It's not awesome per se; it has its good moments, but to me it was a drag.
I watched the first season hoping there would be a song sequence in each episode like in Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch or Lil' Pri, but no such luck.

There wasn't nearly enough them playing music, and even when they were there weren't enough shots of them playing music.

And the entire series seemed to be along the lines of: One person says something unexpected. The others all pull a face and murmur something in unison. They all eat cake.

A bit predictable and not as much fun as other similar stuff like Haruhi but eh, it'll do.

So yeah, I've started watching Michiko no Hatchin, it's pretty good. set in latin america, a good ol' buddy film about the bad-ass balls to the wall escaped convict Michiko and the confused orphan Hatchin by the guys who did Samurai Champloo, pretty good. Great intro tune, cool fight scenes, lovely interesting setting, a couple of genuinely sad scenes (the beginning of the first episode is pretty heart wrenching), I'm digging dat shiiit. It's like the first episode of Cowboy Bebop over and over again.

It's just a pity that you don't see any nipples, especially given how many topless girls there are.

HAIR DOESNT JUST DRAPE ITSELF OVER THE NIPPLES GUYS

Right now I'm watching the first season of Jem to get my music fix. What does everyone else think of the series?

It's not really anime, but it was animated by Toei Animation.

Any Haruhi Suzumiya fans out here?

I should finally be starting Wolf's Rain soon.

Can anybody help me out here? I've been looking for music from the second (red jacket) Lupin series, but all I have are the first opening (I don't like the one with the vocals) closing, and "Dangerous Temptation". I tried all the stuff I saw on Galbadia Hotel and, well, that's where I got those three tracks. And I tried another site that had a whole bunch of stuff, but still no luck. If anybody has a download link they can PM me, or if anyone knows a specific album I can buy that has music that I'd recognize from the show, I'll let you do things to me. I'm gonna keep looking myself, as well.

This show is very cool, so far. I have it, but I still haven't watched the whole thing.

I finished Infinite Ryvius the other night and really enjoyed that one, it's kind of like Lord of The Flies but in a sci-fi setting, has a lot to do with a crumbling society run by young teens(Who try to survive on a deserted spaceship, no adults present to keep them in line). Might not like the premise, but trust me it's very much worth a watch.

I heard a little bit about Ryvius a long time ago, but never really got into it. Although, if it is something like Lord of The Flies, then I maybe should check it out.

On second thought, it doesn't look like it's worth it. All they're going to do is screen the DVD.
However, there is a petition for Sega and Crypton to do a Project Diva world tour. I already signed, but you can take a look at it if you want.

Not quite up to par to the original series, but it was good fun nonetheless.

For some reason, I thought that Diebuster was the slightly better series IMO, regardless of which, both were still enjoyable. I wished I still had the DVDs though, I gave the DVDs to a friend a couple years ago for his birthday.

The show would be a lot better if it didn't have the constant fan service, it makes it look immature. Also, the story get weak as it goes along. It's still entertaining though, so I consider it worth watching.

So, there was a new Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure movie 3 years ago and I only just found out. I don't know where I can see this damn movie, though. so much stuff that still isn't licensed in America.

Fuck.

In other news, the courts want people to just go ahead and pirate everything, because there are no longer any legal means to get stuff.

My understanding of that decision is that you're not able to resell anything you import if somebody else holds the license to it in America.

The first sale doctrine states that after a thing is sold to somebody, the person that sold it no longer holds any right to control what happens to it after that. I.e. 'first sale'. This decision is saying that that doesn't apply to things bought outside of the US.

If nobody holds the license to the thing to be sold in America, then it's not an issue. Import and resell to your heart's desires.

This is all NSFW mostly. Yes, she had a sex off with vagina octopus demon lady, and yes, their undergarments become weapons.

In a nutshell, it's what you get when you mix thick line animation crazy awesome antics from the west, with batshit insane fanservice crazy awesome from the east.

One is a sweet lolita, the other a blonde nympho.

They fight crime.

What really creeps me out about this is that the art style is strikingly similar to that used in Powerpuff Girls Z. It's like Bubbles and Buttercup grew up to be a pair of slutty Charlie's Angels ripoffs.

I'm still watching it anyway ;P

Most of those look horrible.
The only one that I might be interested in is Togainu no chi, because I like game of death premises.

But really, Panty and stocking? Tantei Opera Milky Holmes? This looks like a parody of the anime industry.
