I'm pretty sure this is the explanation: He doesn't call himself King because he still believes that his Father lives. Brolly is a full-blooded saiyan too, but in the movies (Which doesn't happen in the timeline.)

why? always/most of the time in the anime movies/ova the timeline is different (aka: dragonball z/gwing: heero landed as gwing custom instead of gwing unit 01 in the endless waltz)
No, I'm saying the DBZ Movies never happen, because it's impossible if you think about it. For instance in the 1st Brolly movie, Young Gohan(I mean really young) is with Trunks and the gang. That's impossible because the only time Trunks wasn't in his time, was when he was training and fighting Cell. Then he left to his time for good.

then gwing endless waltz never did happen bcoz in there heero landed as gwing custom and not as gwing unit 01? (not to mention they all landed in their custom mobile suit and not as their original mobile)
