what I thought happened at the end of akira (Ive seen the move like 20 freakin times man *grabs dvd and hugs it*) was that Tetsuo and the kids and Akira formed a new universe that started over...it was Akiras univers that everyone lived in..and now the next universe will repeat itself..only with tetsuo..like looking into a mirror that is looking into another mirror ect ect.
