i tihnk its alright. this does look like a good movie, and I don't think they'd be selling it for no less then 30 bucks

hehe, finally a movie that IS about final fantasy and not that other that came out that had absolutely nothing to do with the series...

I've decided that I'm going to hault the votes when Inu comes back and gives his top 10. Until then everyone who hasn't given their top 10 favs, feel free to do so.

At 5/12/05 05:53 PM, majorblood wrote: What is Ranma 1/2 about tink?

**Some may concider these spoilers. However I do not. Everything that I mention here is clear within the first episode of the anime.**
It's about a boy named Ranma who turns into a girl whenever he is hit with cold water (and turns back to a boy with hot water). This happens because while training at a a place called Jusenkyo he fell in to the "spring of drounded girl". Basicly it's a martial arts comedy. He is supposed to marry a girl who he doesn't exactly get along with. There are also others who fall into the cursed springs of Jusenkyo. It's pretty good and I recomend it. And yes it's by Rumiko Takahashi, the same creator of Inuyasha.

Correction, I believe it was on TV in america a long time ago. I never saw it but I believe Kouga used to watch it if I remember correctly.

At 5/12/05 06:25 PM, majorblood wrote: Ranma is not Done yet?!
goddamn how long has it been running?
and I it is made by the same guy that made inuyasha that means inuyasa will never end.

LOL yes the anime is finished and I think the majority of the DVDs have been realesed in the US if not all. There are 7 seasons and the cost is about $90-$120 per season. More if you attempt to buy the DVDs seprately. The anime however, never completely finishes, much like the Inuyasha series. However if you buy the manga you would be able to read the ending (I'm guessing since I've not read the end yet) They're up to vol 30 out of 36 of the manga. I recomend it for sure.
Also, did you guys know that the Inuyahsa manga isn't finished yet in Japan. I've heard that Rumiko Takashi said that she has lots of room and ideas for more stuff to happen so she doesn't plan on quitting anytime soon. (I heard this months ago so I'm not sure about now) Inuyasha is her longest running manga so far. Used to be Ranma 1/2 was.

Advent Children Release Date Announced

Thank you than you thank you thank you thank you!
I've been wondering for quite a while when it was going to be released. It seems like I was just wondering and then found this post. It's as if you were reading my mind! : D

On another note, I'd like to thank those who helped with spam and rule breakers in my absence yesterday. You know who you are and I appreciate it.
I may have to wipe my computer and start all over again. It's been acting really crappy lately. So if I have to do that then I'll be absent for a day or 2 or 3 while I get everything back to normal. Maybe longer depending on how much I have to save off of my computer. There's not much space left on it meaning there's alot of stuff I need to do something with. Those of you who know me, know what I mean. Anyhow, I have to get to starting dinner so I better go. Later guys. ^_^

Well, I've just started watching the Japanese version of One Piece, and I must say I enjoy it greatly ^_^ Luffy reminds me of a cross between Naruto and Lupin. He's got a Lupin-ish build, and has the whole "Pirate King" thing going on, but his demeanor and the whole wanting to be the greatest (Insert title here) thing is very much like Naruto. Over-all I'd say it a great series so far.

Nope. Sorries Tink, but I haven't seen that anime yet. I think I saw it at Bosco's yesterday when I was checking out their selection on anime, though.

Hmm that's strange. I just had deja vu as if I've typed this before...

Dude, wanna know what's even stranger? I think that there's an anime called "Deja Vu". lol
Or maybe I'm thinking of that old Gameboy Colorâ„¢ game, "Deja Vu".

Oh yeah. I was watching that HM: Accident movie on the the NG front page and started thinking about the later remakes of the game that came out for N64, PS2, ect. I realized that the art in those later games are kinda anime style. Then it dawned on me: Harvest Moon is basically a rural dating sim. Odd, huh?

Btw. Kouga, is it too much to ask that you try to respond to your emails in a more timely manner?

And sorry everyone, about me not posting very often as of lately. I chanced upon a few very nice 'adult' doujinshi. ^^

Oh, sooo much "reading" material to review, and art to critique. I also, found some cute anime smilies. </glee>

Actually, that's an interpretation of Murphy's Law. The law itself states that every possible outcome of a situation has an equal probability of occuring and, thus, each one does occur in this or any alternate universe. For example, somewhere in the multiverse, there's a me who didn't bother to correct you.

Or a mr_trivia who answered the question I asked about Urusei Yatsura being as good the rest of Takahashi's works.

Anyhow, I got vol. 2-4 of Negima today. : D Now the hard part is trying NOT to read them all at once so I'll be ok until it's time for me to get more manga. I believe there's only 8 vols. total of the Negima manga. However there's supposed to be 52 episodes total to the anime. That seems like alot to me. I suppose it's safe to assume that the manga and the anime are going to be alot different. Sucks that I have to wait like 3 or 4 months between the manga release dates.

Hmm I don't know now. I could have sworn that I read somewhere that it was only 8 vol long but looked again and can't find the information so it's possible that I'm mistaken.

Up to episode 15 in the anime now, and I must say....

***SPOILERS***

*****Zoe my gosh, the spoilers. Hide the women and children*****

I'm greatly disappointed how they cut and altered Library Island. The 2-part episode was completely butchered and skewed from it's manga counterpart.

I'm reading that part right now.

- Everyone knew Negi was gonna be fired, and they didn't even mention the rumor of being split up and sent back

>.> I'm wondering how the episode worked then...

- When they were being chased up the stairs, they didn't have to answer the questions to get past

Was Twister still involved? That was the best part damnit.

****The spoilers are gone now, it's safe to go outside once more****

**END SPOILERS**

Manga > anime. Again.

I agree... when I watched the first few episodes of the anime I was a bit disapointed. Only one series where the anime is better than the manga and that is Excel Saga. (At least from what I've seen so far)
Now I shall get back to reading my manga.... See ya.

Its name comes from the Okinawan word, "champuru" (e.g. goya champuru), which means to mix or blend.

Okay, dude. Remember how a day or two back I
mentioned getting a phone call? (It was in my post
about bad news.)

Anywho, the phone call was from my ISP. Apparently
ol' "Dumbass_Bill" is still at large and they haven't
been able to shut him down. In other words, there
might be a possibility that he could have been telling
the truth about being able to avoid ISPs. But that is
not exactly at the top of my list of concerns.

Now, I normally wouldn't bother you with something
this trivial, but I'm willing to make an exception
this time. Ya see, I received another e-mail from
Bill. (Geez, I really should have kept all of his
email addresses blocked.) But this time he kept his
rant pretty short. Basically he said that he is very
close to "launching his attack on the next root".

What has me concerned about this is that he provided
some examples of what he's planning to spam the BBS
with.

I'm not going to forward his email to you this time
cause of how graphic the pics were. I've attached
some of the least graphic of the bunch to give you an
idea of how serious this is.

Now there isn't much my ISP can do to shut him down,
press charges, ect, unless they know where Bill
actually is located.

That's where you come in. I need you to help me out
with finding as much info as possible about Bill.
Like if anyone in the AAHC or Anime Club knows Bill,
or knows of anyone who knows him. Or anything about
where Bill lives.

Just try to not mention this e-mail. There's not much
reason to be telling everyone about it, since everyone
is sick and tired of Bill. OK?

What's the matter, AG? Don't tell me you honestly can't figure out why they all believe that you are that Bill fella'.

I'll give ya my opion on that subject:

From the sounds of it, this Bill fella' is nothin' more than the alt account of someone who has it out for this club. Now, the person who made it probably did so to avoid major confrontation with the mods here.
Of course, if the person is smart, they'd use proxies to cover up their IP address. An' if they're smart enough to do that, then they're probably also smart enough to continue using their original account in order to create an "alibi".

An' that's where you come in, AG. You must have signed-up for an account around the same time as Bill. Then you must have joined the club. An' if you're anything like you were when we first met, you probably said some stupid newbie type shit when you joined. This could easily lead people to think that you, yourself, are nothing more than an alternate account.

If that is indeed the case here, then my guess is that a lot of the people here were by that time looking for a 'scapegoat' to place the blame on. So who better to accuse than the "suspicious" newbie?

Whatever the case is, the very idea that the person who created the Bill alternate account, would go and make an entirely new account to use as their 'main account', is quite absurd.

The only thing more absurd than that is accusing a dope like you, AG, of being an alternate account of that Bill fellow. You barley even understand how to use proxies, so I don't think that someone like you could even begin to pull off something like that. Despite the fact that it's so easy.
