I'm not involved or anything but having this topic lock would leave yet another vacuum in an already boring C&C. Kouga does have the right to have the club lock as the topic starter regardless of the current club leadership.
But after this club gets locked, we'll have new anime clubs pop up left and right just as has happened in the past. For the most part, this club has stayed on topic although lately some of the new members have become spamish, but as i've read through I see no reason another great club has to go down due to trivial personal conflict.
Just leave this club as it is, it's a part of the NG culture and be a real shame if it went down prematurely. It's one of the last places left that really stays close to the original concept.
Oh well, it's just my opinion, disregard as you feel like it Kouga, but no one really wants the club locked.
It's just like my Ex-chief advisor said: If you lock this club Kouga, a lot of people will hate you. And no other place like this can be created because of the lack of organisation of the Anime fans. But here they know what they have,and here they can talk about ANY anime (not only a specific one) so plz don't take it away.
Kouga, what will you gain when the Anime Club is locked? This club is supposed to be for Anime fans to gather and talk about Anime, not for total control. Please gain some sense and maturity and do not request a lock for this club. It will be huge hit on anime fans on Newgrounds.

Funnily enough, I don't remember seeing anything that said 'only topic creators can ask for locks'. After all, many people will ask for said blocking who don't even know the creator. And it will be carried through.
(I think the most ironic thing here is that Kouga's displaying the traits of many an anime villain - power-hunger, cowardice, empty threats, betrayal of many of those he knows. Just a thought.)

well I guess I could say that what you said is true in my opinon, so like you said before 3 years am I correct? So for now all we can do is just wait and wish that Kouga doesn't lock the club, but we do have one week that is if Wonko is willing enogh to do it, which I think he is not.....
I have an idea let koga lock the topic .And let Wonko start a new one kinda like the shadow prophets crew did.That way we can start fresh.We can still have all the forums and wkoga wont get shit for authority .So what do you guys think.

Well if the anime club got locked out of request.Like the shadow prophets crew we wont get in trouble.For there is nothing against the rules about the club,but its up to wonko to decide.

See koga, now noone here likes you anymore. Also a differece to the NG Army because not only that Enoll was still an active member, he was also respected by anyone else in the army. You aren't respected by anyone anymore.
bottom line kouga: You cant be a good leader if all you care about is power. Plus your the one that ran away. Wonko worked hard and stressed the rules of this club to get where he is. just because your the topic creator doesnt give you the right to lock it because you ARE NOT the leader. and you probably wont be as long as your in lust of power.

YES! That's correct but place spoilers on stuff like that. It was sad that it ended that way. The manga too. Takahashi almost had them get married but it never turned out that way just like how none of the Ranma characters ever grow up except Ryoga, sorta. We would have been sure he had given up on Akane and stayed with Akari had he not gotten lost and found himself at Ranma and Akane's wedding. ;)
I don't know how Rumiko writes Inuyasha but she always left things unresolved in Ranma except the situation between Ranma and his Mom. I was extremly surprised she had them finnally meet. But that was what triggered the conclusion of the series. Nodoka pushed for the marriage. And even if Ranma and Akane did admit there true feelings out loud it's pretty obvious they like eachother and it's been that way since atleast the Ice Skating tournament.

It's hard to decide wether I liked the ending she gave because unlike DBZ (It's impossible to end something like that in a satisfying way) I always pictured the manga ending with them indeed getting married. Anyway even if they did I'd say Akane would still beat Ranma up daily. :P It's in her nature. And they would constantly threaten eachother with divorce!
But atleast Takahashi gave us a clue on how it would end. Ranma would have to publically admit he loves Akane and deal with everyone of his fiancees and tell them to give up because they ruined his first attempt at marriage. :P

Kouga wants Tink, the current leader of Anime Club, to give him the same amount of power as PBX, Ranma, and myself, and Wonko is opposed to it, which implies that he wants Tink to keep Kouga at a symbolic position of authority.
