So I got out the first DVD of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

I watched it a bit out of order, with it being 1, 3, 4, 2.

It seemed pretty good when I was watching it, until I watched the second episode, which was amazing, so I now have a higher view of it, and plan on continuing the series.

However, I really do hate The Major's costume.

I think I've asked this before, but any of you like Genshiken? Personally, I liked it, and I think I got my friend interested in it today. It's a laid-back series, and pretty well animated, and the whole deconstruction and casual discussion of anime tropes is just great.

Hmm, Cowboy bebop and Samurai Champloo are a great place to start. But then again, it'd help to know what kind of shows you like. Action, comedy, romance, slice of life, tentacle rape?

Also, tetsuo is hot. I need to see the damn movie some time. A friend lent me a VHS of it years ago, but I never got around watching it, but I discoveredt the comics at the library through that.

So, I've recently watched an episode of Rurouni Kenshin for the first time in a few months. Honestly, compare it to something like Cowboy Bebop and it looks like Bleach/Naruto/Generic Shonen Anime. I mean, at times it's as if it just slows down, nothing interesting in particular happening.

Also, I hope I can pick up Samurai Champloo this weekend.
