuesday at the SmackDown! tapings and discussed his concern for his upcoming storyline with The Undertaker where was was supposed to put the character over. Lesnar didn't understand that if he was to be a main event player for the next several years, why was he going to be 'fed' to 'Taker.

He was also upset about going on the recent tour of South Africa where he had to wrestle Hardcore Holly. He felt that he should have been put in a much higher profile match.

From what our sources have told us, Lesnar informed everyone at the meeting that he was miserable in the business. He said that it was not any reflection on the business per se, but he just couldn't find happiness in the industry any more.

Lesnar went on to publicly thank Vince McMahon, Jim Ross and Gerry Brisco "for finding me in college," and thanked Big Show and Paul Heyman for all their help with his career. He told the crew he wouldn't be back and he was said to be very emotional and wished everyone well."

Damn......

thats good news for most people here. I think if the undertaker stays he will over shadow lesnars heel ratings. I wonder what team he will play for and if they will mention he was a wrestler. goldberg and a-trian were ex-football players but I never heard of a ex-wrestler playing football. XFL doesnt count right.

yeh I know, that sucks that Lesnar is leaving. It would be kinda cool to see him in the NFL.

And I have good news for me. Judgment Day will be coming to L.A.!!! Sweet. There hasn't been a Pay per view in this area since September 2002.

Also... my friend and I were talking and we were talking about Kane. It's like they fired the old one and hired soem new guy to be kane. Like, he looks different, The old Kane was more Athletic and stuff and this one is well not. But It's just silly talk. KAne is now doing the lumbering giant thing. But it still kinda seems like a new guy. Whatever.

Remember how lame this was? It was just a wig and some make-up smeared on him...

andre_teh_giant you are # 68! I would normally say pick a wrestler to represent and put him/her in you BBS Signature, but I think that already happened. Welcome to the club.

Kane is kinda different in his style now isn't he...strange, he takes off the mask and loses speed..
