M&M

redruM and Risu watch the door, Risu climbs half way up the wall in order to surprise the soldiers that come through. Telik hacks the keycode of the mech, Random watches his back. The tanks turn around and start shooting, redruM jumps out of the way as the bullets zip past him. The mech door opens, Random jumps inside. He grabs the steering wheel, similar to a planes. The mech runs foward, shooting at the tanks. Everyone else piles into the jeep, with Telik driving. They drive towards the door, Random destroys both tanks. He pulls down a lever, and the mech leaves the ground, he pushes forward, over the door. He sees the soldiers below him, staring in fear, they start shooting at him. Telik hacks the door from the other side, the door begins to open. Random descends, and kills many of the gaurds. The team follows, running over a few themselves, red shoots one down as they speed off.

So your asking me to make your bike faster? And stronger? When you asked for the bike, I just changed your bike to streetbike, i'm not making any more changes. I thought you've been playing RPGs for 9 years? Exactly which ones have you played?

1)Hey just guesing...but I guess levels only go up if through battles right?

2) Did you read my Risu thingies I gave that link to ya for? ^_^ You dont have to if ya don't wanna since I know people say they'd rather not read stories. But if ya did how did ya like it?

3) Are we playing D&D and m&m's at the same time?

Just wondering, because at times it seems you've never played with people before, asking for things any DM worth his dice wouldn't give you.

Nope, good RPing and generally coming in useful help too.

Ya, I read it, interesting, and not the interesting people say when they don't like it, but want to be polite.

3) Are we playing D&D and m&m's at the same time?

Yes, i'm gunna go write a D&D installment right now.

Actually we never aimed at dicerolling. We rather put a great value on storytelling. My players and my GMs always look on the atmosphere of the character rather than on his possibilities or ammount of cash.

This time i just asked to change the name. Don't panic so much. If u ever would like me to master a game of any of those systems (but Vampire or Cpunk would suit me best) just say. Maby when we will finish betatesting M&M i'd try to think bout some nice story for one of those systems. I only wonder if my english would be sufficient to make my story understandable.

Aah, that explains it then. You were all about RPing, not game balance. Well in my games, we have a healthy mix of both.

Response to RPG club 2004-05-10 16:24:56

Thats good since we play D&D-like system. World of Darkness bases on RP same is Cthulhu and those are the systems we tend to play more. When we want to have some real action with a massive ammount of fights we play Cyberpunk 2020 :)

Anyway, cant wait till next story of M&M. :)

Hey ya know I RP that way too...but only off site.^_^ I do however make great RPs. I even post them as stories if they're interesting...still go by the "no one too powerful" rule though...if its a fight at least.

Nice job Red. It took you a while, but you got there eventually! I'm glad you did something enjoyable, especially after the loss of your bike. Here's hoping the heartless bastard who stole it comes to justice. FUCKING THIEF!

Thanks FIGMENT. I have some good news, though. Many of the people who work at the place my bike got stolen from know me well and seem to like me. One of them phoned me and said they were all going to pitch in and buy me a new one. I can't believe it, that's so kind of them. Perhaps my faith in the human race isn't altogether lost.

So who's got next weeks list? I'll send Afterburner an email, and if I get no reply or he replies saying he can't do it, I suppose the next person in line is Recon. Or we could elect someone to act in Afterburners abscence. Thoughts?

Well, if Afterburner has indeed left us (Which I feel rather guilty for) I think we should elect someone to take on Council Member duties in his absence. I nominate CHEESEGOD. He's been a huge part of this club for so long, it's about time he got some higher authority to have a say in what goes on around here.

At 5/10/04 08:48 AM, unh0ly wrote: Im looking for some good RPG on PC. Anyone has some ideas? I have a high-end configuration so everything should work.

Have you tried The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind? It's an excellent game, and the pc version practically adds a whole nother game with all the available mods to download.

You share what you got there, 1 dirtbike, all ammo used you get back, and the jeep is fixed.

Response to RPG club 2004-05-10 16:37:33

Hm... Risu would still be better without the dirtbike right? (She's very fast at her top running all-fours speed but can't run as long as a dirtbike could run before having to rest I know...in my RPs anyhoo... but in this one how fast did you let my little Risu become?

And I agree with having Cheesegod as a council member. Heck I thought he was the leader xD

I also dont think that being too powerfull is good. But i know most ppl like to play with uncommon character with good possibilities. Its not that he or she is GOD, its just he/she is better than 70% of the normal Solos/Vampires/whatever.

D&D

Slayer approaches the man, "I think....we should get our friends....". They make their way to the door, they open it. A hallway greets their eyes, they walk down the hallway, their pace quickening, a stairway, and another door, they try the door, a small room with a fireplace and an overstuffed couch. They turn around, the man is standing there, with a look of tired sadness on his face. "I strongly suggest, that you check in."

There are too many people out there that want to just be the best... I could understand if there were a reason...like leveling up in a RP like this one... But never just "being" the powerful one in a straight text RPG. The way I see it all characters should balence out...all should have flaws...all have their good and bad points. But alotta people skip flaws and bad points...they want everyone to accept them as the most powerful just because they want to be the powerful one...unles making a story then that type of RP is boring and no fair.
