Haven't had any in a year.

Not a huge fan, but it makes for an okay treat.

It's quite addictive, really.

I've been eating a lot of Japanese sweets lately, but only because that's what my Japanese teacher keeps giving me whenever I win these class activity things which involve being given a bunch of words and particles, and having to make a coherent sentence out of them.

It's mostly candy.

I used to go through an entire box in less than an hour.

And there's that time I spent around $30 on it at a convention.

It's hard to find around here nowadays, so I haven't be arsed to seek it out.

Well my friend just bought me a packet at a supermarket in town; they have a little Japanese food section, with things like that in it.

I think I know another place in town where I could buy some, alongside other Japanese things.

Though since those are both in town, it's not as if I'll get it often.

Still, I get Hi-chews quite often in Japanese class, and those are delicious.

The best place I can find for Japanese products is JList.com because Columbus, Ohio is too far out of the way to sell Japanese goods in brick-and-mortar locations. It's a shame, because I really wanted to try on a pair of Tabi before I bought one (I managed to guess the right size, but I might not be so lucky next time). It's hard to find anything better than Pocky in the stores around here, so I get my J-snacks online.

Where I live, you can get it at the nearest FYE in the anime anime section, along with Ramune, posters, shirts, action figures, and some kind of Japanese candy.

Well, the thing about the t shirts posters and action figures is there's not really a good selection. There's a bunch of Naruto and Inuyasha shit and some Kingdom Hearts and Advent Children stuff. That's what was there last time I looked, anyway. I think I saw a Trigun shirt or poster there, though.

I just go there for anime, anyway. I don't collect action figures, I already have plenty of pictures on my walls, and when I'm looking for cool shirts, I'm looking for band shirts.

I couldn't care less.

I just want some goddamned Ramune.

Oh, that and a store with actual anime stock is cool too. My only fix here is Blockbuster's used section.

I just decided to take a look at IGN Anime.

They gave a 9.7 to a Bleach episode, and tried to argue that Howl's Moving Castle is better than the likes of Whisper of the Heart (which was oddly included on a Miyazaki film list, despite him not directing it).

Check your local grocery store and see if they sell the soda that Goya makes. Some flavors are pretty damn good (some are disgusting, though). My favorites are the tamarind and sangria. Their strawberry flavor tastes the same as strawberry Ramune. Plus, the bottles hold more soda and it's a lot cheaper.

I don't think they make melon, though, and melon Ramune is damn good. What I really want to try is lychee flavor Ramune. I doubt I can get that at FYE, though.

Yeah, that's nice to have. I've gotten some good stuff at FYE. I once got a used box set of all 6 Crying Freeman movies for a pretty low price.

Wow.

I'm glad I never bothered visting there.

From previous experience with their non-gaming sections, I believe they should leave movie and TV reviews to other sites.

Surprisingly enough, I don't enjoy /c/ much.

4chan as a whole doesn't interest me.

I'm very section-specific.

I like /a/ and /c/ because I mindlessly collect anime-related imagery.

I go to /w/ when I need ideas for a new wallpaper.

I lurk on /d/ compulsively because I'm a sick fuck.

The only section I actually post on is /jp/, because I'm a weird bastard who buys loads of weeaboo junk.

/r9k/ is sometimes funny, but buggy beyond belief.

Hentai/alternative.

Yeah.

I don't have an alternative to that, but I just don't internet stuff like that.

Specific boards on 4chan are suprisingly useful, its anime section is decent providing you already know what you are talking about.

I've pulled an all-nighter and Im reaching the end of Planetes. For those of you who don't know its an Astronaut Sci-fi anime which focuses on the relationship between man and space and on a larger scale, global divisions between politics and nation.

So far Im finding it all pretty good. The characters have all unique personalities, the story progresses smoothly and the visuals are nice.

His sword was huge indeed. I have seen many a sword in my day, some small, some fat, and even some that were hooked, but I have never seen as big of a sword as his.
