WWE.com reported tonight that Bobby Lashley has been cleared to return to action for WWE after he was held out of last week's action due to elevated enzyme levels in his liver.

Good to know that Lashley has been cleared to wrestle.

Yay! Although rather convenient that he was pulled from that particular match just to be cleared.

As we reported earlier this week on the Elite audio hotline, WWE has been going forward as if ECW's TV show would be picked up by Sci Fi when its 12 week "trial" run ends. Sci Fi loves the ratings that ECW has done. Now, it's as close to official as it gets until we get a press release. Sci Fi has released its September schedule, and ECW is on it.

Niiiice. Even though I don't watch it; other people in the house who take control at night that don't like wrestling.

So Orton finally decided to talk about why he was suspended a while back and the reason was... surprising.

In the interview, Orton comments, "My problems came to a head when I decided to smoke a joint and someone smelled it and stooged me off. You know who you are, so if you are reading this, thanks. But I've also had a few outbursts of anger on the road. I get loud and verbally abusive. But I've nipped that part of me in the bud."

.... I always thought RVD was the high flyer in the company.. But still shame on the guy who ratted him out.

Wow that is actually really surprising. I guess Orton was a little stressed out.

Fuck that! Randy Orton, like RVD, should know to keep his recreational drug use (and I will give both the benefit of the doubt that it is recreational) away from their professional work. Doing that makes them a liability to the company, because if the wrong person sees that and calls the cops, or it becomes a problem where they're working high, it could open WWE up to bad press and potential worse actions. I can't believe Orton is so caveleer about such lousy behavior choices. WWE was well within their rights here, but it just illustrates what a long road it's going to be for WWE to really clean up their act, and turn the place more "professional" as they have allowed many guys to continue to act like this is still the days of the terroritories, or some indy where they're allowed to be asswipes unchecked.

Of course, Avie can't ban himself, because that would create a universal paradox that would incinerate the entire internet.

Man I hope they don't mess up the Big Show v. Batista match. Having it in the first place is pretty ridiculous, because either outcome would be pretty bad. With Batista back so soon, it'd seem wrong to have him lose a major match, but even worse for him to win the ECW belt. (Since he's not really an established part of ECW)

What they'll probably do, continuing the trend of his matches vs. Kennedy, is do something stupid like have it defended with regular rules (bleh) and have Batista lose by count-out or DQ.

The most sensical thing to do, despite Big Show's need for a clean win, would probably be to have Booker cost Batista his match, building the Batista-Booker feud.

First things first.... ECW news for tomorrow night...

The following is the updated line-up for tomorrow's ECW on Sci-Fi TV:

-Big Show (c) vs. Batista (ECW World Title)
-Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman vs. Mike Knox & Test (Extreme Rules Match)
-Kurt Angle's return
-C.M. Punk's in-ring debut
-Paul Heyman will react to Sabu attacking Big Show at the close of last week's ECW show

It should be noted that the Show vs Batista match isn't advertised as an Extreme-rules match....

Also Hulk Hogan is backstage so chances are we'll see him again tonight.

Carlito vs Nitro vs Benjamin has also been confirmed for tonight.

My name is pepeatumi... But you already knew that!

It seems Hogan won't be on RAW tonight or will he?? Spoilers ahead!!

Hulk Hogan will apparently not be appearing on tonight's edition of WWE RAW.

There's actually a very good look-alike confirmed for tonight's show that will be part of a parody skit on the much-hyped "Orton Knows Best" debut tonight.

Word from backstage is the Hogan look-alike is so close to the real thing, he fooled people in the business just walking around earlier today.

Why don't you like Samoa Joe? He's skilled in the ring, got a good voice, and hes able to connect with the crowd. He's got all the tools to be a major player, so whats up?

Well, I used to not like him, but eventually he became really cool. I mean, he's the only man I know who's 280 pounds and can do an enzuguri. Plus, he's just a badass all together.

What's up with not liking Samoa Joe? I like him, I respect his in-ring work...who doesn't respect his in-ring talent?

Btw, thanks again for the Samoa Joe matches, Redangleprince.

If it's not advertised as Extreme Rules, then it's not Extreme Rules, that's what we've been told lately. Not to mention they seem incapable of having more then one Extreme Rules match per show. They're going to try and protect both Batista and Show here, normally I'd be really pissed about that (I'm only mildly annoyed here) but we've got so much other good shit to look forward to on this show, and it's in an ECW building, I can't complain too much.

I'm just glad that Dreamer and Sandman will be involved in an extreme rules match because there's no way those could team up in an actual match... But you are eight I'm lookiing forward to two things.... Angle's return and CM Punk's debut... If only it were against each other.

Time for a small rant...by me.

WTF? If I haven't hated the Diva Search before, I do now. They cut Rebecca. Why? Rebecca was h o t man. Oh well, I'm not voting anymore because I can't see anymore hot girls left. Jen, JT and Milena all are pretty nice, Layla needs to get her friggin hair cut...that and she looks ugly, Erica needs to be cut next because she's just plain stupid. She doesn't know how to dance and she voted Rebecca to be voted off next...when in fact she's allready been eliminated. Of course JT also said Rebecca, but I'd like JT to stay.

Why the hell am I even talking about this? All this is is time filler. someone gag me now please.

Tatanka will be taking a break from WWE for 30 days because of personal issues. Now that Sylvan is the Ambassador of Quebec, Will Rene Dupree return as a member of the SmackDown brand as the Ambassador of France and reform La Resistance? Sylvan won at the end.

Rene Dupree is on RAW first of all. The only way he could get back on Smackdown is by the Draft (which usually happens pretty close to Wrestlemania) or if RAW traded him for some Smackdown wrestlers. Second, IF Rene comes back to Smackdown I hope to God he does not become ambassador of France and refore La Resistance...allthough a La Resistance reformation would be good ratings for The Highlanders.

Well, if I'm not mistaken, he did one on Monty Brown last week on iMPACT!. After Monty got that, Joe put on the Rear-Naked Choke, but that's when Rhino gored them both through the tables.

But, does anyone notice that TNA is something like a WCW reincarnate, with a little wannabe ECW on the side?
