Just kidding, it's just a way to determine what the poster's personality and opinions are.

My least favourite anime are Lupin III, Cowboy Bebop, Ranma 1/2, Hellsing, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Urusei Yatsura, R.O.D, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Macross, they all suck and I would rather gouge out my eyes than watch them.

I really like Naruto, cos it has cool ninjas and stuff and I think that Sakura girl is hot :3 I also love Inuyasha cos it's all like cool and stuff and that Inuyasha has a big sword and I think the action scenes are awesome.

Oh but my favourite anime is Elfin Lied, because it's all like deep, man, it's like watching animated philosophy.

Where do I sign up?

i don't really have faves, so i'll just name some i liked.
1. Excel Saga: i like zany nonsensical shows. 2. Berserk: it was good overall, just fell apart at the end IMO.
3. Fullmetal Alchemist: it's pretty decent, and Ed's not as whiny as Shinji.
4. Paranoia Agent: this show get's weird, but it's still ok.
5. Ghost in the Shell: SAC: i admit i have fallen asleep while watching an episode, but not since. plus i like the tachikomas.

i don't like kid show types. pokemon, yu-gi-oh, beyblade, even DBZ. i don't like shows that feel that their audience is too dumb to see what's going on, thus they have to verbalize the situation. DBZ did it: i know what instant transmission means, it doesn't need explaining, especially not to the guy you're fighting. FMA did it too, but who knows alchemy?

i saw Tenchi's 1st movie around a decade ago on the sci-fi channel. didn't know what it was then, but that was the end of saturday morning cartoons for me. then some time later sci-fi stopped showing them, so i had to wait until cartoon network started toonami to see anime regularly again.

Gundam Hot Blood Fanboy Update

I DID infact get a hold of all the volumes of Crossbone Gundam. UNFORTUNATELY! Only Volume One is translated and the rest are raws so fuck... up to episode 20 of Gundam X and plan on some Victory Gundam and F91 followed by Turn A and then Z and ZZ.

MSGundam VS Zeta, I now have the ZZ Gundam and golly it's a monster in combat. Pretty awesome looking in the game too.

Oh yeah, I have G Saviour finally. I know you, HaroFreak, said it was terrible but I've yet to see it.

Aside from that, anyone want some awesome mindfuck manga? Like Fuan no Tane?

Just watched the 19th episode of Lucky Star.

They've managed to introduce a somewhat unique character into the show.

For operational security reasons, I will not state. Needless to say, it sucks. My former Battalion Sergeant Major used to say "Marines go places that suck. That's what we do."

Dude. There is a Bleach Club. It is a mystical place where you post things about Bleach. So do that there. If you wanna talk about the anime you can go to both places. Wanna talk about the game, go to the Bleach club.

And Kuro, about the Lucky Star thing. Which character's new?

Finally finished The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya....gotta say it was pretty damned good, I can see why so many people like it. I think I'm going to have to watch it again though, I don't totally get it...wish I could find a dubbed version, that'd probably help out (I'm good with reading, and normally I prefer subs, but there was just a lot of explaining going on at a fast rate that I never fully got....and I kinda didn't read some of it when thinking of the last thing said).

Also, I finished Chobits the other day as well....gotta say it was good, though nothing like I was expecting. It had a much deeper story than I thought (Though really not too deep), and was based on romance and entertaining a male audience at the same time....now, I normally don't go looking for romances, and I normally don't like romance at all, but heh this kinda warmed my heart. The ecchi was kinda fun too...I think I found a new thing to like. Though it wasn't what I'd consider a "full" comedy, when it did have something funny going on, it was pretty damn funny.

Now, to start on Death Note...or either that, try and get more knowledgeable about Haruhi....

Yeah, I was definitely wishing for more after it ended....I'd like to see how they got on with life after what happened (Not putting a spoiler XD). I felt kinda left out. It definitely was good for killing time.

**also possible spoiler zomg**
Yeah, I was hoping they'd do a bit more....though I really liked the guy character...I mean, if it wasn't for him, Chii would have been kaboomed....he did do a bit of a turning point, I guess. Then he just went away. Blah.

Mmmm, Wikipedia is saying that some Japanese newspaper announced a second season of Haruhi Suzamiya....

Dunno if I should believe it or not, but I don't think I'd complain about a second season. I liked the ending, but it only made me want more.

The series has potential, so it could be true.

On a side note: I've been coloring in some manga pages.
For practice, of course.

But I've been thinking of coloring a whole short manga, I was wondering if there's any laws I should worry about if I should share it with anybody once I'm done?

Oh, and here's a small preview of what I've been doing.

Why wouldn't you?

Do you think that the creators would put a full page advertisement in one of the biggest newspapers in Japan just for a joke?

You should obviously believe it, it was inevitable that they'd create a new season.

With the amount of popularity it has, they'd have to be insane to only do 14 episodes.

I hope it doesn't get too long though, because when a series starts to get long, it usually starts to get worse.

At 8/17/07 12:16 AM, Mendou wrote: They will air over 100 episodes, 7 films, 15 OVA's.

It really depends how many of the light novels are made.

There are currently 9 (going to be 10 soon enough) light novels, and there are 14 episodes in the first season (6 of which were from the first book), so you could probably guess that there could be 4 full seasons from this point, with each of them encompassing one book, and the episodes from the other books. Maybe 5.

But considering the light novel series is on going, with 1-3 being made each year, the series could go for any number of episodes until the novels stop.

Unless of course the show decides to take the route of making up its own situations for the episodes, at which point it could easily all turn to shit.

But I would have been happy with just the one season, the ending (though inconclusive) was still quite satisfying.

From an economic standpoint (on the creators' part), it wouldn't.

Why stop when you can potentially make lots more?

Maybe there going for the old 26 episode move.

I suppose it's possible, but it seems unlikely that they'd make a 12 episode season and stop.

I don't believe it because there is no proof that a newspaper actually said that....maybe a link to a news site or something (I mean, everything is online nowadays isn't it?) and I would believe it. It is Wikipedia after all.

Let's see if I can remember...

1. Write your 5 favourite anime's, and a sentence or two about why you like them.
2. Write the kinds of anime you like and dislike (genre's or something).
3. Write how you got into anime.

Also, this club has a few silly rules you have to follow:

No posts under 7 words.
No picture spamming (which isn't generally followed, but it's a rule nonetheless).
No talk about piracy.
No hentai (Wonko no likey).

1: higurashi no naku koro ni
Awesome anime, love the style. You get totally mindfucked at every arc, and you never have any idea what's going on. It brings an element of you don't know the limits or the rules of the world the anime is set in. As in if there really are demons who spirit people away and all that.

2: suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu
Even though this anime got so popular, I still liked it. I usually don't like anime like this, but it was just so epic. Loved the way the episodes didn't go in chronological order but still didn't reveal too much in the earlier episodes. Solid ending of the first season, not reading the manga until the second season.

3: eyeshield 21
This anime/manga is awesome, the comedy elements really shine in the "filler" episodes. I'm a football fan anyway, so even if it isn't that realistic football wise, it's a refreshing change of pace.

4: cowboy beebop
This anime is obviously one of the best ever created. Haven't met a real anime lover who didn't enjoy watching this anime.

5: eureka 7
I usually dislike giant robot anime, but this was an exception. I've watched the series over 4 times and the last episode over 10 times, I hate the fact that it's only about 50 episodes long. Just loved how you got to see how Renton progressed throughout the whole anime.

2. Write the kinds of anime you like and dislike (genre's or something).

I like most anime I watch, but there are a couple I just can't stand. I really have a hate for Lucky Star. It felt like they were just trying to milk the whole "kawaii" thing after haruhi and kick it up 3 notches. Bleach was dragonball-ized after bankai came in and I hate the episodes being aired now. Naruto is a half-decent anime, but I hate the fanbase with a passion. Need I write more?

3. Write how you got into anime.

It's embarrassing, but I got into anime off of dragonball Z off of cartoon network's toonami. Just watched it and I thought it looked cool or whatever (I was kind of young) and I just started looking up anime and everything. Can't remember the first anime I watched, though. Currently watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn and It's pretty decent so far. Not much else to say.

Do I qualify?
