I compare Paranoia Agent to a moive that is just as messed up as it called Something Blue or Blue Something. It's about an actress who used to be a pop star and is now having illusions which lead to murder and paranoia. It almost is more confusing then PA.

Okay, I just finished watching El Hazard! The Magnificient World!

This anime is truly spectiacular: It is more of an action anime than another of my favorites (Gokudo), and has quite an interesting plot. (not going into, because wants to finish this disk of Alternative World before hitting the hay) One thing that caught my eye near the end, however, is that the old man with the second Ifurita has the same power as Makoto. I believe that this man IS Makoto, and that the Ifurita IS his Ifurita, but that they were Makoto and Ifurita after a dimension shift (which would have occurred after the Seventh Night,). However, they didn't want to tell Makoto, for some strange reason. This is just a hypothesis, though, and I can't be sure that it's correct.

All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this anime, as well as its sequel (El-Hazard! The Alternative World!) and the parallel (Wanderers of El-Hazard).

There have been a couple of people selling the Inuyasha series online. Supposedly factory wrapped and everything. I was discussing this in another forum, and someone said that that was impossible, as the Inuyasha series isn't complete yet. Is this true?

I've seen all four series, and they're among my favorites. You're always in for a good time when the main hero finds out he resembles a kidnapped lesbian princess. The one thing that left me confused was about the powers that everyone got on the way from Earth to El-Hazard. All 4 series show that Makoto can use ancient El-Hazard technology, Fujisawa has super-strength as long as he's sober, and Jinnai can speak the Bugrom language, but it's Nanami who isn't clear. I think in The Magnificent World her power is to see through the Shadow Tribe's disguises, and in either The Alternate World or The Wanderers she could speak Bugrom just like her brother, but I don't know what Nanami's special ability was in the other two.

Yes, the fourth series was El-Hazard 2, a continuation of The Magnificent World. The Wanderers had 26 TV episodes and The Alternative World had 13 OAV episodes, so I'm pretty sure the 4 OAV episodes of El Hazard 2 were meant to supplement the 7 OAV episodes of The Magnificent World.

BE WARNED: if it's cheap, especially on Ebay or on Amazon's used list it's almost always a bootleg. I do reccommend DeepDiscountDVD.com for cheap anime DVDs and just about any movie. As far as short series's go I'd have to say Kenshin OVA, Lain, or maybe Gantz. Then again it all matters on your own tastes so you may not like any of these. To everyone reading this I'd like to reccommend Wings of Honneamise if you haven't already seen Gainax's old glory. I have not seen the film but have heard it is amazing by most people (then again this was the most expensive anime film to create to this day.)
