I peeked into the site and registered. I tried to make a long post too (to me it's long if over 4 sentences) but it said error and made me hit back to continue...but then it erased what I typed...so I pouted and came here. Who here likes Neon Genesis Evangelion. I like it, because of it's complex plot. I had to watch it 3 times to understand most of it. Though I wanted to see the movie, which left gaps in the episodes...
Aasha, ur not alone...there are other girls in NG, u should start up an NG Girls club or something, so u have an idea of who's a girl...well that's my suggestion. Speak to Mina_Sol, she's a nice person...

Okay. I've got Chobits down on my "Getting it" list (thankies Tink!). So anyway I'm just going to put down many animes I'm curious about and if anyone can tell me if they are good or not then please do! I beleive that word of mouth is better then what you'd get by looking it up on it's own site. And yes I know some of these might be old animes or just stupid questions but I don't get out much. I work alot and have no cable.
1) "X" (I saw it in a preveiw. Looks different..like slapstick/serious fighting/comedy)
2) "Hellsing" (I have heard about it being good)
3) "Gatekeepers"/"Gatekeepers 21" (The theme song to one of these got stuck in my head so I remembered the title ^_^0)
4) "Those Who Hunt Elves" (I've heard it was funny..and I assume from the title it's about hunting elves)
5) Is there a second season to "Ruin Explorers"? Or even a 4th episode?
6) Any idea when the next Tenchi Muyo season is coming exactly?

You are very welcome. I am just starting with anime myself but I can give you my best opinion. OK, I adore Love Hina, Inuyasha, and Ranma 1/2. Hellsing is really really good(also the only anime that I own.) ummm... Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Bastard. There are others. Just thinking from top of my head right now. Oh yea, I heard that Excel Saga is awesome. I am reading the manga but havn't seen the anime yet. You already know Chobits... Can't think of any more right now. I have a long list of anime that I need to watch myself.
Oh yea, In this club no you actually can't have your own character, you have to pick an anime character that exists. Pretty much all of them are open so you can have your pick.

Oh! I'm not worthy to answer such a perfect question! Ahem... The style of Japanese animation and normal american cartoons vary quite a bitfrom each other. Besides the average influence of cultures to each one... there is the fact that there is more variety in different animes then "normal" cartoons. I mean in america cartons age level range rather low... Most (not all) are comedy (though really just silliness more so then actual cleverly thought out jokes) and not much else. Anime you may choose most any age group that could find an anime that would suit them if they enjoyed anime at all. Alkador, in anime you can pick whether you enjoy deep romance, gorey fights, sex (aka hentai)... Alot of times you'll find that in anime most characters that fight either have some gun or a katana or a wakazashi... Well...that part really due to the culture I guess... Well. I hope I helped ya out there, Alkador. If you've anything more to ask let us know.

We don't go by numbers here. We go by names. So you would put (your character) of the Anime Club. Numbers are just so boring and everyone had numbers. We wanted to be different. We also like to do role playing from time to time andwe use the character tht we represent to do so, so that people don't always try to make themself have crazy super powers. You are limited to the power of your anime character.
I will have a list up sometime of the members that are here I have decided to take over this place since our "fearless wolf" Kouga, ran away with his tail between his legs. I did most of the work for this part of the club anyway. So I now call myself leader of this place and if anyone has a problem with it then go ahead and say so. We will work something out.
I'm Mihoshi then ^_^. 1st Class detective officer Mihoshi Kurimitsu at your service ^_^! Um, no powers really but she's really strong and clumsy..Oh...wait is extreme comical luck a power? She has her police gear too. A pistol (laser) and a "watch" that has all sorta different funtions...do you need a detail thingie about her or....oh wait...Is Mihoshi taken?

Kouga did none of the work and tried to take all of the credit. The original leaders were Kouga (who had diappeared) Miroku, and Inuyasha. Then tink became a leader, and kouga reappeared. Then inuyasha disappeared. Then miroku left the club. Eventually I was made a leader of the club too. I got pissed at kouga because he did nothing. So I fucked the clubs forums, and kouga ran off. Now tink is rebuilding the club.
