This is SD 6, but it is called SD vs Raw.

I think so. Old Skool Takr and The Now Taker...which are very similar.

I have more details on Sable's release from WWE.

Many belive that Rena "Sable" Mero was fired yesterday due to her negative comments to the media about sexism in WWE, however sources claim that it could of been due to her relationship with Brock Lesnar.

WWE are upset with the anti-wrestling comments that have been made by Lesnar since his departure from WWE, and some think WWE may have released Sable to get back at Lesnar.

wel that's just stupid. If Lesnar decides to go back then chances are it would be to tna...

That is if he choses to go back. he did make the cut for the team.. It will be an interesting year for football.... And of course my favoite team gets craped on before the damn season.. I root for dolphines

would WWE really fire someone to get back at a former wrestler? it just seems unprofesional. also what kind of remarks were made by lesnar?

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-08-11 19:23:45

exactly my thinking, very unprofessional.

They are going to make a wrestling channel that will feature tons of footage from classic WWF, WCW and ECW as well as a few indepenant promotions WWE has bought over the years, like the smoky moutian wrestling and OVW.

Really! I would need to get that!

Another thing about the game, which is something I almost died over.

Now, due to the makers being awesome, you may break Submission holds in tag matches. It is sweet! This looks to be a ginormously awesome game!

Also, I read that you can get into chopping contests during the matches. Like when Benoit and Flair do it or back when Flair and Sting exchanged blows. Super!

But what I love best is that is now almost exactly like the real WWE! But, I say we need more players. So we can do an 8 man match. or a 10 man tag match. Or battle royals with no health meters or Meters at all. Just every name from the match, Say a 20 man Battle royale or the Royal Rumble, Just put 20 or 30 names at the top and when they are eliminated, the name dissapears. That would be awesome.

God Dayum! This is going to be awesome! I will most likely get it for Christmas. And, I never thought I would say this, but I hope they have to postpone it a little more. It is due out November 6, 2004. Just pused back untill December 7th. That would be better. More time to do some checking and tweaking to make it better and closer to christmas. They do realize they are going to Make Millions off of this. Maybe, and I May be exaggerating, Billions! I would love that!

It's time...for frogman's predictions...

Diva Dodgeball (Trish Stratus, Jazz, Molly Holly, Gail Kim, Stacy Keibler, Nidia and Victoria vs. Michelle McCool, Christy Hemme, Maria Kanellis, Tracie Wright, Carmella DeCesare, Amy Weber, and Joy Giovanni): who knows, maybe the divas in the running for the quarter mil will win it since they haven't had a match yet. One side note, I forgot to vote for Christy this week :(, but thank God Chandra was the last looser. Hopefully Maria will be next.

Six-man Tag Team Match (Rey Mysterio, Billy Kidman and Paul London vs. The Dudleys): Dudleys. Paul and Billy have the upper hand against Bubba and D-von, but Spike has the upper hand against Rey. since Paul, Billy and Rey lead upper hands 2 to 1, Dudleys will win.

U. S. Championship (Booker T. vs. John Cena, a best of five series): I dunno who will win the first match...at Summer Slam, but whoever wins the first one, obviously the other one will win the second one.

Triple H vs. Eugene. Triple H has the upper hand in their confrontations, in mind games they're tied (Eugene screwing HHH, HHH beating Regal), I say Eugene pulls off a huge upset, and it won't be the first time HHH has been upset. The Brooklyn Brawler upset HHH before too.

Till Death Do Us Part Match (Kane vs. Matt Hardy. The winner marries Lita): My first prediction was for Kane to win since Matt beat Kane at Vengeance, but due to what happened on the RAW before Summer Slam (Lita announcing the baby is Kanes), Matt will once again kick Kane's ass, and when he does, the truth will be revealed that she lied about the baby being Kane's and then say the baby is Matt's, which will piss Kane off and try to kill Lita's baby.

Intercontinental Championship (Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista) I too will say Batista will win the Intercontinental Championship, setting up a future angle with Edge and Chris Jericho because Edge vs. Jericho will be a good feud. One change though, I said Jericho was turning heel again, which would kick ass, but after listening to that Prince Guy, I have to change my vote, because I remember reading a magazine that said Edge and Christian would reunite, but it never said when they would.

Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle: I dunno. Kurt's seeking revenge against Guerrero for the WM loss, but Guerrero is seeking revenge for Kurt costing him the WWE Championship.

WWE Championship (Undertaker vs. JBL, John Bradshaw Layfield): Well...JBL has only had a two month run with the title, so I say JBL successfully defends the title, as much as I want him to lose it.

Lastly, but not leastly, World Heavyweight Championship (Chris Benoit vs. Randy K. Orton): Benoit has held the title since WM, so his reign has to end...but when? I say now. I've said this for a while now, and I'll say it again, Randy Orton will win the World Heavyweight title, becoming the youngest champion evar, which is true because Brock Lesnar became the champ at 25, and anyone else was champ after 24, like The Rock...champ at 26, and Yokozuna...champ at 26.

So, in review...right now it stands Dudleys, Eugene, Matt Hardy, Batista, John Bradshaw Layfield, Randy Orton. I still need predictions for...Diva Dodgeball, U.S. Championship part one of five, and Eddie vs. Kurt. Right now my predictions are...two faces to four heels. So, this is what I say...Eddie vs. Kurt...Kurt, U.S. Championship part one of five...Booker T., Diva Dodgeball...the seven girls going for the quarter mil.

So, in my last review...the seven girls going for the quarter mil, Dudleys, Booker T., Eugene, Matt Hardy, Batista, Kurt Angle, JBL, Randy Orton, thus making a six heel to three face victory.

Here is the real reason why Sable was released by WWE.

After much speculation, PWTorch.com reports that the official reason for Sable's release was not any single issue speculated earlier.

Apparently, Sable had asked for a reduced schedule; a demand that WWE was not interested in meeting. Combined with the fact that she wanted a reduced schedule, her ties with Brock Lesnar and interview comments did not help the situation.

The feeling, however, is that the interview definitely would not have led to her release without either of the other two factors. WWE not only monitored the interview as it was being completed, but aims to allow their workers 'controlled free speech.' In fact, despite common belief, the internal reason for Roddy Piper's past release was not his HBO interview, but the fact that he was miserable while preforming his job.

Sable shouldn't be on Smackdown anyway. She should be on Raw
trying to get the women's title.

Also, SD is celebrating it's 5th anniversary two weeks from tomorrow. 8/26/99. Kurt has been on TV for five yrs...so five yrs. of SD, five yrs. of Kurt Angle. Top ten matches of SD...

The Rock 'n' Sock Connection vs. The New Age Outlaws. 10/14/99
Triple H vs. Tazz. 4/20/00. First Champion vs. Champion match, WWF Champion vs. ECW Champion
Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz (Tables, Ladders & Chairs match). 5/24/01
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit. 5/31/01
Hulk Hogan vs. Chris Jericho. 5/2/02
Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero. 9/26/02
Matt Hardy vs. Rey Mysterio. 6/5/03
Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show. 6/12/03. Match where the ring emploded
Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar. 9/18/03. First evar Iron Man Match on public TV.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Shelton Benjamin. 3/11/04

There are also lots of unforgettable SD moments. First SD, 8/26/99, Triple H vs. The Rock for World title with Shawn Michaels as special guest referee. Triple H won, with help from Michaels. Two weeks later, Jeff Jarrett attacked The Fabulous Moolah, trying to send a message to Chyna, his challenger for the Intercontinental title. A week later Triple H and Vince McMahon fought for the World Title, with Shane as special guest referee. Triple H clobbered Vince, Shane, and even the stooges Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco that Linda sent down to help Vince, but it was Stone Cold Steve Austin who whooped Triple H and put Vince on HHH for the win. Two months later, Arnold Schwarzenegger appears on SD. Vince gave Arnold a commemorative Championship belt, which made HHH jealous because he was all like "I spent my whole life to working for the World Championship and this guy gets the title on his first day". Later, D-X took on Shane McMahon, Kane, Test & The Rock with Steve Austin as the special enforcer. Arnold threw a chair to Austin and Austin used it against HHH, costing HHH and D-X the match. HHH confronted Arnold later on, and Arnold hit HHH in the jaw. A month, three weeks and four days later The Radicals appear, and the only way they can get jobs is by winning two out of three matches, Dean Malenko vs. X-Pac, Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero vs. the New Age Outlaws, and Chris Benoit vs. HHH. X-Pac won, and the New Age Outlaws won, which basically ended their careers, but HHH agreed to still face Benoit. HHH won. Three months and three days later, Stephanie became the Women's Champ, which was three days before WrestleMania 2000. Three months and a half later, Triple H faced Kaientai and the Brooklyn Brawler to get a shot at Y2J at Fully Loaded 2000. A simple task? yes...but if Jericho interferes, heylls nah. With Jericho's interference, the Brooklyn Brawler upsets HHH.

A year of SD has passed, yay. One year is 8/26/00, but that falls on a Saturday, so we'll fix it to...8/24/00. One and a half years, three months and three weeks later (wow, what a gap. It's only eleven months after the Brawler incident) the first evar Tables Ladders and Chairs match happened on public TV. This would also be the same as one of the ten top matches in SD history. A month and a half later Vince is in the gutter, emotionally, as Torrie Wilson tricked him to drop his pants in front of his wife, not to mention Shane buying WCW...so Stone Cold goes out and buys cowboy hats, two that matched...for Vince and himself, and one smaller one for Angle. A week after that, the picture comes into play. WCW invades WWF programming...and there's a mole? Oh yes, it's none other than Paul Heyman. Stephanie owning ECW, Shane owning WCW, and Heyman as the mental prowess, WWF is screwed. Also that night, Stone Cold sings to the down in the gutter Vince. Two weeks later, or four days after Invasion, the PPV, where Stone Cold turned on the WWF, Angle said he would strike back in his hometown. Angle challenged Austin for the WWF title, but Austin declined and gave Angle a match against Booker T, the WCW champ, instead. It was a brutal match...so brutal The Alliance (WCW and ECW) and WWF superstars came down to the ring to help their prospective stars. Angle got laid out by a chair and stunned, but that didn't stop him from scoring the WCW Title.

Two years of SD passed, and to commemorate, they break out the new "Breakout Fist" set, new entrance music, new everything pretty much. On this night, The Invasion still went on. Two weeks and five days later, Austin faced RVD for the WWF Title. Basically Austin was pissed off at Angle and to settle his anger challenged the next person to walk into the locker room and his challenge threw in the title. RVD was the next one in. Even though RVD won, I'm guessing by the magazine in front of my face that Stone Cold decided not to give the title to RVD. You know this happened before...it's coming back to me...when HHH had the title...it was a PHAT samoan...good tag-team partner...meh (btw, if you don't know, that was sarcasm) anywho...a week and two days later, everyone's questioning what will happen with WWF because that was two days after 9/11, but nonetheless the show went on...and was the first major public event held after the tragedy. A month later, Stone Cold gloated that he successfully defended his title against Angle and said with Regal, the then commish, on their side, everything would be fine and dandy. Linda didn't think so, so she fired Regal. RVD then faced Jericho for the #1 contender spot for the WCW Title, Austin interfered and hit RVD in the head with a chair, letting Jericho get the win, but the new commish, Foley, walks in and says "RVD, you get the chance to enter the WWF championship match at No Mercy '01" and RVD was like "Cool".

I'll post the rest later, I'm tired now

LOL

Brock Lesnar, who seems to have a problem avoiding confrontation lately, started a fight in his first scrimmage as a Viking today, as Minnesota took on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The rules for the game were to avoid major contact and violent tackles, yet Lesnar blatantly broke the rules by sacking the backup quarterback, Damon Huard. "That's just me, and I don't care what [the Chiefs] think about it," Lesnar said in what was a succinct summary of how most Vikings players and coaches felt. "I'm here to play football and make the team. I'm going 110 percent. I'm not going to dial it down. That's the game. We've got full pads on. If that's the tempo they want to play, maybe my tempo is a little different."

After Lesnar's play, the game got significantly more aggressive and the Vikings were tacking Chief ball carriers.

Later on in the game, Lesnar tackled Jonathan Smith, prompting Jonathan Ingram to sprint into the pile and shove Lesnar. Lesnar responded by jumping on Ingram's back. The two quickly ripped each other's helmets off and caused players from both sidelines to get involved in the scuffle.

"I've got to prove myself," a defiant Lesnar said. "If it's fighting and clawing and whatever, then that's what I'm going to do. I haven't had this much fun since ... I can't remember. I have only one speed. Sometimes I got too far past the line and had to come back. I've got to find that happy medium, and I don't know if I've got it. But at least I'm getting up there and causing some chaos."

Well in a torando tag match it would be awesome now you can save your partner how is it done just walk up and stomp. but suck major balls in a normal tag cuz when player1 is about to make the opponet(spell wtf) tap out to win their partner can save them. I just hope they dont increase the cpu AI so when you knock them off the apron then go and pin, they will just sit there grooving on it.

Rook gives his Summerslam Predictions!

World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton. The way they've set all this up, I see Randy Orton's victory as inevitable. Plus, an Orton win, from a storyline point of view, makes more sense. Orton wins, and tensions increase between him and Hunter. If Benoit wins, what does he have waiting for him? Another stale feud with HHH or Kane? I see Benoit dropping down the card slightly for a while, maybe feuding with Edge or Christian.

WWE Championship
JBL vs. The Undertaker. Given that it's been rumored that JBL was considered for a long run, and that Taker is scheduled for a feud with Jon Heidenreich (ugh), Heyman and Heidenreich screw Taker out of the title.

Intercontinental Triple Threat.
Edge vs. Batista vs. Jericho. Batista won't win. He hasn't really added much to the drama of this feud. He's the wild card in what is essentially Edge vs. Jericho. I think Edge will win, but this feud has built up rather confusingly. The signs point to an Jericho heel turn, not the rumored Edge turn. It would have made more sense on RAW if Edge had turned his back while Jericho got beat down, not vice versa.

US Championship Best of Five.
John Cena vs. Booker T. John Cena will win the first confrontation, getting the early lead over Booker T. Booker will then go on to win the next two, then Cena will win the fourth. Then comes the Next SD exclusive PPV, in which Booker T cheats to retain his title.

Till Death Do Us Part.
Matt Hardy vs. Kane. Kane. This one is just TOO obvious. Lita heel turn is gonna cost Hardy the match, and leave raw with no credible face divas. Joy!

Six Man Tag Match
The Dudley Boyz vs. Paul London, Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio. This, imo, is the least predictable match. But I'm going to go with....Team Cruiserweight :)

Grudge Match.
Triple H vs. Eugene. Another unpredictable one, but I'm pretty sure we'll see Eugene get the underdog win when Evolution does NOT come to Hunter's aid. (More setup for Evolution breakup.)

Grudge Match.
Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle. Angle beats Eddie with an assist from a Charlie Haas heel turn, and Team Angle is back in business! :D

Diva Dodge Ball.
Professional Female Wrestlers vs. Talentless Skanks.
The Pros win, because that makes for better TV.

Sunday Night Heat Match.
Rhyno and Tajiri vs. Jobbers in a #1 contenders match. Rhyno and Tajir win.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-08-12 11:58:10

Well since everyone is doing it, I will Give my predictions!

No paticular order:

Eddie vs Kurt: Kurt.
JBL vs Taker: Taker or Taker by DQ
Chris Benoit vs Randy Orton: Orton
Triple H vs Eugene: Triple H...But I have a bad feeling...
Jericho vs Edge vs Batista: Batista! Gawd Dayum Right!
Diva Dodgeball: Doesn't matter. As long as tities are involved :D
6-Man Tag match: ECW Deja-vu. THe Dudleys.
Us Title: Booker, Cena, Booker, Cena, Booker.
Til Death Do Us Part: Kane.

There ya go! And I predict, since it is my segment, the Move of the Week Will be the RKO. It can only be 4 moves for move of the day. RKO, Crossface, Chloseline from Hell, Tombstone. I also predict the move of sunday will be The Tombstone.

Here is the latest why Sable left WWE.

To add further to Rena "Sable" Mero's departure from WWE, it seems that she had become tired of the constant travelling that goes with being a WWE superstar and that she wanted to her role changed to a TV-only character. Sable's boyfriend, Brock Lesnar, also found the travel demands associated with the job very tough to handle.

Sable apparently approached WWE management to try and get herself a reduced role, mainly to spend more time with her daughter and Lesnar. As the story goes, WWE were not flexible to her needs and both parties decided to amicably part ways.

This is the latest story making the rounds but it wouldn't surprise many if there was much more to this story. Either way, I shall keep you updated.

Does anyone think Paul London has potential in the WWE?

I think he does. He does a good variety of amazing moves. I like that moonsault-dropkick.

Response to The Wrestling (WWE) Club 2004-08-12 21:23:39

LordKooler's Smackdown review
1.JBL Segment rating:***
A good segment to start off Smackdown. JBL says that the Undertaker defeated everybody in WWE. Then JBL names Orlando jordan as his "chief of staff."
2.Spike dudley vs Paul london rating:***
A good match. Spike dudley won at the end after help from Bubba & D-von.
3.Chavo guerrero vs Nunzio rating:***1/2
A decent match. It had it's moments, Like when Johnny stamboli broke up the pin when Chavo was trying to pin Nunzio by holding on to the ropes, And when Nunzio rolled up Chavo for the win.
4.Undertaker vs Orlando jordan rating:***
Orlando jordan used to be a jobber before he turned heel and became JBL's chief of staff. But this was a good match. Undertaker won by DQ after JBL attacked him.
5.Kurt angle and Eddie guerrero shake hands rating:***
Another good segment. Smackdown GM Theodore long comes out and then Angle and Eddie guerrero come out. Angle says he wants the money from the Kurt angle auction from WWE.com.
Then eddie says that the money was for charity. Then angle says that it doesn't matter what it was for. Then eddie talks about Angle screwing him of the WWE championship in that cage match againsy JBL. Then it ends with Guerrero and Angle shaking hands.
6.The summer games relay rating:****
A great Six-man tag match to end Smackdown. Cena's team won at the end after Cena pinned Booker T.
