Oh, don't go acting like you're some old time member. You're still new compared to me, and Mopsicle was here before I was.

Hi Aasha, how ya been? Im gearing up for an anime fest tomarrow. Nothing but Trigun, Bebop, Evangelion, Hellsing, Inuyasha, and Love Hina all day. Gotta love a day off!!!
I'm betting ya saw all of it though... Guessing from the animes you named that you'd like slapstick comedy mixed with "Alternate universes" huh? ^_^ I have a few animes to add to your list. Tenchi Universe (Or muyo), and Video Girl Ai. I know you'd like those :D! Anyhoo, I've been good..busy though... I think I've extended my 2 week break to near a month now...or at least it will be near a month...feels like. So this fest, is it like a get-together you're having?

*Yawns, streches* Man, I just woke up. I went to sleep around 4:30 last night, morning, whatever. Yes I love slapstick, Love Hina Stylem, Comedy. And Random comedy like Puni Puni Poemy. Any show the pokes fun at itself and mentions its a cartoon repeatedly is alright by me haha. Its not a get together Im having, though thats a good idea. Im just getting a day off and need as little activity as possible. So watching Anime and relaxing after this last work week is a perfewct way to unwind. Are you going to be around more now or in the near future? Just out of curiosity.

Meh, thats nothing new. Wonko despises Aasha for the most part. So your likely to see him yell at her for any thing from her manner of typing to her ditzyness. Once again just another day in the Anime Club hehe. Whats every one here think of Kiddy Grade? Any good?

Response to Anime Club 2004-07-19 15:16:22

Wow, that must have been fun! What part? Tokyo, Osaka, Okiayama? Any place we would know?

I went over as a part of an TESL orientation program, and I stayed mostly in the Hanshin area.

No, Aasha is just trying to act like she's been here for a long time. Frankly no one in this club has been posting here for as long as I have.

TESL? Im not familier with that. Whats it all about? I dont really kmow much about the Hanshin area either. Whats it like?

Response to Anime Club 2004-07-19 15:45:25

I'm running out of posts here so I'll give as much information as I can. Hanshin is a southern region of the Japanese mainland that contains Kobe and Osaka. TESL stands for Teaching English as a Second Language. I worked with a private TESL teacher who showed me what I could expect when teaching after I graduate from university back here in Canada. Check out http://www.teachcorps.com/index.html

I'll try to answer any other questions if you have any. :)

I did. A couple days ago. And as for your "so have a few of us" comment. I was a vet when you were a n00b, so don't you try to pull that shit either.

Ah, I get it. So your going to teach english to people who immagrate to the states or another primaraly english speaking reagon like Canada. Thats cool. I can appreiate the need for such a thing. Afterall, most of my co-workers could use such classes baddly. Most immagrated from Puerto Rico or Africa and speak Swahily(Spelling) or Spanish as their native language. So their english is really bad, takes me 3 trys before I understand what their trying to tell me:P

Yes Wonko has been here forever. No-one can dispute that fact. His level makes that obvious to even n00bs. It takes forever to get 10 alone. I can only imagine how long it takes to get 12 or 15!

It takes me three months of voting to gain a level. And if I'd been voting for ccount every day since I got it, I'd be level 20 by now.

That's not quite right. When I do graduate from university I will actually live in Japan and teach English to Japanese students in a private school deticated to teaching english.

Hey Kouga! Were you here for that n00b Kintaro? If not then let me sum it up for you. Some n00b joined and mannaged to piss abolutly everyone here off. Even Redangle!!! I've never Flamed anyone before, but this kid got me so pissed I flamed him any time he showed his face!!! Wonko acualy kicked him out of the Club and site. The Mods delt with the kid soon after when he tryed to flame Wonko, and came off as infantile as it comes. He just never leared no matter what we told him!

Besides that, nothing much new.

I didn't kick him out, he quit. I was just giving him a ban from the forums to stop him from constantly creating useless accounts.

Too many. By almost everyone. He refused to listen to anyone.
