This is incredible....

New Jack has opened a wrestling training school in Richmond, Virginia -- 800 Jefferson Davis Highway. "We are in a 5000 square foot facility," New Jack said. "If you want to get into the business you got to be trained by someone who knows old school, new school, and everything in between, and that's me!"

That's right! That great mat technician New Jack is opening up a wrestling school. Now you can learn to fall from high places like a pro... Don't forget to bring your own chesse grater kids.

and how to bleed too!!
Damn, no Raw tonight? TNA it is then. What time does it air?

Vito's dress wearing character has been dropped. His match with Mr. Kennedy on SmackDown two weeks ago was the blow off for the character. He's currently down in Deep South Wrestling awaiting a new repackaging. He's the DSW champion and he doesn't wear a dress anymore to the ring. He now wears martial arts-style trunks and goes shoeless to the ring.

best news I've heard all day.

Forgot the bleeding part...TNA airs at 9;00PM Eastern Time. Same time that RAW usually airs

I just hope VIto doesn't come back, period. I don;t like the guy, he's not that good in the ring or on the mic, and the whole dress gimmick was just a waste of time.

Here is the real reason why WWE canceled the No Way Out Four Way Tag Team Ladder Match.

Source: PWInsider.com

The reason that WWE pulled the tag team ladder match from No Way Out is because Vince McMahon decided over the weekend that the Hardy Boyz and MNM will no longer be teaming and all four wrestlers will go back to singles. Stephanie McMahon then made the decision to scrap the ladder match and have Deuce & Domino challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles against Paul London & Brian Kendrick. It should be noted that WWE has gone back and forth on whether to keep the Hardyz and MNM together for awhile now.

Kurt Angle strikes again!

Kurt went over his previous addictions, claiming up to 65 Vicodins per day, including 18 just to get out of bed which impressed Ferrall to no end. Kurt went through the story of Vince forcing him to rehab on the road.

Kurt told the heartwarming story of his fight with Eddie Guererro. Eddie shot on him, trying a leg dive on Kurt. Kurt avoided it and put him in a rear naked choke. Another (nameless) wrestler asked Eddie why he would try a single leg on an Olympic champion. Eddie replied "because I'm f**king stupid".

Kurt actually promoted TNA. He predicted his match this Sunday with Christian will be match of the year. He said that Samoa Joe is a tremendous athlete, can do a 4.5 40 yd dash and has a 44" verticle leap. He said his deal with TNA is financially better than at WWE and at WWE he had a one million dollar guarantee and usually made 2.5 to 3 million.

Talking about his WWE days, he has seen Trish Stratus naked, but wouldn't give the details. In response to question from Eric the Midget, he reiterated his claim that HHH is a slimeball, saying he is a slimeball because HHH would never put Kurt over knowing Kurt could surpass him.

He is negotiating for a big deal with EXC. He claimed that although UFC, through Dana, didn't want him after he told them he would continue to wrestle, they now want him again after hearing he is negotiating with EXC. He is now negotiating with both. Spike wants him to go UFC.

Of course, he can beat anybody in MMA since he has "superior quickness". He wants to fight three times before he is 40. He is probably too big to fight at 205, so a special weight class will have to be made for him.

I think removing the ladder bout was a bad idea for the reasons pointed out of having seen the D & D vs. Londrick match twice already, they need to add a gimmick to this I think.

Fuck Test, here's a guy that had a real oppurtunity to get better and make something of himself, and he fucked it up. No sympathy from me.

I'll give Kurt this much...he sure knows how to keep his name out there.

New Jack opens a wrestling school? Does New Jack even know what the fuck the term "work" means and how to do it? I can just see the first class now "alright mother fuckers, first thing to know is I am a bad mother fucker and I will slice you! Slice and dice them mother fuckers up!!" I'm curious to see if anyone bites on this offer.

Favorite theme song... None jump out at me right now but I do like Jeff's theme song, and Gregory Helms song is also worth a listen.

While cancelling the ladder match is bad in terms of the quality of the ppv going down and a great match won't happen, it does make sense in that both the Hardyz and MNM are no longer a regular tag team. It just makes you wonder why they are competing for tag titles when they are making them all singles competitors.
they could have at least added Regal and Taylor to make it a triple threat tag to keep it interesting.

Without spoiling anything for folks, I'll just say I think it's going to be very interesting to see Vince after Mania...I've also heard WWECW Champion Lashley is heavily rumored to be Trumps guy.

There's also talk WWECW creative wants to bring Paul Heyman back as a leader and mouth piece for the originals, I kind of doubt Paul E. will be interested though. His best bet is to let this piece of shit show just go down in flames and keep his name away from it. Protect his own legacy, but he could be a great addition to the show if he still labors under the delusion his prescence can actually help. More and more I really think this brand could at least be somewhat entertaining if Vince wasn't adament about everything going through him and his "vision" or lackthereof defining the shows. I'm not saying it'd be smash hit greatness, but I think we'd at least be able to say if it failed that it failed based on the efforts of people who honestly tried to make it work and stand on it's own.

The thing I hate the most about TNA are the announcers... they constantly yell and say how great each wrestler is... they need to cool themselves off I think. It gets so annoying.

I'd like to see Kurt Angle face off against Tito Ortiz in UFC...

I bet McMahon loses at wrestlemania...

As for theme songs... I think the Umaga theme song is quite cool... he deserves to be a champion toon... damn that Cena... they make Cena and Michaels look like supermen...... so they'll probably win at No Way Out.

I think they would need some sort of title run for Umaga to get the momentum he lost from the Cena fued back. Though being beaten twice by a guy who never ever loses makes things a little weird.

ecw was pretty good I think, I never watched the original. The extreme expose was good, but it got interrupted what a surprise huh , anyway vince knows people dont like this ecw, so he is harping on the fact that the new one is better, just like he made everyone re live the Donald and Rosey match. I'm wondering are they going to continually own the originals until stone cold or somebody comes back? oh and aerial the girl who comes with the vampire is the best part(that ass! that ass!!) And alpha male's song is the best

I don't think Umaga lost momentum neccessarily from losing to Cena, he had a couple good matches with him, and like you said, Cena is booked as superman right now, so I don't think a heel losing to him kills his heat off (just look at Edge) but Umaga definitely needs some good booking on him right now, like a feud where he can just eat somebody alive to keep that monster aura on him. I think you just kind of let him roar and rampage for a month, then you bring up a babyface to oppose said rampage, and boom, you got a Mania program right there. Umaga has changed my mind about his long term value to the company, but WWE has to realize how to use him, and then do it. He can stay over very well, and he can help get others over as well.

Holy shit! That means boogeyman is 43 years old? goddamn! I thought he was in his 20's or something. hah, oh well. He's still a cool wrestler. He makes smackdown interesting every time he makes an appearance.

DrDickHead, yea the girls on ECW are what makes the new ECW good. All the talking on ECW absolutely sucks. They need a Mick Foley or a Stone Cold (TALKERS) to shape things up a bit.

I've got a feeling that Trump is going to choose someone who hasn't been wrestling as of late.
I predict he chooses Steve Austin and that will make Mcmahon all pissed off, but then mcmahon chooses someone who has been on a tear... someone who very rarely loses.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-02-15 03:59:27

Austin is not working at Wrestlemania, he'll be there, but he isn't wrestling. JR even confirmed this.

Can all you Steve Austin marks please pull his cock out of your mouths and move on? I'm sorry but it has just gotten so annoying with all the "Austin should come back, Rock should come back, waaaah!" They aren't, not gonna happen. Move on please.

What are they gonna do with him after his monster phase though? I'm not sure how long they'll be able to keep the monster thing up: Taker went through the biker phase, Kane has had numerous occasions where they simply forget about his Monster...ness, and they were both extrememly succesful, too. Umaga stands the risk of just getting lost at some point. Keeping the undestructable monster thing up for too long will just make the fans bored, and I think creative might not know what to do with him aftert the monster phase.
Creative aren't exactly the best long-term planners. Or short-term to think about it.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2007-02-15 08:28:09

Thing is WWE can always have a use for a monster character. Just look at how long and fairly sucessful Kane's career has gone playing just that? Before WCW screwed things up, look at how Vader was used and viewed. A good monster heel is supposed to be impossibly tough which makes a victory over them seem that much more important. It doesn't work as well with Cena since he loses maybe once a month..or two months. hard to tell which since it doesn't happen very often.

I'm not saying that Cena should lose a lot, but to me it takes away from fued if the opponent is made to look like he can never win a match.

Kane had that fued with Taker when he first came into the WWE. Just implying that he was related to Undertaker helped to create his monster image, not to mention the fact he was portrayed as being more of a monster than Undertaker ever was.
Umaga hasn't really had a defining fued yet, unless you can really count the numerous legends he's destroyed. I think Umaga really needs that huge face to put him over as a big monster.

To keep a monster alive... have the monster leave and then come back and surprise everyone. They always do that.

I think Snitsky is more an attempt at a monster then a real monster...but that may just be my bias and the fact that I only know of one person who gives a crap about Snitsky, and that's only because he liked working with him (my friend Jason can be such a bias bastard :P).

You guys all raise good points about how to properly book a monster, and how WWE has successfully in the past created them, and also then dropped the ball on them. It is hard to keep a monster character going long term because by definition, monster heels need to beat the fuck out of babyfaces, almost to, or totally, squashing them. That works on babyfaces you don't care about so much, but the higher the monster climbs on the card, the harder it becomes to know what to do with him. But there are ways to book a monster, have him lose, and still keep that heat. I think WWE has done a decent job of that with Umaga, now they just need to make sure the fans see that the loss to Cena didn't destroy him or his aura, but will they? Time will tell.

Unless it's going to lead into a feud with a babyface turned Randy Orton, I don't much see the point in doing it. The whole "beat down the legends" thing has been done enough I think. For a quick "show Umaga as a ruthless bastard" thing it's fine, but I'd rather see it build up to somebody on the current roster fighting Umaga at Mania. I like to see as many guys as possible get those paydays, but at the same token legends guys have become a crutch I think WWE needs to learn to either stop using, or use correctly (meaning they need to be using them to help establish the next generation of workers).
