I actually enjoyed SD this week. Helms continues to have some really good matches, and Regal and Kendrick did a great job as well.

It was also interesting trying to explain to my mom why we are supposed to be booing Eddie's widow. We are both in agreement that it really isn't right and the phrase "How heartless can you be?" was said more than once. Of all the things WWE has done I think this storyline/gimmick/whatever pisses me off the most. If milking Eddie's name for money wasn't bad enough, they further drag the name through the mud with this crap.

things don't look good for Sabu:

PWInsider reports that the feeling backstage is that Sabu is lucky to have a job with WWE right now after several incidents that had WWE management furious. As previously reported, Sabu was initially punished by being squashed by Umaga on TV for showing up late to several shows and actually falling asleep backstage in the pre-production area.

As if he was not in enough heat already, there was yet another incident. After the ECW tapings he was supposed to film some promotional stuff for the December To Dismember PPV, but he blew it off. Apparently he was out of the building long before the end of the show.

Right now, all indications point to Sabu being suspended or even released by WWE some time in the near future unless he can get his act together and turn things around.

I agree that the Helms/Wang Yang match was stellar, But there is something I have to adress.

Upon close inspection, I have decided that Vicky Guerrero is Butt UGLY. Eddie, bro, if you can here me: What Were You thinking?

The Jimmy yang..w/e vs Greg Helms was really good. I enjoyed it. The Kane vs Go Go Power Rangers match was far too short, though.

Team DX vs. Team Rated RKO
I see DX winning, but the feud between the team to continue for a little while longer, ending in a match that will keep people talking and give a push to Edge and Orton.

Batista vs King Booker
I say Batista, it is a good time to ens the feud, but thean again, it is the WWE.

The Undertaker vs Kennedy
I think the Undertaker might take a loss to give Kennedy a push.

Chavo vs Benoit
Benoit, hopefully ending the Eddie milking.

Team Cena vs Team Big Show
Team Big Show will win, I don't see anyone pinning Umaga to eliminatie him.

Lita vs Mickie James
The title won't go vacant again, Lita will lose, and leave the arena as the fans sing "Nananana Goodbye." It is a same that one of the greatest female wrestlers has to go out like that.

Spirit Squad vs Vets
Farooq won't lose his first match back, plus this will be a catalyst to the SS split up.

It really is a shame that Sabu dosen't seem to care about his career as much as his fans do. It boggles my mind how someone who's had as many problems in his life and career recently as Sabu has had is just basically throwing his chance away. I mean, if he hates the grind and asks to leave that's one thing, but tanking your shot? That's just stupid and shortsighted to me.

What the heck, I'll try a bit of predicting, or at least a look at what I think should happen.

Team DX vs. Team Rated RKO
I see DX winning,but I would rather that they actually get eliminated first because no one will see that coming. The star of this match in my mind should be CM Punk, it could be used to push him just that little extra way it'll take to make him a star, and maybe the next ECW champ. I'm not saying job DX clean, make it some kind of a screwy thing like maybe Orton and Edge pull them outside and get them counted out. But I don't really see it happening.

Batista vs King Booker

For the love of all that is holy, the belt must go to...King Booker! Hear me out, hear me out. Booker is much better in his role with the belt, and if Batista loses you have that "quest for a rematch" which can lead into the Rumble. You do the same with RVD, and boom! You've got the story of your Rumble this year. Keep it on Booker WWE.

The Undertaker vs Kennedy

I see Taker getting the victory here, hopefully they go long and make it real competitive so Kennedy looks like he can hang and isn't squashed, but I truly don't see Taker losing in this one.

Chavo vs Benoit

Chavo is probably winning so they can continue into the next round of Eddieploitation (whoever came up with that should let me know so they get a little copyright shout out every time I use it), they have certainly proven they aren't hugely interested in a Benoit title run.

Team Cena vs Team Big Show

Who cares? This is the most "WTF?" pairing of the show. I think Umaga will be counted out or DQ'ed and the babyfaces will win here. I also don't see Show hanging around long, they need to save him for the next show.

Lita vs Mickie James

Lita is doing the job here or WWE may as well just fucking retire the Woman's title.

Spirit Squad vs Vets

Agree that the Vets win and SS splits, hear Kenny and Mikey can really go and should have some good matches.

DX lasted about, 2 years? Not possibly real, but, hopefully the Hardy Boyz and maybe Punk join DX in attempt to rule WWE (Still Face, but by own I mean become "owners" of WWE). Edge and the other dudes are trying to stop them, working under Vince after whocares wins. WWE vs DX, I guess.

The whole Rey/Chavo thing is a bit fucked up, to me. Think about it: They're using some guys untimely death (RIP Eddie), as a ratings boost for EG fanatics to see if the guy (Chavo) who doesn't like people worshipping Eddie gets his ass whooped (Rey and Benoit).

Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Benoit- I've got Benoit winning, simply because I see this feud going for a while longer.

Mickie James vs Lita- I'm taking Mickie James, meaning Lita won't retire on top (insert generic Lita sex joke here).

Mr Kennedy vs Undertaker- Taker's hurting so I'm not expecting a long match, however I expect Taker to do the rare clean job and Kennedy to emerge victorious.

Batista vs King Booker- I really want Booker to win, but if you saw SD you kow that now there's the stipulation that if Batista loses he can't challenge for the WHC anymore... So I've got to take batista in this one.

Spirit Squad vs The old guys... This will be another short match. The veterans win, the SS break up and Johnny and Kenny go on to feud with one another.

Team Cena vs Team Big Show- I expect Sabu to be the first one elminated, and I don't think Show will last long in this match. Cena and Umaga will probably get DQ'ed or counted out. Kane beats MVP, who later screws Kane.. Either Lashley or RVD will be the survivor/s to push the ECW PPV.

Team DX vs Team rated RKO- You know what's going to happen.... CM Punk will eliminate everyone by himself... OK maybe not. Actually I see Punk getting eliminated by Knox... because of Kelly. Anyways Team DX wins.

SS vs. Legends- Legends win hands down. I also think the rest of the squad will just abandon Kenny and watch him get beaten up.

Lita vs. James- Lita is losing. Shame she is leaving too.

Benoit vs. Chavo- I think Chavo has this one.

Booker vs. Batista- Despite the good booking proposed by Avie, I think WWE is going to give the belt to Batista. He got beaten up on SD and it will be his "last chance" at Bookers title.

The WWE does have quite a few options with the Women's title. They still have Victoria on Raw, she's a good wrestler. They have Beth Phoenix, who's back from injury and wrestling in OVW. They have Jazz, who's not doing much to be honest. That, by my count, makes four possible females to add some credibility to the title.
Hell, if they were desperate, they could make the title defendable on any show, and have Ariel or Trinity challenge for it. Maybe even Vicky Guerrero, that sounds like a viable option for Vinnie Mac.

I think what will happen with the Spirit Squad break up is something like this. Kenny will break off and feud with the remaining four. Because of the four on one odds he will be a underdog type of character, kinda like Spike Dudley. He'll eventually win the feud and stay on Raw with Johnny. The other three guys will go to Smackdown to feed the cruiserweight division. I'm hoping Kenny will get a new gimmick so we can tell apart from the other four losers.

Why all the hate on the Women'd division. Sure it has seen better days, but there is no reason to scrap it. We still have Mickie and Victoria to keep things going for a while. I'm hoping that Maria might take some lessons from CM Punk.

One thing I really hate about survivor series this year, is there is no big elmination tag team matches. They all seem to be stupid idea's that just won't make a good Survivor Series. Another thing is Randy Orton is not in the 5 on 5 tag team matches this year, that's like his specialty. Oh well, there is always next year.

Are you being sarcastic? Or have you not seen WWE programming for the past month? I'm pretty sure that Orton is in one of those 5-on-5 matches and hopefu;;y he'll get eliminated by CM Punk.

And including that Orton match, there's about 2 more elimination type matches... All of them are 5 against 5.

Fuck no. They can give Randy a win, say, at the Rumble.

Randy Orton's contract is coming due soon, and WWE is anxious to lock him in long-term and they still seem to see him as a top guy (even if most others don't), so I imagine Orton will really be getting a push upcoming here, as they entice him to re-sign, and attempt to get the most for their investment. I just hope he gets his maturity issues and other things under control.

Style - technical
alignment - face (call me slow, but the hell is a tweener?)
promotion - TNA, or WWE if the storylines dont suck
i would use - DDT, all kinds of suplexes, dragon sleeper, spinebuster, STO, STF, neckbreaker
finishing move - i call it the rotator of pain = opponent face-down on the mat, i sandwich his legs inbetween mine, then roll towards him untill his legs form a pyramid shape, then reach over and streach his neck towards me.

If you must know... All the participants of the Elimination Chamber were made to look strong (fact that it was in Philly helped). And of course the best thing is that during the Team DX vs Team RKO match, it was CM Punk who got the most cheeres, easily. That match was Punk's coming out party, and if anyone backstage still has doubts about CM after that match... Then those people are stupid plain and simple.

Other than that, it was a decent PPV, but considering that it was one of the big four, I expected a much better product.

At least I have a nECW PPV to look forward to.

Because I want to show ECW somoe more love, I'll put this, which was mentioned in an SS recap.

DX does their intro, but CM punk gets such a loud pop, and Hunter actually lets him do the “Are You Ready” line. Coincidentally, Satan just built a snow fort.

Punnk got such a loud pop, that HHH, Mr backstage powers, has to suck up to old CM to get a bigger reaction from the crowd.... oh yeah, the are you ready line, it was Punk who said it.
