If ever there were a sure fire sign you have too much time on your hands, that would be it.
Why do people need to create alt accounts like that? Is it just to mess with my head?

How bout right how someone with sunglasses got to be a gladiator.
Ken Hidaka has always had special talent for knowledge and a very inquisitive nature, and it has usually gotten him into and sometimes out of unusual situations.
At the age of 8, Ken learned enough about computers to build one inside of an armband. When he was 13, Ken found a book written in an unusual language and, with the help of his micro-computer, he translated it and realized that he discovered the journal of a great Black Mage.
Ken learned how to use magic, but didn't always know how to control it. He accidentally froze his mother's cat at the age of 15, and was expelled from College University at the age of 19 for blowing up the Dean's car.
Ken now seeks to find someone who can help him control his powers and put them to good use.

All right i can work with that idea.
*Background story of Sigma*
Sigma has always worn sunglasses but that is because he was born with an unusual eye disorder that makes him very sensitive to any type of bright lights. whenever any type of bright light gets into his eyes he becomes blind for a while. Doctors and his parents discovered he had this problem when he was 4 years old. The doctors said it was too late and that sigma would be blind for life. So then his parents got him a pair of dark sunglasses and had him trained to live life as a blind person. But after wearing the sunglasses and blocking out all light his vision came back to him when he was 10. Once he got his sight back he told his parents and they went to a doctor for an examination. and the doc said "his sight really came back but in order for him to see he has to wear those sunglasses all the time". After that trip t9o the doctors his parents took him to see gladiators tournament. Sigma became very interested in ancient combat and his parents noticed that and bought him a short sword since he was still a child. Sigma practiced everyday and he studied a lot about gladiators as well. After 3 years of learning and practiceing on his own his parents noticed that he became quite skilled on his own without any proper triaining. So his parents took him to a school for gladiators so he could train and get better. When they talked to the headmaster of the school Sigma's access was denied because the wearing of sunglasses would be an to all gladiators. But the head master was willing to make a deal with Sigma. He would allow sigma to attend the training academy if he was able to get first place in the junior devision of the gladiator tournament. Sigma accepted the terms and went home to train until the tournament. Before the day of the tournament his parents got him a pair of swords (double blade) and a chain shirt for the tournament. Sigma went to the tournament with his full battle armor determined to win. Sigma defeated all of his opponents with ease. After winning first place he train at the gladiator academy for 4 years and he graduated with top honors. he was the youngest to master the gladiators fighting style and he improved on using his double blades. At age 17 after the graduation he was given chainmail armor and he became a mercenary but he still used everything he learned in the academy. Now he just travels around looking for places to work and fighting tournaments to enter so he can improve his skills.
Let me know if anything is wrong with this.

I thought a double sword ment two swords. sorry about that. My mistake. Make it two swords. Sorry again. I guess double sword ment double-bladed sword. I'm such an idiot.

Don't sweat it, i'll put two swords on your character, what kind of swords? I'm guessing longswords, the most common type of sword.

I don't think gladiators use longswords( if my history is correct). I'll go with two bastard swords if thats fine. I know the range is a little shorter but the blades are a stronger. I would choose claymore but that is a two-handed blade and it is too heavy to weild as a one-handed blade. (I would know this from experence)

Doesn't that seem like an obvious weakness?

Historically gladiators don't wear sunglasses, this is a fantasy game, and I don't think they used bastard swords either. And melee weapons don't have reach.
