I'm afraid that all I know about it came from an offhand reference in the Fooly Cooly directer's commentary. That is, it was made by the same company that did FLCL, GAINAX, and that the girls wear bunny suits.

Hmm, I havn't seen many movies, I usually get more chances to watch series'...but out of the few I've seen I'd say my favorite was Princess Mononoke (I liked it even better than I did Akira), Spirited Away was also very cool.

Wow. I just finished reading the first chapter of a manga someone pointed out to me, "Death Note". So far, 28 chapters have been released.

Summary *Spoilers, I guess*
Death Note is the story of a young high school student who decides he's going to cleanse the world of evil.This student is Yagami Raito. How does he plan to rid the world of evil you ask? By using the Death Note he found on the floor afterschool one day. This Death Note is a simple notebook that was dropped by a Shinigami (I suppose Shinigami is the same as Demon) who was bored. This Shinigami's name is Ryuuku, and he can only be seen by the Death Note's owner, Raito.

With this Death Note, all Raito has to do is write down the name of someone and visualize them in his head. He has 40 seconds to write down the cause of death, and 6 additional minutes to write down the situation. If he does not write down the cause of death within 40 seconds, the person whose name was written down will automatically die of a heart attack.

There are some drawbacks though. The instant Raito wrote the name of his first victim (A man who was holding a nursery hostage) Raito was no longer allowed to either go to Heaven or Hell. Ryuuku still hasn't said what will become of Raito when he dies, but my personal guess is that Raito too will become a Shinigami. This manga is really dark, but I find it awesome. The manga "Death Note" is PBX approved!
