Oddly enough, I'm not sure if you were ever officially in Anime Club, massacre_kid. Apparently you showed some initiative on page 1055 by listing your 5 favorite anime series without having to ask but, unless that picture of Yoh Asakura was your character selection, you didn't choose a representative. Whether you were in or not, you're welcome to re-apply.

Speaking of 4Kids dubs, how the heck is Monkey D. Luffy's last name supposed to be pronounced? The butchered version of One Piece that's aired on Fox and Cartoon Network says his name as if it's spelled 'Loofy', and that just doesn't sound right when I read the manga in Shonen Jump.

I hear you but hey, in China they call him Monkey D. Roof. XD But I guess it has to do with the mouth flaps or something but yes, it does not sound right at all.

And does anyone remeber that flash Noc linked to showing a robot gutting Luffy and such, making him kid friendly. It had the lines of "Oy, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY! I'm Shanks, the friendly chimney sweep!" And saying what other animes 4Kids was going to fuck up next. Anyone remember it?
