Reading the manga of Yozakura Quartet, how do you think it'll end? I'm predicting that Akina will tune himself with Hime coming along so they can try to do something on the other side.

DBZ Kai is almost done with the Cell Saga, but there's still plenty of episodes left. The Majin Buu Saga aired in Japan 18 months ago, so hopefully the US version is ready to premiere.

Did I mention how great the live action Rurouni Kenshin movies are? They must be he best live action anime adaptations I've seen. Gantz is the only one that's anywhere as good, but then they had that ending in the second movie that never happened.
So yeah, they change several things and there are a few things missing I would have liked, but I strongly recommend this trilogy. The choreography is so good. They should have had the Oniwaban and Aoshi in the first movie since they covered that arc. I was annoyed they swapped them out wih different characters who were apparently in the comic, but in a different part. Would have loved to have seen Hanya and also to see Aoshi carried actoss the 3 movies and given more time to develop. They did his kodachis awesomely, though. Kaoru and Yahiko also could have been a little more prominent. I was also disappointed how brief and much less serious the confrontation was between Saito and Kenshin. Still, I fucking loved these movies. For the most part, the characters are done great. Jin-e Udō was awesome. Shishio and Sojiro, too.

Anime is superior to American cartoons in terms of visuals, animation, music, story, characters, voice acting, and just about everything.

I agree that this debate is stupid. In fact, it's as stupid as the English subs vs. dubs debate. I'm part of the "IDGAF" side, because people should just choose what they like. There's no point in arguing which is better.
I know what you mean. That is why I can enjoy both Anime and Western cartoons on different levels. Just like I can enjoy a book and a movie of the same thing.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure had plenty of action this week. We saw what happened when you mix blood magic , and the undead. There was also some underwater action. I did enjoy the revisionist history in this episode.

I decided that watching 60% of a 50 episode show and then leaving it in the cold was sorta lame, so I picked Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ back up and finished it this week.
It was okay I guess. Judau and the kids were boring, plain, and often more irritating than anything (looking at you, Puru), but the Zeon stuff was good enough to keep watching. Puru 2 was pretty neat, even if I don't like the original. I felt like Haman shined more in Zeta, but she was still enjoyable in this as well. Could've done without Mashymre and Chara though.
The mobile suit designs were great, and the action was enjoyable. I really would've appreciated more variety in the music though, hearing the same stings and short themes over and over got pretty tiring after a while. The show definitely got more enjoyable towards the end, but I was never really "into it" at any point.
Oh well, on to Char's Counterattack.
