Cena is sidelined, so I say that Y2J will return as a face to be fed to RKO.

Damn, straight. He has had some of the best matches and promos ever. When he came over to the WWF from WCW with that damn top ponytail and made you love to hate him but, with skills to back up his mouth. You knew he was a big time player.

No, it's in my town.
Small place, just a little community centre.
No-one famous, but Jake ''The Snake'' Roberts has been there. Our trainer, 'Psycho' Steve, knows him from a while back, and Steve went to a WWF PPV, and Jake eventually decided to go along and meet the guys. Never got to see him though... :(

WHAT? I'VE BEEN WANTING MORE MATCHES LIKE THAT! I've always wondered why WWE Creative never let their largest guys duke it out against each other, rather than having all of the smaller wrestlers job to them all the time or barely pull a win out of their ass over them. I only wish they hadn't made it a Battle Royal.

At the SD taping Matt Hardy suffered a 7 inch gash that required 35 stitches in a tag match where he teamed with MVP against Finlay and Rey Mysterio at the Friday Night Smackdown taping in Kansas City. According to reports, Mysterio's knee brace caught Hardy in the head and he was described as bleeding everywhere - so much so that they had to change the mat because it was covered with so much blood. His status for Cyber Sunday this weekend against MVP is said to be uncertain where fans can vote the two to compete in a wrestling match, boxing match or MMA match.

I don't consider this a spoiler since it is an injury report with a bit of match detail in it. Damn that sucks though. I hope he is ok.

My bet on Jericho's return: my moneys on him being a tweener who DOMINATES the top spot, feuding with Triple H and Randy Orton, until Cena comes back. Then one of them (most likely Jericho) will have himslef a heel turn, along with a successful feud over the strap with Cena for a few months.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-10-25 07:25:48

Cena would probably go right back to fueding with Orton since thats where he left off. Jericho could go against Cena too since that also would make sense story wise.

Shit, that sounds really bad. I should probably tape SD! so I can see exctly how it went down. Do you think this will effect his feud with MVP at all?

They could have MVP insulting Matt's ability to wrestle.

It will probably effect how they do the match at Cyber Sunday. Just shows Matt's toughness to keep going. And he could rub that in teh face of MVP, who will then target the wound during whatever kind of match they have. Or he could show that he really is starting to like Hardy and not go for it at all.

Before I comment on last night's TNA, AM I THE ONLY ONE KEEPING UP WITH IT ANYMORE??? Seriously, I want to know about this supposed 'hostile takeover' thing I keep hearing about; I don't have a cellphone, so I can't text the little info message to get the scoop on it, so one of you's going to have to fill me in.

Now, on to business......Kurt Angle's an asshole, but we all know that already..... :P Kevin Nash inadverdently 'helps' Angle, and what does he get in return? The middle finger. Fuck, with friends like that, yadda-yadda-yadda. The part that has me interested, though, is who'll be Sting's tag team partner - is this where Lesnar walks in? Hmmmmmm. No one else seems too likely to fill in the spot among the current roster, and consdering that it involves Angle - the man getting Lesnar into TNA in the first place - I wouldn't be surprised. Or did Lesnar ever agree to it yet?

One thing about TNA's 'Knockout' division that differs GREATLY from WWE's Women's Division is that not ALL of the women are hotties, although the blonde last night had my attention, as does the current title holder. ^_^ This was made evident the last several nights by an extremely large woman.......I can see a relationship between her & Big Daddy V eeeeeeeeasilllllllly.

j/k. :P

Aaaaahhhhhh, the carnage that ensues when a couple of former ECW superstars go & do what the've done so well - smash other wrestlers through tables. Please, Steiners, do us a favor & put them through some tables.

Riki.......er, Junior, hasn't changed the slightest - he's still everyone's favorite stinky fatass Samoan. :P DUUUUUUUUUUUCK! Or wear a face mask.

I still lol at Angle kicking down a bathroom stall only to find him taking an epic shit worthy of a gas mask & 20 gallons of air freshener.

Poor Abyss..... Black Reign is what Boogeyman wants to be, but can't because of WWE Creative. Screw worms - the rat's scarier.

Btw, Black Reign's really former Road Warrior Animal, right?

Ok, I'm done, so let's see how SD goes tonight. And PLEEZ remember to NOT VOTE FOR JBL!!!! Or you fail as a fan. I hate hearing him talk. >_<

I haven't watched TNA is months. Mostly due to the fact that I work on the days it's on.

Now, on to business......Kurt Angle's an asshole, but we all know that already..... The part that has me interested, though, is who'll be Sting's tag team partner -

Kurt may be injured. I haven't found confirmation about it yet, but I thinik his neck is giving him problems again.

As for the mystery Tag partner.. Booker T maybe? I have no idea if he has a no compete clause on him or not but he seems a likely choice too.

And just to bring back an old conversation.. The worst supernatural gimmick has to go to the Black Scorpion bit that WCW did. Anyone remember that?

I hear Hardy will be cleared to wrestle at Cyber Sunday. He'll probably tear his stitches though and after that I hope he takes the week off to get that healed properly. Yeah, a gash requiring stitches isn't exactly a terribly threatning injury, but that dosen't mean Matt shouldn't take the time to heal that up properly.

Whatever match Hardy and MVP have, it will be interesting to see how they do. I agree with Aview in that Hardy should give himself some time to heal after the PPV.

Reading about this match, I'm not sure I understand what the concept is, so I'm going to go with Melina since she's the hottest.

2. Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay (Fans choose between Stretcher Match, Shillalagh on a Pole Match or No DQ Match)

Can't see the fas voting Shillelagh on a Pole, seeing as that most obviously accommodates Finlay. I see it being a Stretcher Match because it's No DQ with an extra added dimension.
Rey wins? After all, he is the "biggest underdog in WWE history". And that's how he'll be remembered, as being too shit to win with actual ability.

3. MVP vs. Matt Hardy (Fans choose between Wrestling Match, Boxing Match or Mixed Martial Arts Match)

The fans want a wrestling match, that much is obvious. I think that could be a shame, if they were trying to hold off for as long as possible, that this is just a sort of half-chance match thrown together for whatever reason.

4. Triple H vs. Umaga (Fans choose between Street Fight, First Blood Match or Steel Cage Match)

Triple H wins, steel cage match.

5. ECW Champion CM Punk vs. either Big Daddy V, John Morrison or The Miz (Fans choose opponent)

Punk vs. The Miz. Punk wins.

6. World Heavyweight Champion Batista vs. The Undertaker (Fans choose Special Referee out of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mick Foley or JBL)

I'm not sure how the fans will vote on this match. Either they'll go predictable mark and vote Austin in, where I see it being a no contest due to Austin stunning everyone and drinking beer.
The other thing I could see is the fans voting JBL in, in order to punish him against two monster faces. Again, no contest, this time because of the referee being destroyed.

7. WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. either Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy or Mr. Kennedy (Fans choose opponent)

HBK in, Orton wins I guess.

--------------

And so ends my predictions for Cyber Sunday. Thoughts anyone?

I think I'm mostly agreed with you. This PPV is quite unpredictable though, and then there's the possibility of Y2J returning.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-10-27 13:44:10

Sorry for the double post, but I found it. Here's the most recent Jericho "save us" video.

Ripped from rajah:
Chris Jericho was a guest on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch Tuesday night. Jericho told stories of wrestling in Japan and Mexico. He mentioned getting in trouble with the Yakuza (the Japanese mafia) for breaking a vase and almost getting his finger cut off because of it. Jericho also told a story of getting robbed at gunpoint in Mexico. Donny said that "Vince McMahon has a wonderful organization." Chris said that his biggest goal was to get into "Vince McMahon's WWE."
