I think Angle winning the title is the first step towards merging the two brands together.Seeing as how Smackdown! has some injured wrestlers its the most logical solution, besides the Angle VS HBK match for Raw is still on it looks like they'll keep this storyline going and explain it later down the road.

YES! my favourite wrestler finally got the fucking gold he deserves! But can someone explain to me how Angle (whos from RAW) got a spot in the royal rumble on SmackDown? And also did Kurt change brands? If he did then why did Vince make a match between Angle and HBK next monday? Everything is still confusing to me but im happy as hell that Kurty got the WHC!

As much as i can't stand Kurt Angle i must say that was a good move making him World Champion on SD especially with Batista being out and Kurt hasn't held gold (besides his stupid medals) for a while and the way he went out in the Elimantion Chamber wasn't right,he is one of the best wrestlers in WWE history,now i really think a SD superstar will win the rumble cause they really have no one to compete with Kurt on SD and as for Raw they will most likely drag the Edge and John Cena feud out.

I heard HASSAN, and the angle that was going on. I'm sure UPN just said "get the foreign guys off because of the shit you're pulling" and they have no clue who Daivari is, they just responded to angry letters. Long as Daivari isn't out there with "terroist cells" or making "bombs" or some other racist and stupid gimmick, he'll stay under UPN's radar and be fine to go.

I imagine the Angle/Michaels match will probably either be called off, or be done just to fulfill the obligation, then Kurt will be on SD! full time. Nobody anywhere is speculating about where Kurt is in terms of brand...he won SD's belt, so that's where he's going. Period.

The latter is true. The Angle/HBK match is still on. The exciting part, though, is that after that they're on separate brands for good. So for their personal tie-breaking match, this is all-or-nothing. Unless they have another interpromotional match at Wrestlemania.

It's also funny that Kurt won the gold cause the match between him and Micheals on Raw is still on and possibly that match will be for that belt but with Micheals being on Mcmahon's bad side i doubt it. =(

It really could be for the belt. If it were, three scenerios emerge:

1) Kurt Angle wins. Stays on Raw to help to (eventually) create an Undisputed Heavyweight champion.

2) Kurt Angle wins. Goes to Smackdown! and rivals there.

3) Shawn Micheals wins. Vince later screws him out of the title. Shawn Micheals vs Vince McMahon @ Wrestlemania 22!!!

I think the match on Raw will be for the title Vince will screw HBK there and eventually like you said they'll have a match at Wrestlemania.

They are not going to reunite the brands. As we have seen they just have far too many wrestlers for one show. So making the belt an undisputed championship again is kinda dumb in that sense.

Hmm..I do partially agree. However, you have 4 shows at your disposal (Velocity, Heat, SmackDown! & Raw) not to mention the monthly PPV. In my opinion, it is possible. However, at the same time, having one head champion of 4 shows and PPV's gets a little repetitive, and the title would have to change hands quite often.

However, that WAS only one of the Kurt Angle scenerios I came up with...

Sorry for the double post, however I thought of why WWE decided to give Edge the belt:

- When Cena won the title, everyone was exstatic. They loved Cena and were glad that he won.

- Over time, his act got stale and repetitive and everywhere he went, a few more people would start booing him.

- Since Cena is supposed to be a babyface, this was a problem. I think the plan is for a true heel (in this case, Edge) to be champion so that the fans will be thankful for the time that Cena was champion. They will want him back in comparison to Edge, and Cena will once again be WWE champion. I'm not sure if this will happen at the Royal Rumble, a PPV just before Wrestlemania, or a PPV just after Wrestlemania. Anyone else see this happening?

That makes sense because that was th problem with Cena getting booed he's a face he isn't supposed to get booed now when Edge gets booed its because its supposed to happen. On a totally unrelated note on TBN's, Praise The Lord the host will be Sting his guest? None other than Shawn Michaels I know it doesn't have anything to do wrestling but just thought it was interesting.

I never thought that far as Wrestlemania 22 for Batista. Now I really want him to get well. As for Taker getting the belt at the Royal Rumble, I HIGHLY doubt that. He use to wrestle alot when he was the America Bad*** , but since he became the dead man, he barely wrestles.

Its highly doubtful that he'll win the title he only works part-time so it would be hard to keep up any feud he's in plus he already had a feud with JBL and with Orton who are probably the top two heels in Smackdown!
