Eh? You've got Blockbuster in Florida don't you? They have them, the whole series. [At least mine does.]

Speeking of Blockbuster, I'm glad they have finally made a section for anime, but think it needs to be a whole lot bigger. I can't survive of Evangelion (movie 1 and 2) GOlden Boy and DBZ. I need alot more than that! I have made plenty of suggestions for more anime and they said they will see what they can do. I already know that my local Blockbuster is getting a few Inuyasha DVDs soon. but they need more!

Is Berserk good!
I was just getting some oll school Dreamcast games last week and picked up The sword of the Berserk Guts rage for it and it kicks ass ( you ever play it). the other day I realized it was a manga and anime and since you have them can you tell me about it. I think I just might get into this anime XD.

Ah yes, the mighty Dreamcast. Saddly, I haven't. I'm broke all the time, and my rich ass pop disapproves of anything to do with videogames, the ass.

the other day I realized it was a manga and anime and since you have them can you tell me about it.

I said that my Blockbuster has them, not me.

I think I just might get into this anime XD.

You should. Guts with his dragonslayer sword in action is a beautiful site to behold.

Congrats on 900

Anyway is anyone else watching the Ah My Godess TV series? If you are, aren't you a little dissapointed at the storyline? I mean it's almost the exact same as the one in the OVA. Aside from that little slip up, I am enjoying the animation quality and wonderful VO though.

Oh and I just saw GitS 2 : Innocence...
:/

After nearly a year of absence, I'm back. I greatly apologize to you all for being out so long. Wonko is most likely the only one here who remembers me. I was attending the University of Maryland to where I was offered a student exchange trip. I accepted, and was allowed to study at Toudai(Tokyo University) and Tohoku University. While there I stayed the first half of my trip with a Japanese family and rented an apartment for the other half. It was an incredible experience. I hope you all will accept me back to the club!

I liked the GitS movie but the gay tanks and long ass talking scenes ruined the show for me.

Are you kidding me? The tank in the first movie is awsome. I mean, do you see a tank like that around, one that can cloak it's self, jump, pick up things, and so much more. And that 'talking' is what made the movie, what gave it it's story. You make me sad...

GitS: Innocence was absolutly amazing in sound, animation, and direction. But it was just over my fucking head. When dealing with the stuff that film dealt with, I'd prefer it in print so I can understand the concepts better. It's just when I watch something, I want to get what I see, without having to decrypt any plot mechanics or philisohical concepts. Call me unapreciative but I just don't like this type of movie.

On a slightly lighter note...

k' dude, you've never read Sohen Jump?!? No Go's in that one.

Comic party, or comipa for short is a manga bout' this kid 19 year old, who draws doujinshi, it's comedy of sorts. D N Angle is about this kid who trasnmorems into the shadow theif Dark when ever his D N A reacts to love or some other strong emotions. Yeah that's aobut it, Shonen Jump's really popular in america, in fact it's one of the only manga magazines in america.

Great find Noctroler, that's a awsome short. I just love how towards the end Kagome is screaming Inuyashas name and the 'a's keep getting bigger.

Thanks. It would have been better, but the programs capabilitys aren't as advanced as my imagination. And yes, I love tactics too. It's my fave FF in my oppinion.

I'd love to tell you about FMA Toad, but seeing how I didn't see it either, I'm in the dark about it. I'll try and find a review about it for you.

Hey Tink, now I don't have to ask what anime you've seen. Good to see that the leader has seen a lot.

Sorry I haven't been posting in here, that's me being slack. I'll try to pop some more posts in. Wonko, I'll try to talk to you on AIM about nothing in paricular sometime soon as well.

I saw this anime recently in the store ninja of the north star or something. Is it good, is that the name? What is it like, etc?

Fist of the North Star. I used to watch that on TV. It's about a post apocalyptic world where one guy has become a dictator, and h ex-best friend (the hero of the story) is out to kill him. Not much on plot or visuals, or even soundtrack, it's good if you want to learn random Japanese words (whenever the hero shouts his attack there's a freeze frame and the name is listed) or are just into watching guys bodies explode from having their power points hit.

My anime collection is just getting started. All I have is Robotech volumes 1-10 (Box sets 1 and 2). I'm saving up for box set #3, and then I'll probably start buying Inuyasha.
