Hahaha, you have to wait while I can watch the first and third discs on your list at my leisure.

I should watch one tonight.

change of plans,i have a choice i could have Akira and outlaw star foe easter, while ranma will have to wait until my birtday(which is in june) But i think i convince my mother to give me,Akira and ranma.Outlaw star can wait another month or two. I must watch ranma as soon as possible.

Moar lulz. You totally got out in a bind here. Go for Akira and Ranma, and I'm not just saying that as a whorish fan of both for the past several years.

Meh, Viz isn't all that generous with special features, especially when it comes to older series. Don't expect anything amazing.

Well, they ARE Staple shows which are worth watching at least once, though I only plan to watch a long series only during long breaks (naturally, no one in the right mind would want to force themselves to watch something during exam/research times).

I managed to find four volumes of the Mahoromatic Manga only yesterday. For only 200 HKD (roughly $23 USD), it's more than worth it.

Understatement of the century, great bargain.

Fuck yes.

I need to get off my ass and buy that manga (add it to my ever-growing list of things to buy), I read most of the series years ago and never purchased a single volume.

You just have to literally lurk moar to know where to get them. It's not hard, especially if you know where and how to ask.

Yeah...quick question, who the hell let Kouga back in? I thought at one point he was, you know, banished? And that meant that his word now carried even less weight than mine does. :/

Where the hell did you get that idea? Wonko doesn't like him and just the sight of Starks posts pisses him off, but that doesn't make him banished or anything.

Gee, let me think, vague recollections of when Wonko was still "officially" a leader, Starks showing up, doing something, and Wonko saying something along the lines of "Okay, look, I've given you way too many chances as is, you're out buddy."

I was never a fan of him, he annoyed me a fair bit and was never fun to post with.

In all honesty, why do club politics matter anymore? Whatever happened to the good old days where the leaders and authority figures actually tried to stimulate club activity? I'm a college student, I can't give this club the attention I was able to give it a few years ago. I don't mind being remaining in charge of protecting and amending club protocol (the duty Tink, who I still recognize as leader, gave me), but I'd like someone who actually can give this club their all to be in charge. Tink has a family to take care of and Wonko's in the military. This club needs fresh blood and a charismatic leader to bring this club out of the hell it's been in for a few months. In all honesty, I still watch this club, and the most exciting thing to happen since the Fall was the amending of the club rules.

I used to be drunk with power, but Wonko, the self-proclaimed "leader in absentia", is no better nowadays.

Well, at the moment we have no real individual leader, Wonko appointed the authority figures (myself, Kisuke, Dr-HyakuNinGiri, MrTrivia, HaroFreak and a few others) as sort of a ruling council who have the ability to kick disorderly members out, change up the rules, etc.

Hardly, the first 70 or so were decent, but it was all downhill from there.

Starks, personally, I think that you're trying to exploit the "position" of the club for your own gain, which is ridiculous. I also personally couldn't care less who's in charge, so long as they don't go all nazi on me.

If you really still fucking watched the club, you'd fucking know that I've been promoting more authority figures, and giving them more power, and letting them use initiative. Define how the fuck I am "drunk with power."

And as long as you behave and stick to the rules, we will be fair.

Crispen Freeman is really overrated, almost all of his characters sound the same.

He raped Kyon in the awful dub for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Wonder who is doing Kisame though, better not make him sound like some gruff middle age man.

Oh trust me, it's bound to happen.

What power? I've given up practically all status and authority for this club and yet I get yelled at for trying to care for its well-being? My duties are menial and I am nothing more than a powerless (yet unintentionally inspirational) figurehead. My inbox still gets inundated with requests from people who want to join the club.

Psycho, you and I both know that this club could use a little change. I wouldn't mind the current leadership remaining in place if Wonko and the others were more receptive to suggestions and did more to give this club a brighter future. I see nothing more than a proverbial "stay the course" mentality in place here. Where the hell is the club morale?

Me? I officially abdicated power to the commitee of authority figures. All I do is update the members list, and cast the final say in everything.

Okay...

1) Your inbox gets inundated because your name is sitting RIGHT next to the thread, dude. I'm more or less in charge of the Vampire Empire, but I'm more than willing to bet that over half of the people who want to join have a message in Gamehippy's inbox. Most people just see the title, go "Oh, I want to join," and message the thread starter instead of actually reading.

2) The name is misspelled for a reason. Either misspell it properly, or don't say it at all. :P

3) Do NOT, EVER, tell me what I know.

As to Wonko...

4) Dude, you should really reword that, the way it is now sounds like you're STILL in charge of everything.

What-the-fuck-ever. I love how he claims to have "pracically given up all power and authority." No. He abandoned the club like a little bitchbecause he was scared of doing a little fucking work. He has no goddamn power or authority.

Suggestions? We've never been given suggestions on "how to give the club a brighter future" or whatever the fuck you're on about. Why? Because we like to run a tight ship and I don't really see anyone but you complaining about that, we've no real need for improvement in structure or leadership.

I think he gets too much work especially since his voice is so distinct. Every time I hear his voice in something I'm seeing for the first time, I'm like "Stephen J. fucking Blum again, of course!"

He's a good voice actor, though.

Reminds me of how Scott McNeil was in everything back in the 90s.

Even through his thick stereotypical Jamaican and/or Hawaiian inspired accent, I still recognized him instantly as Principal Kuno, and I was actually kind of pissed to see him take over as Piccolo on DBZ. Christopher Sabat did a much better Piccolo.

He's a good voice actor, though.

Definitely agreed, SJB is very win.

Eccentric characters can occassionally make for bad choices, but I have to say the opposite was the case for Vic Mignogna.

I never really liked him (he made Edward Elric and Hikaru Ichijo annoying as Hell), but after hearing him as Mugiyama (Mezzo's best character, a hairdresser/murderous crime boss who looked like a strung-out homosexual), my opinion changed greatly.

His sing-songy tone and inability to control the volume of his voice made Mugiyama utterly hilarious.

There were a few weak voices, but overall ,for a series with such a large cast, it was good.

Kuno is very lulzy, but the "Shakespearian speech pattern" and "ignorant fuckwit" bits get old when that's the only material he has to work with.

He works best a background element that inadvertantly gets thrown into the drink as opposed to a central character.
