So you do like some stuff that has things to do with murder or other things like that but you like them presented in a comedy type of fashion is what your saying right?
Oh God, in the right context, murder and other grim subjects can be downright hilarious, but unflinching depictions of violence and shit like that (especially anything to do with child sexual abuse, it just fucking disgusts me) is repulsive and nasty in my opinion. I could honestly never call a series that focuses on such content entertaining in the traditional sense of the word.
I like programs like the Law & Order franchise and real-life crime shows, but I'd never consider them "fun" to watch so much as intellectually stimulating.

A shame at that, since it was one of Dio's key characteristics.
Yeah, but the OVA voice actor wasn't too good, hence the "WRYYYYYYYY" would have probably been shit.
And how can you not like a badass who goes around punching people until they explode in the turn of the century?
Everyone loves Hokuto no Ken, it's law. That couldn't be further from a dark, depressing gorefest. It may be quite violent, but it's exciting and fun as well.
