I love that episode. The final duel between Spike and Vicious. I don't know if it's the best final episode. I haven't seen all the greats so I wouldn't know. And have you seen that manga of Cowboy Bebop? I think it's called Shooting Star. Anyway, the whole cast of characters are younger.

I'm not here to start any fights, and Bebop was an awesome anime series, but...The last 2 or 3 episodes blew heavy chunks.

Why? They reeked of "Crap, we ran out of money and/or just need to finish this, let's kill off or otherwise eliminate all the characters just to pull at heartstrings and pull our fans to their knees." The last fight with Spike and Vicious was very cool. The rest of both episodes was overdramatized and very forced. =/ I was extremely disappointed. I was pissed as Hell when Ed left, and I think that they would've had enough of an emotional yank on their fans just from that action alone...but then they forced just about everyone else to leave/die as well.
Ruined it, not only on a professional level but also in terms of just what they can do with the series in the future...
...which is, because of those episodes, nothing . What a terrible waste.

I also just proved that insult/comment wrong, as, again, I said that I loved the series except for those episodes. And I DID list five favorite animes when I joined...So if I do nothing but badmouth, how could I possibly have anything that's a "favorite"? The ones that are "least crappy"? Come on now. Relax.

If Wonko had shown an ounce of respect my way at all so far, Tink, I would have in returned.

Well I have no problem saying when Wonko is wrong. As a matter of fact, I'd keep my big fucking mouth shut and talk to him on messenger and explain to him why I think he is wrong in the situation. However, I do not feel he is wrong here and him and I are very close so I WILL stick with him through thick and thin. It seems that you see EVERYTHING as an attack toward you when he really is just stating something. So then you attack back at him. It is a ridiculous cycle and I am getting very tired of it.

Another thing... why is it that you seem to be a totally different person here than when I am talking to you on AIM? I think you are really great when I am talking to just you or you and Aasha. That was the cycle the first time, you're right, and I've already apologized more than once for taking his cold reminder (? whatever the word is) as an attack. But how about we talk about now?

In an ideal community, vets exist to help newbs to understand what is going on, to explain how things need to be done, and to be patient with people. I'll just say that the only people I've seen do that aren't vets. People in positions of power exist to help. But I guess I'm being too idealistic, sorry.

I stated my opinion that I didn't like the way a certain few episodes of a great anime were done. I explained why. Did I swear? Did I insult the person who said it, or his point of view? No. So why am I being lambasted for this? Is it impossible to realize that people have different points of view, and illegal for them to explain them?

Right, we came to an understanding about the "warning vs threat" thing, but I'm sure you can see that many people perceive such ways of "reminding" someone as hostility. One example I can recall off the top of my head was a person named Ayeka-chan, who left the forums after being "warned" about picture spamming, because nobody explained to her how to change "picture spamming" into "BBS signature." I tried to, but I was too late, and she'd already left the forum. A lot of potential leaves the forum for things like that. Yes, we're "noobs," but everyone is at one point. Have some patience and understanding if you want to make a community grow, all right?

Also, how is it not an insulting/attacking/offensive statement to accuse someone of doing nothing but criticizing after they merely state and explain a new opinion?

No, what you don't understand is that here, I am leader of the anime club and it is my duty to do what I think is right. Do you realize that Wonko feels that you are attacking him all the time? It is only natural for him to defend himself and he IS second in comand in this club. He deserves the same amount of respect that I do.
Now it seems to me like you are in a sense attacking me when I had no intention of attacking you. I am just letting you know some things.
