Yes, Selector Infected WIXOSS. It has two seasons, it's about a cards game. I enjoyed it a lot, and got hooked since the start.

I will check that out next. Thanks.
Toonami was an One Piece marathon tonight. Not the worst way to spend a night.

What's that supposed to mean?

I imagine he means it's better than a Parasyte marathon, but not as good as new episodes.
Speaking of new, or at least different, Toonami is bringing back Samurai Champloo next week to replace Michiko & Hatchin.

Oh, you're up to the current arc in One Piece, nice. But have you watched One Piece dubbed? It nearly destroys the personality of most of the characters. Also, a One Piece marathon, that ain't a bad way to spend a night at all, but if it's dubbed it isn't the best experience. But hey, it's still One Piece.
Is Parasyte dubbed any good? I watched the whole anime subbed.

Repeats of One Piece is okay, but I miss new episodes.

Elfen Lied is bad shit and only gets worse from there. Throw on everyone's favourite anime Neon Genesis Evangelion instead of you haven't seen it.

This is true. I will have to watch it again. Thanks for the reminder.
friends of mine have reccomended it but that pushes me not to watch it...

I did enjoy this anime, but i feel as though your right when you say there is much useless violence. This seems cringy in a way so as to attract younger viewers with bad-for-no-reason material.
Any chance to find Boruto the movie with original dub and eng subs?
I don't want to watch it in korean :(
Hello thar ;)
Last night was a return to new episodes on Toonami. Samurai Champloo aired its first episode.

I was kinda surprised they got the rights to air it again after soo many years

You never know what they will do next. Just happen for new episodes after the six weeks or so of repeats.
I'm late to the party here. I only ever heard great things about Elfin so I expected real fall out from the bash on it. Glad I never got around to it no from what was said because it really wasn't my cup of tea. Even as a teen, I always though random needless nudity was just a lure for me and the rest of my demographic and really cheapen the experience for me.
A series I loved on IFC channel was Speed Grapher. Here's trailer vid below, but essentially the gist of it is a war photographer turned reported finds his way into a seedy underground sex club for the ultra- rich and elite. When there He interrupts a ritual where a "goddess" is supposed to be bestowing a man with powers and instead, the reporter gains them. The powers gained are directly tied to "what the host wants most in their heart" so plenty of diverse enemies show up through the series. Good violence, not overly sexed up (especially considering how ther series starts in an underground sex club)

And when in doubt, always Evangelion. Though, it gets a bit too sureal in a few fillery episodes. A series I liked recently which is a nice half way point between Evangelion and the Xenosaga games, is Knights of Sidonia. Think it's a netflix exclusive. Season 1 was better, but there are 2 seasons available.
Here's the opening for season 2, I found it more exciting than the official trailers:

Which one did you watch? Normal or Ultimate?
Because i've only watched Ultimate so i can't vouch for the normal anime although i've heard it's alright so i may give it a chance in the near future.
At 1/12/16 09:56 AM, Vixuzar wrote: The normal one.
I thought I'd watch it from the beginning so I could know more about it.
I recommend you watch it, The first episode was awesome.
Oh bro, you can watch Ultimate without watching the normal series, the story is pretty much the same as far as i know. Only difference is there's more violence, gothic themes and each episode is around 1 or so hours long.
I'll give the regular version a shot sometime, though.

Just curious. I have seen many fans be very disappointed when a film bombs.
