I agree. My whole post was actually meant to be a joke, hence the "serious business" at the end.

See you all in a few more months (if I survive.)

One of my marines has been introducing me to some anime that I haven't watched before, one was clannad but I don't remember the names of the rest.

Perhaps. if you like lightshows.

Not really, if you like top down shooters.

No.

Mediocre bullet hell games for silly moe nerds.

The only reason anyone plays them is all the cutesy art floating around the internet, which really has fuck all to do with the games.

So, a couple days ago, I attempted to watch a few episodes of Champloo, and I saw some text in the player reading: error getting codec or something to that effect. And now, there's only audio and no video. Plus I have a Japanese sub so...

Anybody ever encounter this problem?

Contra 3, any Gradius.

At 12/26/08 10:21 PM, Mendou wrote: Oh, wait, none of you will probably even bother, my mistake.

As much as that's true, it's getting tiresome reading that every time you watch a show.

Speaking of watching shit nobody cares about, got started on Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

I remember totally hating it when I was a kid, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised. It's paced awkwardly and far from amazing, but it's a fun little show with pretty drawings and stuff going BOOM!

Man, I have way too much on my 'to watch' list to take any new suggestions for shows at the moment.

I've got to watch The Wire before I move onto any of the anime shows.

I have been wanting to try to get into the gundam series as of late. No place to start but the beginning. The trouble is I can't seem to find the original series anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know where I can find the series?

Funny that you mention that.

I just finished the show about half an hour ago and the whole NINA LOVES ANAVEL twist comes out of fucking nowhere and does shit all to affect the plot.

Way to wait till the final episode of a short show to drop a huge bombshell, morons.

Same, also school work.

Off course, I don't know who I'm trying to fool, I'm not gonna do my schoolwork, lol.

I've got to watch The Wire before I move onto any of the anime shows.

Just watched some of it the other day, it seems like an awesome show.

Sakura Media had a boxing day sale of "buy one get one 50% off", so I exploited it to as much as I could while my dad was around (so no overspending). Picked up the following:

Lupin manga
Berserk manga
Maison Ikkoku manga
GTO first semester

told my dad that I was going to watch it with him, and he was like "uhh", but I'm sure he'll love it. No Lupin, Champloo, Black Jack, Golgo, Grave of the Fireflies, Castle of Caliogstro (oirhgieugh whatever), or anythign in particular that I was looking for (kept eyeing the Sailor Moon soundtrack, but $68? shit's NOT cash).

some silly wench who worked there handed me Hunter X and was telling me it was done by the same guys who did Yu Yu Haskuso, and I was like "ohhhhh ok", and then when she finally buggered off, I put it away and ran off, thinking my dad was going to be all like "OMG YOU BUYING THAT YOU'RE SPENDING TOO MUCH AHHHHH".

all he told me was that I have enough for a couple of days. pft. PFT.

I'm just saying that it is available online for falz3333. Personally, I'd prefer renting it from Netflix.

I know what you mean. I've been sitting on Urusei Yatsura volume 14 since June and Netflix charges you whether you watch the DVDs or not. I have been watching Dominion Tank Police instantly, so I'm not completely inactive.

Still trucking through my big Gundam spree.

Started on rewatching 0079, and I decided to drop Turn A due to shitboring and fantasy bollocks.

I used the instant watch feature to watch that a while ago as well. not bad. I find it strange how that one guy pronounces the word "urine".

Is there any animes like Champloo or Afro Samurai? Those are the only hip hop/badass anime I know of, are they the only ones in existence?
