I'm sorry, but I thought the original Pokemon up until when charmander evolved into charmelon was a great series. The original was quite good, then it went down the tubes. As for Yu-Gi-Oh that was good unless they got into the God Cards, then it died.

Personal preference is the main fact here. I personally hated both the manga and anime for Hellsing, but there are others who love it. Qualitywise I'd say it was pretty good, but I just didn't care for that series. -_-;;

In other news, I'm on ep 104 in One Piece. It's a Great series and kinda addictive. I wonder what new Devils Fruit powers will appear in future eps? So far I like the Mera Mera Fruit the best. The flame powers it grants kick ass.

Yeah, I love it when n00bs try and act like they know it all. I have all 51 eps and can confidently say that it pretty much ends there. Yes, there is a bit of a cliff hanger, but that may be dealt with by the movie. I hope so, I'm curious to know how it will work out.

full metal panic fumoffu was great....^^...i loved all 15 episodes...all light hearted episodes w/o much plot...but i loved it anyways....

I'm quite behind in Naruto(though now i have the time to catch up after finals...yay)...and i'vew been keeping up with Bleach(how many planned episodes are there?)....anything else out there recently that's been good? Elfen Lied was a good half a season series which i enjoyed immensely, so i definitely recommend that!...^^

I caught the last few hours of Otakon last year while on summer study at Penn State. I'm probably not going to be able to make it this year unless I subject myself to 3 weeks of work and torture at another summer study program at Maryland. But here's the catch, the program ends on August 19th... I'd be in Maryland and expected to take the train home.

For Otakon 2006, who know...

Does anyone know when there will be an anime convention in central Ohio? I can't afford to drive to other states until I can pay for gasoline and a hotel room, so my best bet is to hope for a local con.

Barnes and Nobles: never would have believed it until i bought Hellsing on monday. Also at westland mall, there is a shop called GK Animania. look at the title. and there is this online shop, if you just type in something like animearigato, and maybe add a .com at the end, and you'll get there. found that site by accident.

they've got a nice variety, and also if you look in the teen section at the end, they got some others too, like DN Angel, but all the good stuff is in the sci fi section
