Raw wasn't that good last night. It was good to see HHH-HBK because it brings back memories but other than that Raw sucked, RVD didn't wrestle and Carlito fought Kane for like the tenth time. At least Cena got his ass kicked.

More hardcore matches, TLC matches, and hell in a cell matches.

Triple H wins every title, ever. Because he married into the company.

Enjoy this read.

Raw without JR is fucking retared.

Oh, I KNOW you weren't talking about "The Voice of ECW" Joey Styles.

Speaking of ECW, one of the three planned books on ECW is now available. It's Scott Willaims's Hardcore History: The Extremely Unauthorized Story of ECW, Williams co-authored the biographies of both Terry Funk (which was excellent), and Cowboy Bill Watts. The book is available from Sports Publishing, LLC. You should be able to find it at any decent book store chain. I'll have more on that when I actually get to read it (currently finishing up Dusty Rhodes's book

Ah, hell no! You didn't just say that?! Ok, ya did. But, Joey Styles is the best damn announcer out there (except the SD broadcast team; they're cool) on RAW. And, like Avie said, he is the "Voice of ECW". He might be one man, but he can do Coach and King's job better than they can.

Other than HHH-HBK match, RAW sucked. Even then, the ending to that match with HBK and Triple H was bad. It didn't have that fire that they usually have when they face each other in the ring.

Nice to see ya again, DuMa. Great to see your insight. Brings humor to my day.

Before I go, I just wanted to know this: Did Shark Boy win a match two weeks ago on iMPACT!? Fucking aye if he did. Shark Boy's cool.

Yeah, I'm kinda happy Cena lost. Raw is getting down board ever since they lost Batista. Bring back Batista to Raw and make him WWE Champion.

Wow, you deserve a slow painful death. I am only joking of course but I at least hope that sometime in your life, you run into Tommy Dreamer and he piledrives you on some concrete steps or something. Anyway, cannot wait for Mania. I am starting ot think more and more each day that Cena is going to beat HHH. I normally bet on each PPV match with a couple of friends and I'm still torn over this one.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2006-03-29 06:38:52

Don't be knocking Styles, he's the man. Actually it would be better if Coach shut the hell up for a while and let joey actually do color better. I know I'm not the only one who has noticed that Coach constantly goes on for too long and doesn't let Joey do his job.

I think the best team for Raw would be King and Joey doing the color stuff while JR does the play-by-play. SD is fine the way it is, Cole and Tazz are a good team. And it is kinda cool to have ECW guys commentate for both shows.

**TNA SPOILER ALERT**

It was announced at the TNA TV tapings last night in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios that Christopher Daniels' opponent at the Lockdown PPV on April 23 for the X Division Title will be Jushin "Thunder" Liger. For those who remember, Liger appeared for TNA last year in October of 2005 at the Bound for Glory PPV facing Samoa Joe in what was described as a disappointing match. I have a feeling that this will not be any better. Besides that, it's predictable. They aren't going to give the belt to someone who doesn't even work full time.

That match alome pretty much makes Lockdown a must but PPV in my opinion that's will be more than likely the match that will steal the show.

If you really really want in you need to say a bit more than that. Who is your favorite wrestler, what do you think of the upcoming WM card, favorite move, or something. Not just "yo im in" and a pic.

With WM this weekend you surly have more to say than that.

to be honest, I was going to order mania. but I am not really into it. I mean i am hoping that cena loses and such. but I am gonan pass on mania and wait for lockdown.

From what I've been hearing Lockdown is shaping up to be a great PPv some of the rumored matches include: Christopher Daniels and Jushing Thunder Liger and I also heard about a possible Samoa Joe-Sabu match which would be great. My advice do just that pass on WM and order Lockdown.

Samoa Joe vs. Sabu is confirmed. Also confirmed is Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett with weapons hanging from the cage, Jarrett must accept or leave the company.

Another bout that is all but confirmed is Christian vs. Abyss for the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and I'd imagine The Dudleys will face AMW for the Tag straps.

I think I'll save my ppv money for One Night Stand II.... They are still calling it one night stand right?

I've been saving my money up for a while now. Hopefully I will be able to afford Mania and Lockdown. What month is One Night Stand due to take place?

Also, Raven coming back is terrific news to me. Raven is and always has been one of my favorite singles wrestlers. I'm just glad that TNA is actually allowing him to be who he wants to be. WWE gave him a quick run but it sucked ass. They dressed him up like Tatanka and expected him to be happy.

It'll be June 11, once Mania is over, expect me to once again like last year try and get the ECW hype machine rolling again as I try to profile more wrestlers from the ECW alumni, field questions about the company, offer a review of the new book on the unauthorized story of the company, and much much more to shill for a great buyrate on this PPV. One Night Stand is MY Wrestlemania.

I'll doulbe confirm the date for this year's ECW: One Night Stand. June 11, and I hope it was as good as it was last year. Minus the WWE crusader run-ins. Course, I enjoyed seeing them get beaten the hell outta by the ECW boys. I just have to wonder, will we see Rhino, Sabu, or even the Dudleys this year?

Personally, I want to see the "Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. Rob Van Dam. That would be awesome.

As for Mania, well, I'm a bit weary on buying it. My sattelite provider, Dish network, has it billed at $49.95. I might, but I don't wanna be gyped like the beginning of SummerSlam. The first two matches (minus the stupid skits inbetween) was about seven minutes combined. My predictions for WM22 will be posted at a later time this week.

Until then, congrats everyone on making it 400 pages. BTW, did anyone post the SD spoilers link?

I don't think we'll see Sabu, The Dudleyz or Rhyno at One night Stand their under contract with TNA and I don't see them making any kind of deal with the WWE so that more than likely won't hapen.

Up until earlier today, I would have said "maybe" as I could see WWE and TNA possibly making a deal here since WWE could really use the ability to book the TNA talents to help bolster the show. However, I read that when the November Reign (The penultimate Hardcore Homecoming show) DVD is released, they have to cut a match which was considered the main event Team 3D vs. Terry Funk and Sabu. This is because in the agreement TNA has with their DVD providers, TNA talent CAN NOT under any circumstances be featured on a non-TNA DVD release. Because WWE is assuredly going to put ONS2 on DVD (hopefully with some more extras this time, though it's still a rush job, so I doubt it), I can't see them making a deal with TNA that could result in them either being litigated against, or not putting the whole show onto the disc. Unless they can come to an agreement to allow for that talent to be used this one time that mutually satisfies all parties (and I really fucking doubt that can be done), it would appear that it'll only be WWE contracted wrestlers, and anybody who isn't formally committed to TNA.

**Spoiler Alert!(OGM!!)!**

Well, this week in SD! few things happened. I watched SD! a few hours ago, but due to my 6 and a half day ban, i was unable to post.

It started off with Rey coming out to the ring, how he's always been considered unworthy blah blah...

Kurt game out saying Nobody could beat me, Olympic Gold Medalist blah blah blah..

Then RKO came out. Worked the crowed up by pretending to initiate a 2 on 1 handicap match against Kurt and Rey vs Himself. He of course said "that isn't" Gonna Happen.

Then, he somehow used his Jedi mindtricks to make Kurt and Rey challenge each other.

Then RO got escorted out of the building (you could smell a mile away he was gonna comeback and interfere, we are used to it by now)

Anywayz, Birchilll had a match against Booker. Birchill dominated, Bogeyman music played, kindnapped Sharmel. Booker chased after, Winner: Pirate Man

Umm, I think MNM and Finalay versed Lashely, Hardy and Tatanka (if i remember correctly)
Hardy and co wins in the end. Looks to me a RAW person will win MITB due to SD! Lack of buildup and is really just a stepping stone to a Lashley-Finalay Rivalry.

Benoit and Heel version of Hawk versed. Benoit killed him.
Backstage, JBL talks blah blah blah Eddie Guerrero Blah.
Really, this rivalry between JBL and Benoit, JBL has been a great and courteous heel.

The JBL vs Jobber. JBL ABSOLUTELY RAPED HIM!
It was even a fraction of a contest.

Uh, then Mark Henry come out, talked about Undertaker's streak and All the people he's beaten, Such as HHH, RO, Flair, Kane, Diesel (SP, whatever Kevin Nash)

Etc, the Fat Fuck will R.I.P come Sunday.

Then the ME. Kurt Angle Vs The Over-rated Underdog.

Meh, first Half hour was kinda Bland, last 15 was Pretty good. Kurt won by Catching Rey's foot during the 619 and making the bitch tap in a Millisecond.

The RO RKO'd Rey, Kurt came back to the Ring and AngleSlammed+Ankle Lock on RO, who lasted at least 20x longer than Rey did.

**END SPOILER**

Even after all these events, my money's on RO to take the title, Either Flair or RVD for MITB and H to win the title. Few matches Obvious. Taker=win. Trish vs Mickie James is tough to pick and the highlight of WM22 would be the Vince and HBK match.

which is a damnm shame that they can't come to an agreement. TNA has a good chunk of former ECW guys who really should be there in my mind.

I agree, and it's the reason why I keep saying if WWE wants to continue to make money off ECW in a PPV sense, and having more then just the ECW tape library to exploit, they need to ressurect the brand, create new stars that ECW fans will accept, and move on from there. I think it's entirely doable, but WWE needs to do it now. Especially since TNA is getting so many of the alumni locked into deals that will not allow them to come to any WWE backed "reunion" shows. If they don't, I see ONS only going maybe another year, and then WWE will probably not be able to do much more with the concept.

I've seen a lot of WM22 predictions on here but most people have been staying away from the Edge vs. Foley match. Anyone have any opinions on this?

I kind of hope that Edge destroys Foley but most people will think that Foley winning is a no-brainer. What do you guys think?
