Huge Late-Morning WWE Update
The Raw crew has returned home from the middle-east after taping the holiday special for the troops. RAW is live this coming Monday from the former Fleet Center in Boston. The Smackdown crew is in in Bangor, ME, tonight and the TV tapings are Tuesday in Springfield, MA.
WCAX-TV in Vermont ran a story on New York State Senator Thomas Libous praising the WWE's latest drug policy.
Johnny Parisi has been medically cleared to wrestle following knee surgery.
Adam Lebow sent in this note...'For those in Canada who get the Xtreme Sports Network, there will be a replay of the 2002 episode of Fear Factor, which included Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Test, Lita, Molly and Jacqueline. It airs three times coming up...1pm on 12/16, 9pm on 12/16,
and 5am on 12/17.'
One of the reasons Eric Bischoff may have been fired as Raw's GM is due to him working on a reality series project on with Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst.
- Bill Demott told everyone in Deep South to "get off the gas" (steroids) immediately following the announcement of Vince's new drug testing policy.
- There is a brief interview with Hillbilly Jim in the latest FHM Magazine with him talking about his radio show on Sirius.
- There is a new "Five Questions with the Champ" up with John Cena for this weekend at WWE.com.
- Mick Foley has added a second entry to his "blog" on WWE.com regarding the company's current trip to Afghanistan
- A new Power 25 has been added to WWE.com. Rounding out the top five this week is John Cena at No. 1, Batista at No. 2, Big Show & Kane at No. 3, Booker T at No. 4 and Randy Orton at No. 5.
- The 12/9 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown drew an estimated 2.8 broadcast rating. This took UPN to a fourth place finish overall for the night. We hope to have more on this number in the coming days.
Kurt Angle vs. Ric Flair, Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito, Chris Masters vs. Viscera, Shawn Michaels vs. Big Show and Triple H vs. Kane will all take place on RAW this week. These will be qualifying matches to be entered into the Elimination Chamber on January 8th from Albany, NY. This weeks RAW is NOT the overseas Afghanistan show as that will air the following week.
MNM vs. Batista & Rey Mysterio for the tag titles will main event SmackDown! this week.

WWE.com has re-posted their Tajiri story. It reads "WWE and Tajiri have reached an agreement on his release. Monday Night RAW in Boston on Dec. 12, 2005, will be Tajiri’s final appearance. Tajiri has decided to go back to his native Japan to work on writing a book. In addition, Tajiri plans to write news columns upon his return. WWE wishes Tajiri the best in all his future endevours."
