No, but I own the first volume of the series.

I've been meaning to watch it for a while now.

I recently watched the few episodes from AIR TV.
As far as I can gather, it originated from a game.
I've watched as far as the 4th episode and thought I'd ask you on your opinion on it.
Should I carry on watching it?
Or shouldn't I?
What are your opinions on this?

Well watch it to its fullest then tell us if it was worth it :D.

I saw a few episodes over Thanksgiving Break and I became enraptured with it.

I heard that it was pretty friggin good, not only that but great fan service with a big breasted woman at the protagonists side.

Episode 1.

It starts of without explanation, but I was prepared for that.
Ah, I'm going to cut this a bit.

Overall:
This Episode takes really long to get going and it's primary function is just to showcase the other characters.
It can get a tad boring, but I watched it anyway.
From the first Episode, you have no Idea where the story is going and there are no hints to this whatsoever.

I didn't think the first episode of black lagoon and berserk were that good, look at how amazing the rest of those shows turned out.

To be honest, I agree with him.

The first episode of Black Lagoon was somewhat disappointing due to how much hype Gendo was giving the series.

And while I thought that it was pretty good, the series didn't really become great until the introduction of the ridiculous, over the top, super-characters.

And the first episode of Berserk was irritating, since I didn't know what was going on, then it went back in time, and I hear it doesn't get back to that point.

I finished berserk i'm getting the 14th volume. Since you guys warned me about the bad ending of the berserk anime it didn't infuriate me too much when the anime ended, although I was a bit sad.

It s a bit.

The first 6 Episodes are out, I'll give it a second chance and watch it up to the 4th.

If nothing interesting happens or any plot devolves, it's going in the recycle Bin.

I'm quite confused.

Puni Puni Poemi is banned in New Zealand due to something about it "promoting child abuse", even though it doesn't.

But if that's the case, then why is Gamesman allowed to sell Little Monica?

I was also surprised to find that Gamesman had a hentai section on its website.

HAHAHAHA, OH MY FUCKING GOD

Jesus, that is quite confusing indeed.

PPP does get a bit risque, but it is far from blatant paedobait and certainly didn't need to be banned.

Especially when you consider Little Monica in its "TEACH ME ABOUT MY BODY" sequence.

From what I saw in Puni Puni Poemi, it kept on referring to itself as a cartoon, and based itself around the fact that the main character knew that she had a voice actress. I don't know how that could make someone a paedophile.

Oh Black Lagoon fucking pwns man, though the first episode lacks when the series really kicks off on episode 2 (SPOILER FROM HERE) when they destroy that gunship with the torpedo it just gets better and better. Alas since Gravity took my flash drive I havent gotten past episode 10.

Well, there was a fair amount of underage nudity (albeit shown in a silly, fanservicy way as opposed to blatantly pornographic).

Still, Little Monica is still a thousand times more morally questionable and potentially offensive.

From what I saw (which was about 5-10 minutes, since I didn't find it particularly funny), the nudity seemed to be all blurred out.

Still, Little Monica is still a thousand times more morally questionable and potentially offensive.

Upon wathcing Episode 8 of AIR TV, I have to admit that it sin't that bad at all.

After Episode 4 or 5 they get the main story going, which has become quite interesting.

Are there a lot of Animes, where the few first's are boring and it slowly picks up?

I know that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya starts of slow and starts going from there, but are there others?

Just so I know what to maybe avoid, or just so I know that they won't be failures.

I suppose fma was just average until episode 6 or so when it became good, and that didn't become great till episode 14 or so. Then the first episode or two in both black lagoon and berserk(As previously discussed on this very page) were mih then come episode 2 - 4 in each and they became amazing!

Hey guys. Just finished Death Note and I must say, albeit a good manga, that it lacked in some areas.

Also, I'm trying to start reading Zombie Hunter.

I'm starting to get turned away though. They're throwing naked women in my face left and right and that makes it really hard to read in school.

At the beginning you'll be near lost as they do all the "side" characters stories first.
Annnoooooying.
The main plot however is good and it intertwines with the past.
POSSIBLE SPOILER
At Episode 6, the main story takes the lead and in Episode 7 it goes back in time (about 1000Years).
It's the mystery that keeps you gripped.
But the romance is nice too.
If you want, I'll try to explain the actual story, spoilerfree.

While we are at it, are there any Animes, Mangas that have the exact different quality?

Meaning they start of good and turn into shit.

Just so I know.

Death note, first 20 episodes are good and behond that is just mih.

Bleach, first 15 episodes are mih, episode 16 - 70 were good, episodes 71 - 108 were shit, episodes 109 - 127 were mih, episodes 128 - the current episode are shit.

And if anyone couldn't tell,"mih" is my way of saying nothing special.

Much agreed.

I blame the fact you can only make so many cheap cracks about trannies, the elderly and all manners of silly sexual content before the jokes start repeating.

I'm surprised they didn't rely more on Tsubasa Kurenai, though. The whole "cross-dressing heterosexual" joke was actually funny, especially since he was so convincing as a woman up until the end of the first story.

Evangelion would be a good example, starts out alright but by the last....13 or so episodes it turns into a massive train wreck.

Fixed, no need to thank me.

Evangelion has 13 good episodes, 13 bad episodes and ruined mech forever.

Damn near every non-Gundam/non-previously existing franchise mech series wants to be Evangelion on some level or another. Not to mention the fact silly mainstream American critics love to suck Hideaki Anno's dick.

Yeah, the ending was pretty fucking disappointing, but do realize it's clearly not conclusive and isn't the canonical ending (I'm sure if there was demand for it and Rumiko Takahashi needed the money, the show would have no doubt run longer).

Oh God, the manga's ending was worse....

Makes you somewhat appreciate the anime's anti-climatic and sudden end.

Maybe you didn't read it the first time (the more likely option is that you probably didn't care considering it being Gendo as well :P) but I ask it again. Did you guys find any flaws in Death Note that are notable? I believe that I did.

Also - just like I previously asked - has anyone here read Zombie Hunter?
