Yeah, I want to see like a freak too....
Gosh darnit, I want my signature to identify my character, you know, without me having to change it.
I have my enitre Revird profile (info, sig, avatar) done up as a female anime character, so does Matt.

I should really go to the Revird more.

The last time I went there they were still doing the civil war stuff, and I changed everything in my profile to Captain America.

I watched Rozen Maiden while it was unlicensed. You can obtain anime over the internet to your computer if it isn't licensed here in the states you know.

It's just better not to talk about it.

Gendo, don't tell people to go away and refuse entry just because you don't like how they post. I've told you this before, and I don't like repeating myself. Let them join, and work to improve them. And stop bashing anyone who likes anime that you don't. Most of us started out as Pokemon/DBZ/Inuyasha fans, work to get them where you are. This club isn't about elitism, it's about helping out other anime fans.

Despite a valid argument for a small selection of titles that I know is valid for actual downloading by the companies themselves, I doubt that the rest of the club in general can uphold or keep up-to-date as some of the more dedicated people such as Gendo, Dr and myself.

Gendo, don't tell people to go away and refuse entry just because you don't like how they post. I've told you this before, and I don't like repeating myself. Let them join, and work to improve them.

On the other hand, some people really are a waste of time and it can be proven by the fact they never return unlike Ak, who was persistent or stubborn enough to actually work things in his favor despite being flamed upon for over three or four months.

And stop bashing anyone who likes anime that you don't. Most of us started out as Pokemon/DBZ/Inuyasha fans, work to get them where you are. This club isn't about elitism, it's about helping out other anime fans.

In his defence, it's tough love.
I changed the same way back when I was 11 and I doubt there is a better system to steer the young towards the right direction.

And the first actual animation I watched from beginning to end while it was on TV is "Zettai Muteki RaiJinOh" when I was only 4. But damn it, I want to watch it again as it is the first 'unlisted' of the Brave Saga.

By Cable? I know, GYAO sure provides a lot of it.

It means there ought to be more people like him, though I sympathise that it cannot always be the case since some of us 'veterans' have specialised tastes and would therefore know more of one category over others.

I started out like that like... Years upon years ago.

Then I took a rather extended break from anime, and when I later returned I had the same basic taste as I have now.

I still do not see what the hell is wrong with Dragon Ball in the first place. Unless it is the typical nartuard or misguided elitist jerk who cannot read for shit and the fact that it was made over two decades ago (from the time I make this post).

That, and I cannot exactly 'ignore' the fact that it is one of the few major influences on the industry that shaped it to what it is today.

(And no, the first Maho Shojo series is NOT Sailor Moon. It is Go Nagai (Yes, Uncle Go) who made "Cutey Honey" in his early years)

There's nothing wrong with Dragon Ball/Z.

At least not with the early Dragon Ball Z episodes.

The series helped shape the industry, but with its dragged out battle scenes that never had anything happen in them, it also helped shape the industry in a bad way.

Though, I can't deny that Dragon Ball Z was awesome when I was younger, and the Saiyan Saga still kicks ass.

But pressure from Shonen Jump sales demanded more from Toriyama right after the supposed 'last' arc when Namek explodes.

Arguably, I still like those confusing battles where so much fighting happens within a short timespan.

Though, I can't deny that Dragon Ball Z was awesome when I was younger, and the Saiyan Saga still kicks ass.

It still does because I can relate to it (time-wise, unlike other jerks out there), and the whole idea all the way from the first volume to 26 (if I remember correctly is the supposed last one) is over 8000.

To the NG/A/ regulars:

I am currently compiling a small "Eye Catch" with the 'cast' for those who can provide images of how they want to appear.

Provide me with images of your liking (humannoid preferred) with special details if necessary so I can proceed to making it.

I would be drawing the characters' styling based on my own deduction and information I can get if your provide more and be specific about it.

Well there was a supreme lack of an answer for about as long as I can patiently wait.

So just in case, I may as well use that internet personification I've been using for the past while.

Though if you're going into more detail, then I'd stay true to my name and say I have black hair, black T-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.

Just to be original.

(The one on the right)

Though if I'm not included in your list of regulars, I'm gonna feel really silly.

2. Sailor Moon: Not sure why I like this one.

Elaborate. A LOT.

I couldn't turn away from a fight scene, so I watched the rest of the episode. It was the coolest thing I'd seen at the time. After that, I watched it whenever I could.

It reminds me why I got hooked onto St.Tail a long time ago, though for clearly different reasons.

Anime I can't stand: Shows with little or no obvious story line, or with things that happen randomly, like BoBo Bo BoBoBoBo (just the name is confusing). No matter how much I watch that show, I just don't understand it.

Heh. That bad are they?

Sure thing, here's an old pic of me.

This is fairly close to what I look like now, except I've got a beard now instead of the scraggly mustache and sideburns.

I'd provide a more recent photo, but both of my cameras are broken beyond the point of fixing (damned Sony products...).

Well I've decided to try a little experiment. I recently uploaded a short Inukami clip to youtube. It had 28 views, when I decided to add the tags: inukami man pile this is not lucky star gurren lagann death note naruto or bleach

I wonder what the view rate will be by tomorrow? Any guesses?

Oh, and for the Eye Catch...just make a Carrot Grace/Captain Tylor type person for me if you want. They are pretty generic looking, but are funny and friendly. Or Axel looking from KH2, cus he looks kick ass.

I've got no desire to see a bunch of people complain about what's better out of Inuyasha and Naruto.

At least now that sort've thing is more or less frowned upon.

And of course it's always depressing to see how much Starks bumped this thread.

I sign up, I get interested, I get annoyed at the faggotry and my lack of knowing what anybody's talking about, I leave.

That happened like 6 or 7 times.

I've really only had this alias. The only change was the underscore to dash because of NG. I've also just had 3 sigs. A really bad Betterman one that was too pixelated, then the one I have now without the dancing girl, and his current one. At least name switching has gone down since NG locked the names. That happened right?

Well Claymore episode 15 is out. There are starting a new arc, where the Awakened Ones begin to plot something. Plenty of blood, torture, and a creepy little girl in this one!
