At at least one point it had Furuhata explain whatever plan Kaiji had, and then had the narration do the exact same thing to the audience.
That was a huge waste of five minutes of show.
As far as I can tell, there is no point in the show when the narrator is actually needed.

Yeah, Restricted Rock Paper Scissors as a whole is way slow-moving despite the fast pace of the actual games.
Furuhata's also quite the loser, but at least he's not totally unlikable like Andou.
