I want to know if it has that typical childish humour or not.

Don't watch that, it's more childish than Pokemon.

The voice she uses in her school girl persona freaks me out. As for the character development, I think I've only seen up to episode 8.

Well after you watch episodes 10-12 you'll see that some characters that appeared to have very little power over the events in the story will develop into much more. At first I didn't really like it, but I guess something had to happen.

Neon Genesis Evangelion also boasts the same thing. Lots of anime are better than Love Hina.

Winter-een-mas is the video gamers holiday. It actually started from a guy making a webcomic but alot of gamers take it rather seriously. More information here: http://www.wintereenmas.com/

That maybe so but nothing can beat the Love Hina Manga right now. The only other one that even comes close is Negima, at that's by the same guy Ken Akamatzu.

Four Maybe I will go atch beserk if i what know what time it's on, and if I can.
Five Tink maybe right, maybe I should give it anouther chance, but this is almost worse than talking about this stuff on general. I hate having my every word commented on, negativly, so i'm asking you to please lay off.

More to anime than fanservice. Love Hina's plotline and animation were bad. Drawn women in bikini's do not compensate for that.

Damnit...i wrote a post, but my computer is being a ***** and it said there was an invalid html or some crap like that, so when i went back all the stuff i wrote was erased. *sigh* well anyways...I was looking on the internet for the name of a character, since i couldnt exaclty remeber its name...ya'know how that happens sometimes...kind of nag at me. Well i found a site, which has a lot of info about a lot of animes, and profiles of the characters. It explained some of the things in Chobits, since i only have vol. 1-3, and proably wont see the rest, it was nice. Oh, and apparently Chobits is the sequal to Angelic Layer, with the inventor of the Angel Layer being the inventor of the persicoms/chobits...that really wasnt a spoiler, since it doesnt really effect the story too much....his wife affects the story more *gasp* but she wasnt in Angelic Layer, so it doesnt matter. And i saw that Berserk was mentioned here, so i went to check it out. And damn, the profile of Griffith/Femto was really long, and practically tells the whole anime, including the tragic ending...well the beginning of the ending, i assume the very end has a final fight or something. Well I hope this post gets thru, cus i aint writing it a third time.

oh, and i got flash mx and fireworks installed, but sine my computer doesnt read chinese, and even if it did i cant...i just have to remember where the options are located, or all the short cut keys.

You wouldn't believe this, but I traded in two volumes of Robotech at a video games/music/anime shop and couldn't get anything better than a copy of Soviet Strike, a shooting game for the PS One that was made by the same guys who produced Desert Strike and Jungle Strike. It was either that, old sports games (NHL games made before the addition of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, and the Atlanta Thrashers; NFL games from 1998 to 2000; a barrel full of wrestling and basketball games (two sports I don't care for); NASCAR and other racing games from before the turn of the 21st Century; "Extreme" sports that I wouldn't be caught dead playing - even in a video game; etc.). I was hoping to get trade-in value for another DVD, but I guess somebody at the store realized that I got those two volumes from there (when I traded in all of that Sega equipment).

I know they are two seperate animes, but they have one character that is the same. Not really a huge connection, just that they are somewhat related, and gives a little insight into how the persicoms were made. Kind of like Betterman and GaoGaoGar, they are parallel animes, but the only thing they seem to have in common is one person, who is only in one episode briefly, and they may just have mentioned her name.

Oh, and here is the site with the stuff I was mentioning

http://www.absoluteanime.com/chobits/ichiro.htm

Just don't go to Berserk's Griffith/Femto section if you are planning to watch the anime.

Well since doujinshi is FAN manga, and not the real thing, that hardly counts does it? It just means somewhere in Japan there was somebody who liked MGS.

Anyway, I missed the episode of Cowboy Bebop before "Bohemian Rhapsody", so can someone tell me what happened?

Isn't that the one with the chess master? I think it is. If it is, something goes wrong with the gates they use to travel between plantes, it's blamed on a hacker and every bounty hunter ois out looking for him. The crew of the Bebop find a memory card for an online chess game and Ed starts playing it. They realise that the "hacker" is an old man who designed the system 50 years ago and wrote the problem with the gates into the programming. Ed plays one game of chess with the guy for a week before finally losing.
