i do watch it, it was a cut from first battle in tournament, i think they cut it because the battle is too easy, still very fun to watch...

That was probably the reason, but I liked the easy battle. Not every one has to be long and drawn out.

Just got this Rin figma, I think this is the fifth figma I've bought and I have the Lucina (from Fire Emblem) re-release pre ordered. Also have this ordered which is from a series I haven't even finished watching. My collection is slowly growing beyond any acceptable amount.

The only figures I own are a Tankman and a Godzilla vs Mothra Godzilla figure.

I'm terribly afraid that if I allow myself to buy even one anime figure/model I'll quickly fall down the slippery slope, so I've stayed as far away from that stuff as possible.

Yeah I get you, every time you buy one the next gets easier to justify. I have a couple of "rules" that I stick to pretty well, it needs to be a character I like a lot, a great figure of them and a good price, which should filter out anything I'll regret buying but even so I can imagine it growing out of hand quite quickly. After a certain point on the slope you sort of stop recognizing price tags at all.

How are people even able to afford anime figurines when they cost like >$100 a piece? Seems like only people with high paying jobs will be able to afford them...

kabaneri of the iron fortress is pretty good, it has its fair share of dumb moments but the production values is what makes it worth watching. just mindless fun

You're high-balling it there, there's a lot of variance by manufactuerer but for the most part it's still quite rare for a figure to go over $100 or about 10,000 yen, and even that that's just for scale figures and not articulated "action" figures which are much cheaper.

I think it's one of those cases where if you're into it you'll make it happen no matter the cost.

The figures seem responsibly priced. Action figures are the best for playing with.

Got into reading the manga, "Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu".

It has the usual shoujo cliches as one would expect but for some reason I couldn't stop reading. With that said, on the comments section some of the readers did have issues with the first 20 chapters where the relationship came off as abusive but it doesn't seem that bad despite the love interest being a dick due to his mommy issues (and the fact that he catches the teacher he liked having sex with a student).
