Alright then QPC mode go!

It is my opinion that people who have been members of this site from long periods of time should bring in more respect than those users who have high exp. or post levels. In fact, most people with high exp levels are mindless lemmings who just vote on what's popular, write stupid reviews, and write posts to the tune of "DBZ R GREATZ0R!!!1." So A LITTLE, just a little respect please.

Hows that?

Dammit! You are no n00b! you've been here for four years!

NOW FIGHT BACK!!!!!

It takes about 300-500 EXP to get to lvl 6. That's 1-2 months of voting. And u say u've been here 4 years....

Response to Anime Club 2004-06-21 02:25:14

I simply didn't invest as much time as I could voting than I did watching. No harm done.

Yeah great, you've had an accoutn since 2000. That doesn't stop you from being new to the forums. I've had an account since early '02, and I didn't start posting here till late '02. That didn't mean I wasn't a n00b.

I feel like I'm on trial.

I wouldn't lie in my sig if it's easy to get in the profile. BTW does anyone reconize the character in my profile pic?

I'm not saying you haven't been on NG that long, I saw your profile, I'm saying you're new to the forums.

I've been posting in the Tech TV Anime forums since 2000. So it's not like I'm BBS illiterate, plus I think just trying to adjust to a new forum may give off a scent of noobery. All I ask is that you call me Noc, not noob.

I called you n00b because I don't bother to remember usernames till I know the person is gonna be around for a while. Aasha had 1,000 posts before I bothered to learn hers.

*Heh* I haven't seen Outlaw Star for about five years now... so I'm a little rusty, actually I like that one episode when The little kid of O. Star saw a female at one of their stops and fell in love... and in the end they actually destroyed her ship, and the little kid didn't know it was her... sad, really :'(
I can't remember the little kid's name... what was it??

Jim Hawking. He was cool ^_^. The girl I think was Haruna but don't quote me on that. She was neat to.. I really liked that episode...felt alotta emotion in it. I had mixed feeling about it. I mean..he killed the girl he fell in love with and didn't know who she was....or even that he did it..

True... that episoe has a lot of subliminal meaning!
Like it states that in a relationship can die if you don't know, or hurt the other person without even knowing you're doing it intentianetly... but this episode gave that meaning in a whole diff. perspective...

is ghost in the shell any good? i have the movie but havent watched it yet. is it any good?

GitS is a "Cult Hit" so I'd rent it first. But if your a fan of futuristic sci-fi films with heavy action scenes with philisohical point in between, it's the intro to anime for you.

Personally I think it's good...but I'm into series more...It was just too short for me... It ended when it felt like it was just beginning. But it is very good what with the way they made it and stuff.

dude. i've seen plenty of anime movies. i already own the dvd because it was free. i was just wondering if it was any good... like the plot and stuff. the reason i bring this up is because i bought 2 dvds and i got GitS free(my choice). it was the only anime movie left... im wondering about the how the story line goes

Response to Anime Club 2004-06-21 04:53:33

Oh! Sorry, sorry! My mistake. I haven't watched the movie in a while, right now I'm watching the fansub of GitS: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (TV)

So? Didn't mean I bothered to remember who you were.

And I do not go after every new person, only those who do something stupid.
