Answer these questions, and entry shall be permitted.

1)List your five favorite anime, and write why you like it.

2)What got you into anime, and what kinds of anime do you like?

3)What kind of anime do you dislike.

You don't have to stop, just not as often.

Also, since someone asked me to define "women" probably due to their being a dumbass who can't conjugate, it would be the plural of "woman."

I could care less about joining the club but I felt like answering the questions anyway. I haven't seen a ton of anime but a lot of what I have seen was great.

1)List your five favorite anime, and write why you like it.

1. Berserk : probably the best and most engaging story of all the animes I've watched. It is very epic, it provokes a lot of emotions, and it doesn't hold back in the violence, sex, or profanity departments.

2. Death Note: while I hear it didn't always follow the manga, this was a masterpiece. The first third of the series is probably one of the best television show experiences ever, regardless of whether it was live action, anime, or other. Because the rest of the show was not as good (although still amazing), Death Note falls right below Berserk.

3. Naruto: while many may disagree, I think Naruto is awesome. There is so much build up which pisses a lot of people off, but the climaxes are so great I explode in my pants every time, so I can forgive the slow/meaningless episodes. Great fight scenes, story, music, and the thing that stands out for me is that every character has a very distinct personality and fighting style, and there are so many of them.

I don't really have anything that comes close to the top 3, but here are other series that I loved that I have watched/am watching: Full metal alchemist, Code Geass, Gungrave (the first half), Hunter X Hunter (the first half), Claymore, Cowboy Bebop (overrated but entertaining), Samurai Champloo, Monster (just started watching it), Yu Yu Hakusho, and some other ones that I can't think of right now.

2)What got you into anime, and what kinds of anime do you like?

The first anime I watched (besides Dragonball Z, which every little kid watched back in the day) was Naruto. Some girl introduced me to it a couple years ago and I've enjoyed a bunch of animes since then. I prefer anime with a darker atmosphere like Death Note and Berserk but there are definitely many exceptions.

3)What kind of anime do you dislike

Bleach was horrible, One Piece was horrible, Dragonball GT was (obviously) horrible. I just hate anime that loses a sense of direction after a while, or that just sucks to begin with (like those cheesy pop animes with annoying characters, like Yu-Gi Oh and stuff). I don't watch sucky animes usually though, because I read up on them before hand. I'm picky I guess. Watching a few series here and there is too much of a time sink already, I can't waste more time watching crap.

I don't know why I wrote all this ...oh yeh cuz I'm a loser =(

Seems sort of wasteful, but for what it's worth, you've got fairly good taste.

I agree with you somewhat on this, but only if you are referring to the English version. I hated One Piece until I saw the Japanese version. They always missed the celebration episodes where all the characters get drunk after kicking their enemies' asses. After getting impaled through the chest and getting almost all of the blood knocked out of him, Luffy deserves the rest.

I still hope they get better voice actors for English version.

I knew that it was probably real, though the announcers and competitors seemed kind of fake. One women went to the gym at 4:30 every morning to train, then another guy who lost was complaining about the lighting.

"Dan doubles with paper, but Kate crushes his scissors with rock!"
"And he finished with his patented Thumbs Up Scissors!"
"This match has become solely a mind game!"

Well Gurren Lagann being licensed has pissed me off, for a reason I can't talk about on the forums. If only companies would wait until AFTER the show is finished to pick a show!

Still can't get Dio saying "The World-o" out of my head...so cool. And the whole Dreamast/JoJo game didn't work out well, but whatever. The Narutimate Hero 4 should be here soon next week.

Squirrely Wrath does fit Garra well. See the part 2 for some Jiraiya x Girl Naruto....who I shall call Naruta (tm)!

Which is what made One Piece so epic, the drunken pirates.

ADV sensed a hit, snagged it early to prevent a potential bidding war. Shit like this happens. I hardly see how that's really a big deal.

Nether can my friend Jim, he's spent the past three days shouting "ZA WARUDO, TOKI WO TOMARE" at really innappropriate times.

What you should do is have him agree to a

competition and if you win he has to promise to stop doing it, or only do it at specific times.

Or throw a baseball at his head, and when it hits him say, "Where's ZA WARUDO bitch?"

We've done that on many an occasion, loads of fun actually.

Hahahaha, did that to him the other day. Had a little fistfight for the lulz, he goes to shout "ZA WARUDO" and I hit him in the gut for it.

So much for his time stop....

I was looking for maybe another anime with a cool character who can stop time, to counter ZA WARUDO......it could happen!

Well I stumbled upon The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Not my kind of movie...to many feelings, but looks like an OK anime movie.

Oh, and those Lucky Star Clerks are weird. Such a stark contrast to the art style and mood of the series. So far their scenes have been some of the funniest moments in the series.

I can't think of one.

Read the article about it in Otaku USA, looks like something I'd enjoy.

It would be funny for them to have their own adventures. Just them going to the grocery store could be Ep- ....I mean...Xtreme.

In my opinion, it's one of the ten greatest films ever made.

Clerks wasn't just a movie for me so much as a life-chaning experience. It also reminds me a lot of my day-to-day life, minus the whole wage slave/drug dealer thing.

What about Clerks II? I prefer Clerks II over the first, just cus it had more "action", a gay donkey show, a dance sequence, and Rosario Dawson shaking her lovelies. Not to mention "Porch Monkey 4 Life".

It was also the first place I heard about the Transformers movie...which I don't plan to see anytime soon. I do plan to see the Balls of Fury and Simpsons Movie though.

Clerks did have the sex with a dead person, call to order a long list of porno + 1 kids movie, and the Star Wars conversation.

Uh...so in anime...

Finally! Simon! An anime character that wears goggles that actually uses them/they have a use!

Funny, I've got the same game plan.

Balls of Fury looks totally hilarious.

That's barely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Clerks' hilarity.

Quite a shock, innit?

Useless goggle was like a mandatory character trait back in the olden days.
