What's wrong with TV anime? It's the only way to get free anime, and I'm not about to start ordering anime fullscale on iO. Besides, what's "mind stimulating"? That could be from as complex as a show like "Case Closed" to as simple as a show like "SpongeBob SquarePants".

First, Kenshin, lots of filler episodes, you don't see a plot until about 2/3 of the way through it however I do think that near the end it was somewhat enjoyable. Second, Naruto, very popular with little kids in Asia and with teenagers here in America, lots of useless fight scenes, the closest thing to DBZ without becoming DBZ. To address the attack that I said you guys weren't anime fans, you guys are really just a bunch of fanboys for crappy anime that made it over here somehow. O yes and how is it that you think I'm arrogant? For your comment about some of you liking mind stimulating anime and some disliking it, from what I've read of this post nobody likes anime with a good plot that makes you think or philosophical ideas. I've seen a good chunk of Naruto and it honestly made me want to kill myself. However I think Bebop is tolerable but honestly I didn't like it that much (yes I've seen all of Bebop).

I give credit to Case Closed for being a little difficult to guess what's goin to happen next but honestly if you want to know what's wrong with TV anime just look on TV. They can't show anything good on TV without completely butchering it. About your question about what "mind stimulating" means: something that gets you to think about something in a different way or possibly inspires you. Something that makes you think (sort of like Shakespeare and Dicken's novels.) Spongebob doesn't fall into this category.

Ok, everything in the world could be philosophized however it is those philosophies that change us that allow us to become changed. Another thing, Spongebob isn't very funny and you seem to think it has the beautiful simplicity of that of a child's mind, I can see this however it does not change me ata ll nor does it make me grow and change as far as my values and thought process goes.
