well good night everyone. i love you all. and im sorry if my extremely bad mood today rubbed off on you people whom i love so much. see, logistically, it makes sense that im not really deserving off all the bad shit you guys gave me. hate is a very strong word, and if i was truly an ass, i would get that word used with my name a whole lot more then it is. actually, in the 3 months ive been an active member of the bbs, ive never once been flamed out like i was tonight.
therefore, i can be concluding that since this is not an everyday thing, it in in fact not a part of my character, and merely a temporary, 24 hour flaw in judgement. so im going to go grab a drink or two, and go hop into bed and tomorrow we can all love each other agian, and forget my emo-ness. because emo's suck. i dont wana be an emo.

The real emos are the ones who cut themselves but dont go show it off, and they arent little wrist scratches, but actually deep scar looking cuts, and they didnt just bleed this tiny bit. And the real ones dont wear the black clothes and tight pants, those ones are attention whores.

please PLEASE can we not turn this into a discussion about emo and what it means. It will last forever and noone will be any better off. I feel supremely confident that a quick search will find a suitable thread to waste your hours away.
I just realised, if this is nominations, do we have an actual vote at the end or is this really a vote with everyone being available for a vote? Seems a bit silly to have this as only the first round. Also, when does this end/ what happens when it does?
We're not using Emo in the literal sense, we're using it in the implied, common misconception sense. That being that "emo" refers to people who bitch, complain and whine that nothing ever goes their way and get annoyed when people don't help them they way they hope to be helped.
If it was the literal sense... I'd probably win. (Those who know the stories know... those who don't, well, I don't <3 you enough to tell you)

Uhm, I never asked to be helped at all. I never got annoyed of people not helping me.
And I wasn't bitching, nor complaining about anything.
All I did was state that I recently had surgery and that I may not work to my full potential.

Possibly, Just start making dumb posts, and posting pics of your cut wrists, there the easier awards to get :)
Don't feel bad if you get nom'ed for a couple of bad categories. If you are just starting to post here in the forum, you probably got shafted with the "I'm new, and don't quite understand how the community works" poison, which in turn earned you a few of the lesser liked awards. It's most likely not you, just your timing for coming over (or maybe it is, but either way, it takes time to fit in). Don't less this scare you away.
And for the regs who probably deserve awards but were forgotten for some crazy reason, I wouldn't feel bad. These award things are usually forgotten by a week after, and life goes back to normal. And a lot of it depends on the posting habits of the past month or two, so a slight absence due to school or work or something like that can result in no noms or fewer noms than wanted. For example, I totally forgot about TrueDarkness, and I feel bad about it, but he should know and we all know he's a great kid either way.
And there's nothing wrong with being nominated for a less-liked category. I nominated Rudy for Attention-Whore, even though I have absolutely nothing against the kid. In fact, I think he's a great guy who has produced many great threads on the forum, including that comprehensive tablet thread which we know and love.
These awards things always get people offended. Winning or losing, its no big deal. You might be thinking I'm taking it easy because I've been nominated a few times already, but really, we're not here for money or fame. Just some ego stroking and some elbow nudges, with a little fun along the way. So relax, have fun, and don't get angry about your noms.
