I haven't seen Arc The Lad but El Hazard is alright. It was created by the creator of Tenchi Muyo. If you like his stuff then you should check this out. It has some comedy too.

has anyone else besides me noticed that almost ALL humor in animes has to do with sex? ive just noticed that kind of thing in most animes with humor. well there is humor that is not sex related but would you agree that a big load of it derives from teh horizontal hustle (i like saying that, its a cool way to refer to sex ) =P

Yeah, I've noticed that too. You see it a lot in Chobits, Love Hina, Dragonball, and any anime that involves many female characters. All their other jokes that are not about sex are very corny.

Anyhow, from what I know, 3x3 Eyes is 7 episodes long. IF I can find it I plan on watching it some time soon. I'll let you guys know how it is if I do.

I read a little about 3 X 3 Eyes and this is what I got out of it. The first season (4 episodes ) is all about true love. It has some action scenes but that's it. Three years later they came up with another season. It consisted of 3 episodes. It too talked about true love for each other, blah, blah, blah. I think this was the season TwinUzis was talking about. It is filled with many action-packed scenes filled with bloody violence and gore. If you just want to see the violence then check out part 2. If you want to get into the whole story, then check out the first season before the second. If you like 3X3, then I suggest you read all the mangas. Supposedly they are very good and better than the anime. They also explain everything that was not clear in the shows.
