Just started watching "The Devil Is a Part-Timer!" on Netflix and so far I like it. The funny thing is that because of the intro and the ending credits, I almost mistaken it for a shoujo due to having the same feel as that certain shoujo series I had seen. Plus the line between shounen, shoujo, and seinen have gotten blurry over the past generations it's hard to tell apart anymore.
I mean are we expected to believe that "K-On!" is for mature audiences over "Hokuto no Ken"?
Cowboy Bebop the greatest shoujo series ever FTW!

Ike's favorite anime according to that South Park episode.

What a coincidence. I literally just started watching The Devil Is a Part-Timer two days ago. I had just finished watching Grisaia no Rakuen. I'm liking the show, too. It has a unique plot, and provides us with good humor.
I just finished and started watching "Silver Spoon" though I had read the manga for a while few years ago before dropping it because I kinda got sidetracked and couldn't remember where I left off...back to the subject in hand, I'm hoping season 2 for Part Timer will be up soon, I mean they have enough light novel materials for it by now right?
Lol, Marco Bodt is a devil!

I too can't wait for Cancer aswell.
I think I'm going to watch Welcome to the NHK and go through Ghost in the Shell SAC till the current season wraps up. I have very little interest in whats going on now. Last season had pretty good animes.

That reminds me, I'm going to screen cap something and post it tomorrow.
Seriously, something about that particular scene feels hilariously uncomfortable for some reason.

Well, it was a good run.
Spring's got a lot of good anime even if you don't want to talk about it.
This could make a really good response pic for certain topics one day. Also the guy who voiced Dragon Shiryu dies from cancer about 20 years later so in hindsight it's kind of awkward.

Alright, you're welcome.

If the heroine is anything like Seiya, she's going to become a Mary Sue. In all fairness, most of the reputation Pegasus Seiya had probably came from the fillers including the movies where he gets to be the one who saves the day. He had signs in the manga as well but still, lol.
After watching Ashita no Joe (read the manga and watched the second series from the 1980s), I have a feeling Seiya was kind of based off from Joe Yabuki.

The demos of Touhou 15.5 and Touhou 16 are coming out tomorrow at Reitaisai. I'm expecting an explosion of new fanart and doujins. It's already begun with Tan Cirno and that butterfly girl on the disc.
Oh and the obligatory watch list:
Little Witch Academia
Tsugumomo
ID-0
Dragon Ball Super
Re-Creators
Clockwork Planet (looks like ass, but the characters are good)
Hoping Kado will be a nice mid-season pickup.

Of course you can join. There's no requirements anymore. No need to ask, no approvals, no need to post a list of your favorite anime (unless you like to do that).
Just jump right in.
Started watching Eromanga Sensei, at least they're step siblings this time unlike the creator's other work. I had followed the manga few years ago but dropped it because the scans are slow and the light novels are well ahead and I don't know where I can read those anyway.

Most recent anime I watched were all Netflix originals so I dont know the level of authenticity in calling them anime but it seem legit to me. But I really enjoyed the Magi series. Started on the 3rd series, Sinbad which was convenient because it was a prequel series to the 2 that follow Aladdin.
I just finished watching chuunibyou. I think it was very good both seasons, but the first is better.
Question: What is OST
I am watching Overlord right now and I need some good slice of life, ecchi anime [maybe I wrote ecchi wrong]
I have watched [Golden Time, Chuunibyou, Toradora, Relife and some others but write everything except these four here if you have any please.
Marathoning Nichijou because I need some weapons-grade iyashikei.
Question: What is OSTOST means Original Sound Track.
But if you were asking what was the song then it's ZAQ - Sparkling Daydream.

Started watching "Girlish Numbers" and I like how the MC isn't one of those cliched nice girl type despite her typical moe styled character design. It's probably why her facial expression had been used in memes lately, other than the "not impressed" style face.
With that said, will Yae be aware of the fact that Chitose's somewhat of a cunt?

I might watch it one day, heard of it because of that "desu" meme.

This should be good.

I recently finished Akiba's Trip, which I enjoyed quite a bit. I've been watching Eromanga-Sensei and the second season of Boku no Hero Academia as they come out, though I'm going to try to resist watching the latter for a while so I can binge watch it later.
Also hi everyone!

I think it may have been Death Note. I watched that, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Baccano and a few others all around the same time when I first got into anime, and only started trying out new releases much later.
Actually I guess Yugioh would've been my first since I watched it religiously as a kid all the way through the original series and GX. I missed the boat on other huge shonen series like Dragon Ball and Naruto, and I don't think there's much point in trying them now.
Evangelion is still by far the best show, anime or not, that I've ever seen.

On that note, what was the first anime you all ever finished watching? For me it was Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt from years ago. Was sad it never got a season two (someone did take the time to do a fan based sequel over on tumblr, the graphics style is very close to the original albeit with some changes) due to in-house studio issues.
I honestly don't know, it may have been Dragonball Z and even then I might have missed few episodes. There were some series I had seen beforehand but never get to finish it since renting tapes in Cantodub isn't an easy thing. There were some series I remember watching but have no idea what those are, like the one where some kid pulls stuff out of his mouth like the way Doraemon pulls things out of his pouch.
Then there are series I did managed to look up on and find out what they were like City Hunter and the certain anime where a train flies into space, it's kind of weird. Then there's Shurato though I would have probably forgotten about it if it weren't for Saint Seiya.

I haven't seen it, but this is Galaxy Express 999, right? I've seen a lot of high praise for that from older anime fans but being from the 70's and over a hundred episodes makes it a little off-putting. I'll probably watch the two films eventually.

Yeah, I think it was that.
I mean I looked it up and it was the only anime that fits the description and could have come from the right time period my dad rented that tape somewhere in the 1990s. Only other similar anime was I think was a remake, sequel, or a spinoff in 2000s. I kinda remember it being kind of dramatic due to the theme music played when the episode ends.

I've been watching Bakuon!! again
Hilarious anime about a high school girls in a school motorcycle club. About halfway through
Also I finally watched Spirited Away, although I think it's just alright. I think I liked Howl's Moving Castle or whatever that was called.
