Right back at you then. <_<

IT SHOULD BE ON EVERYONES WANT LIST. I Swear, it sucks you in by the 10th episode. And it's not as disappointing as the Death Note series.

But unlike the first several minutes of both, Death Note did attract my attention. So there.

And thus I am finally unbanned.

Well as I rewatch Azumanga Daioh, I'm finding that I'm enjoying the episodes I saw a while back more this time round, though that may just be because when I first saw them I was kinda wanting to dislike it due to the fact that every other series recommended to me by the person who recommended it to me sucked.

I think I've decided to quit Star Ocean EX after an irritating love... Square arose when Precis' character was introduced. It's all "Rena likes Claude and Claude likes Rena but Precis also likes Claude, and as a result completely ignores Ashton who likes Precis". And thus they keep taking random breaks in the show to go on with that.

And I just watched the newest episode of Lucky Star the other day.

The references in the show kind of annoy me, for the reason that I feel good when I actually notice them because I'm, all like "oh hey, right, that's from that", you know, the general feeling you get from understanding things, but I also feel bad about getting them in the first place; it makes me feel like I watch slightly too much.

Though I suppose most of them aren't that hard to get, and Haruhi is referenced in it all the bloody time.

I'm not surprised, since it is fun to throw in references to your own work in newer creations.

Bandai/Sunrise has their Keroro Gunso, which is a blatant PlaMo (mainly GunPla) and Mecha orgy of parodies, references and gags.

Gainax referenced Nadia once in Volume 4 of Evangelion as well as several cameos in Episode 6 of Gurren Lagann.

Mithril has hinted that they would be animating Death Note in TSR (though the future project was won over by MadHouse).

Banpresto has done crossover paradoxes with storylines from Gainax, Mithril, Bandai, Sunrise, Go Nagai and maybe even Azu Maria's SEED Club Fan-Comics.

And speaking of SEED Club...

Meh, I don't agree with yousguys opinions on FLCL. I like FLCL, but it's not my favorite.

If I had to give a straight answer of my favorite anime...

Trigun. Subbed, no doubt.

So, every Shonen Jump series ever?

Are we forgetting Inuyasha and Guyver, with the obvious difference that Guyver is superior in every way?

I have watched the dub before being able to get my hands on the original VHS tapes years afterwards, and it did seem to have been executed impressively at that time.

As a matter of fact i have not even watched Trigun subbed before....

Asides from a single episode voice casting by Akio Otsuka, you did not miss much.

Ironically, it seemed that all the 'kiddy' voices were badly done as opposed to the regular characters. Though it is most likely dubbers' fault for picking middle-aged voice actors for all kinds of roles (in before Riku (FFX) and Haruhi's old voice actors for the dubs).

And yes; I am completely alienated from FFX-2 with the last push of the horrible voice acting. Even Megumi Toyoguchi (a.k.a Miriaria "I will stab my part-time boyfriend with a knife as my defining scene" Haw and Winry "Samus Aran" Rockbell) can't save it from its faggorty-death.

I believe it's because the west does not have a large diversity when it comes to jobs in which they train their 'future' from a young age.

I mean, Tokyo has a SEIYU SCHOOL, which is one of many forms of proof that Japan is far more dedicated than any other country in terms of their entertainment and they want to do it and keep it good.

Indeed, FFX-2 was a pathetic attempt on cashing in on the popularity of FFX.

If they had a more innovative system beyond the "Dress-Sphere", then it would have been a different matter.

Whether they are treated as 'high profile celebrities' or not, it's unlikely that they are treated that way being my initial assumption as they seemed pretty plain when I visited their studio during the recording of Naruto's 100th episode back in 2004).

Japan knows that they have a big job to do for anything, and their workforce is the kind that would do it whole-heartedly unless restricted by uncontrollable forces or due to bad planning which did end in minor and major disasters alike. I mean, even their SCAFFOLDING around buildings under-construction looks beautiful when up close (will post image later).

What this guy said...

It seems Harlock was big in Quebec back in the day (the French version of the opening theme to the original series was a huge hit on Francophone radio in Canada), quite lulzy.

Which reminds me, I has sum Harlock OVAs that are begging to be watched.

Well just this week left of Summer School, so that is good. I'm getting Vandread, cus my friends like it and it seems pretty good. My computer had a...hiccup...the other day, but I really didn't mind if I lost all my stuff on there if I had to in order to fix my computer. Just makes me want to re-evaluate what I have on my +90GB storage drive and computer.

The latest Bleach chapter was interesting. It gave some information about how a hollow goes from being a normal hollow to Gillian to Adjucha. They might just become Vasto Lordes if they gain enough power as Adjuchas, but there could be some other thing they need.

Cool seeing Grimmjow in his Adjucha Form and meeting his servants.
