okay Renewman, I looked up the definition of Heterosexual and I didn't understand it at all. it says," someone having sexual orientation to persons of the opposite sex" so, what does that mean? you can't hang around with guys because you get too annoyed or something? please, fill me in.

I only played the came Guilty gear: midnight Carnival(not sure which number), and couldnt get over how manly "her" face was.

Has any one here ever played Gungrave for PS2? I personally didnt like it. here is my review on it, but first I should mention that its a third person shooter.

First off, I thought the game was completely lacking in longevity. I was able to beat it in under an hour, and there are only 6 levels. The controls were a little sub-par for my tastes. Grave's mobility sucks. He jogs as opposed to runs when you hold the run button, and he turns left and right ultra slow. there are only 3 attacks in the game. 1. Shoot, 2. swing coffin, 3) demolition shot. the demolition shot is like a special attack. The better you do during the game, the more of them you unlock, but there are only 3 to unlock. I personally dont mind the controls(except for the mobility issues), but it really feels like it's lacking something.

while the game follows the anime, it doesnt follow it that closely. I thought that was cool because I dont want to play the axact same thing that I watch every night. I did however have a problem with the final stage. In the anime, Harry mcDowell kills Big Daddy after taking over Millenion, his Mafia based organization. In the game big daddy is the second to last boss, who was keept alive, and mutated into what looks like a smaller version of the final boss of Final Fantasy 9. And while we're on the topic of bosses, I should add that the bosses in the game have nothing on the superiors in the anime, I would have much rather fought them.

I thoght the graphics were a nice release from the 100 hour Disgaea: Hour of Darkness binge I was on.

All in all though, I felt the game was worth a 2/5 rating. It's fun at first, but it gets old quick. I recommend renting it and nothing more to those who havent played it yet.

Hey Dudeman... can I pick on ya for a few mins here? I'm not gonna be mean or anything but I'd like to have an in depth disscussion with you about anime. You're the one that said you like mainly serious stuff right? I mean Serious stuff is cool but what about the other stuff? Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Bleach, Ah! My Goddess... Also define serious. I mean an anime can be serious with some comedy elements in it. So talk to me about this here.

For the record, I like about every anime I watch. Some of it is strange but I like it all for the most part.

Honestly I don't find very many things funny especially in anime where the japanese's humor isn't really THAT funny but sometimes it can be just very rarely. I like in depth animes that have thoughts and ideas introduced in them as well as something that is a little unpredictable. I like to try and look at things differently after watching an anime not just watching something that has little plot or character design such as....o forget it you already know the examples I'd give.

ok I thought long and hard about this... I don't see many that I don't like. But if I HAD to pick one I'd probably say Cosprayers. It was just kinda cheesy... The reason why I don't say Yugioh, Pokemon, Beyblade or any of those is because it was for a certin audience and it reached that audience. Another one I didn't really care for much is FLCL... yea I know you guys are gonna shoot me but it just wasn't my style I guess. But over all I like all the anime I see. They all have their good elements.

Cosprayers sucked hard... Each ep was 15 minutes, I saw maybe 1 or 2 eps and found it to be pointless... It was 15 minutes of forced and unintersting fanservice. Each girl was prancing around in their bathingsuit thinking they were ready to fight evil... Pure stupidity even down to the seiyuus... The main character had such a friggin' whiny voice.

I found the game quit lame myself. The graphics were ok but for how short it was and the controlls just made it fall. I played the demo and got bored of that. And thats was just the first level. I liked how it dident follow the anime as closely for same reasons as you. Like FMA the game It follows the story line like the one you see on T.V. Exactly the same from even little bits lof the show in it .It likes Fable fable aint related to any anime or anything but its really short. But the grphics kick major ass. So pritty much everything you said I agre with.

And I still dont know what Cosprayers is about Some one please tell me!

Well, I haven't posted in a while, so I figure I will now.

New anime I've seen:

1) GANTZ; aweome show. I have watched the first two volumes of it on DVD, and have purchased the next 3 volumes, but have yet to watch them (damn summer homework). So far, I would give it an 8/10

2) Elfen Lied; also awesome show. A friend of mine gave me the first episode, and I will watch the next two episodes soon. It's probably the most gory anime I've ever seen, but that's not saying much; I have not seen much anime. Also an 8/10 so far.

3) Devil Lady; I saw the first two episodes... bleh. It's rather boring. Hopefully it will get better. 5/10

And for manga, I have not purchased any new series, but I got volume 6 of Negima a while ago... and volume 8 of The Get Backers (awesome manga).

So, yeah, I'm still alive. :o

I just finished watching the entire Berserk TV Series and I loved it to the max except for one thing... The ending, the ending felt sloppy but it also made me feel as if this was a "test" to see if the Berserk Series would flow and it sure as hell did. But fuck, could the last Episode been anymore shitty? I’m probably saying this because I want to know what happened and what will happen. Bah, I shouldn’t have started this Series, now it’s making my curiosity run wild.

It seems, from watching the first Episode I have come to a small conclusion that there may be some type of sequel, I mean "Guts" is killing demons that hold the brands and, from what I can tell the Series is played from his past starting from his present which is in fact the first Episode.

Again, amazing everything, it was great - also, did anyone whom has seen it predict an apocalyptic ending like I did? It was starting to become very obvious, but I hunger for more. =/

My copy of Disgaea is broken thanks to my pissworm brothers who cant put cds back in there cases so I'm stuck playing Simpsons hit and run(not that that has anything to do with anime)

well thats about it, I'm gone for the day.

Yes, it is that good and you should watch it. I downloaded the entire Ogg series in only 2 days - it's very well made and I hope they make more, I've been told by many people that they're looking into that. Things take amazing turns, things that only few people could predict I was even surprised at most times. But the ending, ARG it pisses me off so much because it is unfinished.

There will almost assuredly not be a second season of Berserk but the manga still isn't finished so if you want to know what happens then read it. Also I'd read the manga from the beginning because it's a little bit different from the anime. Lastlly

*****SORT OF KINDA A SPOILER*****BERSERK*****BEGIN:

No freakin duh Berserk season 1 is all a flash back episode one is all that's happened so far in the "present"

******SORT OF KINDA A SPOILE******BERSERK*******END

Even though I like Berserk I'd have to disagree with you about everything being good about it from the beginning because the creator didn't know what he wanted to do with the anime so e has you go through a ton of meaningless battles with the Band of the Hawk. O and one more thing if you have the official american version you missed out on about 3 minutes of scenes but I just tought you might want to know, they aren't important or graphic scenes but for some reason they aren't included in the american version then again this is the same for lots of other animes I hear.

Well, the only thing that's amazing in GANTZ is the animation. But the I was really dissapointed with the ending. One of the worst endings ever (after Elfen Lied). And, as someone has already mentioned, the characters are all complaining and whining. Every time they off an alien, there's half an hour of emotional breakdown's and crying etc.
