LOL I 've seen that web site already. If you would read that issue of Newtype and a few afterward you will see that it is nothing but a rumor. The creator of Evangalion has said he will never give the rights to Evangalion to a movie stuido to make a LA Movie. Sorry but it's true.

And I appologize if i offended any FF fans out there.

Don't you listen to people? We all said you're allowed to have your opinion, what annoyed us was the fact that you gave no backing to your statement. You just declared they all have stupid storylines and had no backing.

What a factual beatdown.
"Stay down! Just stay down! The dignity defense forces are on the way!"
Anyway, this whole live action anime thing isn't new for anyone who doesn't know. (Remember the Power Rangers?) I just finished checking out a few of the live action anime titles out there including the "Your Under Arrest: Live Action" 26er and from my sampling of that and other live action pieces, I have to say it's for "hardcore fans only." So nobody get your hopes up about NGE:LA it has the potential to be as cheesy as the Super Mario Brothers movie. On the bright side, the movie is beibg done by ADV (good) in association with our LOTR friends WETA (excellent). So we know it'll look good, but the problem that X the movie had (to much story/backround to condense properly into 90mins) may rear it's ugly head here.

YOU SUPER DUPER FAIL!!! that's announcement was from April of last year. 6 months later ADV cancled the movie! It said so in Newtype Magizine! I also know this because the anime convention i went to last year in November had the (english) Voice Atress of Asuka there as a guest and she was talking about how ADV had just cancled the Evangalion Movie. end of story.

Ok with that settled let's move on shall we? I know that Tenchi is making a bit of a comeback with epiosodes 14-16 of the OVA series and GXP, so i was wondering if they decide to make a LA Tenchi movie, would you go see it?

So much confusion, so many articles. Who should I believe?? But anyways, I am not into tenchi. If the movie makes it to blockbuster I'll give it a try.

Post me a link or somthing. So far all you've given me is your word of type. Proof is the way of life in a BBS or anywhere on the internet for that matter. Lets get some facts on the table.

I just watched Berserk, and I must say, I found it to be absolutely fantastic. Gets very disturbing at the end, like something Clive Barker would cook up.

Two thumbs up.

Has anyone noticed Adult Swim slowly taking off anime of late? It's starting to bother me.

Adult swim is anime. Most people (at least when I kept up well in here) have favorites that have been on adult swim. That's what the "helkl" it has to do with anime :3. Anyhoo thankies for clearing that up.

:D I'm totally into Azumanga Daioh now. I've only collected mangas so far though. I need the 4th one and I've got them all ^^. Even starting to name people off as what character they'd be in my head sometimes (I'd be Yomi or Tomo. Wonko wuld be Miss Kurosawa..but...a male version (Lack of male characters ^^;)). Is the anime alot like the manga? Like short strips of jokes all the way through?

Yes in fact it is. Except I believe that the excellent voice acting makes the situational and character humour even more effective. A warning, THERE IS LITTLE TO NO PLOT OR EPISODE CONTINIUITY. Each episode is it's own.

What is Bleach? I did a Google search but I got a horrendous number of hits, most of them commercials. I am assuming is an anime but I have no idea of what it is about.

Well, depending on how long ago your last post was, you may have to rejoin, but if you posted here (as in IN THIS CLUB) within two months ago, then you're probably still in. Or is it a month of no posting and you get kicked out?

Anyways, I noticed someone talking about how the only good anime on Saturdays on CN is Yu Yu Hakusho. That is not true. Remember, Full Metal Alchemist will soon be coming to the Saturday night Adult Swim, and Rurouni Kenshin and Rave Master come on Sat. nights on CN too.

6 episodes in and I still can't believe how cool the concept is of a 15 year old student becoming an Angel of Death.

I also heard about at least one other anime coming on to Saturday's dult Swim, but I don't remember the name. I'm pretty sure that they're removing InuYasha and Cowboy Bebop from their Saturday Night Lineup, though.
