The only ones I know of on NG are halfbaked, uninteresting Sonic fanfic rpgs.
Too many characters with stale personalities and no development, boring and overused story, and subpar gameplay.
I forgot the titles, but even if I remembered, I certainly would not recommend them.

I keep seeing Gamestop commercials saying "Trade in your old DS Lite and get $70 towards a new DSi", but I'm not sure if I want to do that. I'd have to get rid of Final Fantasy VI Advance because the DSi doesn't have a GBA slot, and I don't know what that will do to my save files - I'm probably 30% through Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja and Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel, and on the final battle in Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and I definitely don't want to start from scratch.
So do you think the upgrade is worth losing one RPG and risking the save files on a few others?

Well, the save files are stored on the games themselves, so even if you decide to upgrade, your save files, logically should be just fine.

However, I advise you on not upgrading, unless the two cameras, SD card compatibility, online and what not is that big of a deal to you, and you don't seem like the type, but I don't know you like that.
No one had a problem with the DS ever, so the DSi is just a cash stunt, I wouldn't bother, I'll buy a camera if I want to take pictures, my Wii and my computer are both SD compatible, and both have internet capabilities, I don't care much for the downloadable content on the DSi and the lack of a GBA port doesn't help their progress.
I'll probably end up buying a DSi, if a sweet game comes out that is in DSi exclusive format (meaning it won't work on older models of the DS). So far the only DS game I would consider worth it would be a third installment to the Megaman ZX series, but there is no word on that.

But I digress, knux says keep you DS Lite.

Unless Nintendo decides to put something decent on the DSiWare store like gbc games, I wouldn't switch. I would love to be able to play Link's Awakening on the go again :)

Tales of Updates.

Tales of Graces won't be flex range, meaning, most likely no freerun, because of the 360 sidestep.
No news on localization for PS3 Vesperia.

I have no idea what that means, but the 70+ hours for ToG sounds pretty great!

So is anyone excited about Mass Effect 2? I wonder how much carries over if you use a save file from the first one.
And how about that Old Republic MMO coming out? XPlay said it will probably make people forget Star Wars Galaxies ever existed.

Oh hai guys. Long time no post here. Yeah.

I'm waiting for Cross Edge, I can't wait.
...well...I need to wait. A friend of mine is buying it as I don't have a PS3.
Here's the homepageand the wiki on it.

I know someone who's really into that game. Really into it. He's probably played all the different routes already. I'm not that interested in Mass Effect myself but I have played it before.
Didn't seem like my type of game.
I'll just watch him play it over his shoulder or something.

Thank you for the new sig pic. However, I prefer my current icon. That little white x and horizontal line represent the laces and soles of my sneakers, so I want to keep those details in the picture I use.

I'm in a bit of a quandary. I apologize if I've asked this before, but do you think I should hold on to games like Elder Scrolls IV and Fallout 3 if I don't expect to ever find time for them? I fear these games are actually too good; Once I sit down to play, I won't be satisfied with just a quick 20 minute session. Games this immersive make me want to play for hours on end, and I just can't do that when my boss thinks days off are a luxury reserved for the full-timers.

On second thought, the icon you made is designed to fit the 46x46 limit, whereas my sprite is actually 84x95 and shrunk to fit. I will give the new icon a try.

Id say grab a used copy Fallout 3 and only play it a few times a month. Say ona day you know you can devote 5 or 6 hours to tooling around. I play a MMORPG and its only touched once or twice on the weekend when I know ive got a few hours to put into lvling and goofinf off.

I already have a copy of Fallout 3, but I don't know when I can manage to play it. I haven't even downloaded the DLC. I don't remember where I left off, but it's a moot point. I apparently made some very unwise perk choices so I'd have to start from scratch.

Man dont belive that. I killed entire villages and made off fine. It all a matter of perception. Also not knowing where you left off isnt to hard cause al you gotta do is check objectives and use way points on your map. Trust me man if someone was able to play it at my AIT(military school) with ALLLLLLLLLL the bullshit they kept pulling they you should have no problem poping it in once or twice a month. And the DLC isnt even needed to enjoy the game. That for people who needed more after they had finished.

This is the thing i have said i have done

The star ocean 4 review!! GSSK Style

man oh man this is a piece of work right here, we got the usual main character, you know all up for justice, protecting people, and punishing the wicked...and worse he has a name so badass its generic!
Edge Maverick
the dumbest protagonist ever...fucking nimrod, he makes lloyd irving look like a brain surgeon.
the story begins with young edge talking about history, let me cut it through for you...world war 3 happened earth fucked up, and people decided to go to space so they can fuck it up again.
now after his little history lesson his childhood friend (god her voice makes me wanna shove cotton swabs in her mouth) comes in and they have a hearty talk, after so much talking and a fellow meeting with crimson mcbadass,(not his real name but it might as well be, he's better than edge anyways.)
and more lame plot bullshit, you are left to explore the planet aeos with edge and reimi...and so the journey begins..

the plot 5.5/10
this plot was balls, far worse then any star ocean game...if you need a good star ocean plot play the first one, this games plot fills in alot of blanks and answers some minor questions you have in star ocean but for exchange you get more questions you wanna ask....like the fucking alternate timeline shit.

characters 7/10
these characters are balls but better than the cast that star ocean 3 had...i mean edge is your typical good guy...you know justice!! friends!! protecting people!! killing lizard people!! yeah!! but some characters has a nice dark past you gotta have that right? right?
the dialog is terrible, i know you guys think im stretching it but trust me...and some of the cast's voices is just terrible, its like watching 4kids dubs...you know!! just fail!
i give it a 7 because they kinda grow on you after awhile plus change faize's name to montee is worth the laugh in the long run.

gameplay 9/10
this is where star ocean shines and boy does this game shine...this battle system is next to god, its the bi-product of taking mistakes in 3 and fixing it, now this is where my dick sucking comes in.
everything about this system is perfect, when you can link combo, you can change up to 6 moves together 3 on each trigger, and you have a max of 19 cp normally unlike 3's 15 cp...for you guys who dont understand, (you need cp to use special moves and special skills like critical hit for example)
and the special moves oh god, they are all awesome...its not like hey this move sucks!! no they all are good, its like square enix said man we fucked up 3 bad...yeah we gotta fix this.
and so they did....they took 3's formula and added some nice things to it, now you can use rush mode and blindsides, rush mode its like overlimit in tales games but with a good ring on it...you see every character has a rush gauge (enemies too) this gauge increases every time you attack, get attacked, or when your blindside charging, when the rush gauge maxes you can use rush mode which increases damage and makes you stagger proof.
blindsidesthe sneakiest badass thing you can do, this is when you wait for your enemy to target you, attack you, and then you pounce...if you catch a enemy attacking you while your blindside charging and they target you, you hit a direction and the jump button and your behind them, every hit for the next few hits is a critical hit though...be warned some enemies can blindside counter.
now on to beats this is short though beats only expand on blindsides which is beat strike and rush mode is beat burst..they raise your stats accordingly and they can do a number of things like -25% less mp use in rush mode you can only have one beat set up.
another thing to note is you can do these things: you can switch people in battle...so if 4 of your active characters are dead you can use the other 4...no game over until all is killed, you can change special moves in battle, you can cancel when the AI does a attack but still not magic spells. (fucking fail)
now onto the bonus boardunlike the bonus board this doesnt suck, but its a trick...unlike 3 you have to kill enemies a certain way to make it increase like killing enemies with all special moves to get purple...its 14 pieces max you can have on the board, and it links together so if you break it then you only lose half of it, which is a nice plus if you ask me.

difficulty 7/10
man this game is rape if you dont know what your doing, but if you use star ocean wits your fine but the story isnt too hard its the added content...gabriel celeste is harder than 3...just fucking hard.

A.I 6.5/10 i mean they are still dumb, and the enemy ai can be stupid, not as merciless as 3 but still bad...cant say much about this see for yourself.

graphics 8/10 the scenary in this game is beautiful and im not a graphics person, it makes you feel like your on a planet...and you can explore the whole thing...and the actual scenes in the game doesnt suck total ass either.

overview
this game is about average, if your a star ocean fan then its more than mediocre and several steps away from master piece its a good game especially when you invent stuff but if you have zero-tolerance for crappy plots, predictable outcomes, and bad dialoging then play it for the battle system and content...its my review, hate it, love it, burn it, kill it...goodnite peoples im vanishing.

Ok, sure. My favorite RPGs are the Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy series (you know, the basics), The World Ends With You, Tales Of ... series, KOTOR series, Fable 1 (not 2), and .hack series and Maplestory. But my most favored RPG is Kingdom Hearts.
