We do post alot normally, you just caught us on an off weekend, oh and try not to post unless it contributes somehow please.
As for the RP I vote no, alot of clubs that do RPs start going downhill and since this is I think the biggest club on NG it would suck if it ended.
Oh,sry about that. and the bad thing is im not aloud on on the weekends.

Today I realized something, you always find good things in unexpected places. I stopped by the local flea market today armed with a mere $25 and I managed to purchase the 8th volume of Lupin The 3rd (with a super-alwesome Jigen mini-figure) and the coolest thing I've purchased in awhile, Kubrick: Neon Genesis Evangelion Box Set J.
The mini-Gendo was well-worth the $15 I paid alone...

Very nice finds, I've yet to see all of Evangelion seeing as my I only watched the first three episodes before my dad lent his cds of it to a friend, 5 years ago. I did get into watching Black Jack just the other day though and I like it quite a bit.

I read the manga in the mid 90's and loved it. Black Jack rules.
Hi guys. I recently went to Yorkdale today and bought a 2007 InuYasha calendar at a calendar store and Soul Calibur III at EB Games. I love both the game and the calendar but I haven't decided where to hang up the calendar yet.

SC III was an awesome game, as for the calendar, I say hang it in a prominent place and display it proudly. Now I'm pondering if I should buy a 2007 calendar or a 2001 calendar (seeing as it has the same date structure as '07) for nostalgia purposes. I know it sounds like a stupid thing to think about, but I'm really torn about it. I also must figure out what sort of calendar to get...

Absolutely. A rogue doctor who can apply complicated life-saving surgery on himself in the middle of nowhere deserves the title of "badass".

Good gets. I loved Soul Calibur II so I hope you can tell me some good things about SC III. With the calendar, I'd say over a bookshelf or whatever you house your manga/dvds/video games in. I have one over my Shonen Jump collection, goes quite well.
I'll get around to updating the Members list[pruning main wise]I'm just now getting into the 13th episode of Bleach. Brewtality and Chachibenji [both old members who main the AAHC boards, good friends]talked me into it. Oh god, why have I not been keeping up with this show. The animation is mind blowing and it's a fantastic story line. Grand characters and development and the soundtrack brings tears to is astounding beauty.

Yeah, but his cyborg nurse/child bride is a little freaky. By the way, apparently Black Jack and his assistant Pinoko made appearances in Astro Boy.
I should be seeing the last few episodes of Gantz this week, and I just know that I will absolutely despise the ending since I read about what happens. Then I'm going to check out the first volume of Samurai Seven.
Does anybody here know if the Gantz manga is complete? I'd like to collect the whole series.

Nope, and it's sadly unavailable in an official English translation thus far.

Yamamoto redid her well (referring to attachment).

I'm not suprised, given how often Tezuka's works have cameos to "bring his productions under one universe". He even goes as far as to keeping their names, jobs, etc... the same. At worst would be similar designs for people with similar roles (e.g. Rich Politician and Powerful Mafia Boss).

Yeah, Tezuka's pretty guilty of doing stuff like that. I also find Katsuhiro Otomo does this alot too.
Example:
Colonel Shikishima = James Edward Steam

redid ? hmmm thought she didn't look like a tezuka character , his girl are never that 'cute'
like astro boy's sister urban .btw what is up with that in the version i red she suddenly appears along with astro boy's new mon and dad . They cut out a part what happened ...?
I've decided it's time for me to move on so I'm changing my alias from Inuyasha to what you see now. My love for the character and series is still there but after seeing the ending to the series again it killed me some more inside. Inuyasha will always have a place in my heart but it has faded so.
If you are a fan of Bleach you will recognize the alias. Since it doesn't really tie with a character I feel a bit more free, plus it has a nice ring to it.
You can still call me Inuyasha, Master_Inuyasha or Inny, I'll respond to all of those still.
Thus, I'm also changing my character: Ishida Uryuu
1 - Bleach
2 - G Gundam
3 - Nightwalker
4 - Descendants of Darkness
5 - Inuyasha
6 - Ghost in the Shell
7 - Fullmetal Alchemist
8 - Gundam
9 - Naruto
10 - Love Hina

Excuse me Kisuke, I'm Ishida Uryuu. I changed my character from Kaworu Nagisa to Ishida Uryuu in August back when the Anime Club started using the top 10 favourite anime rule. Can you pick another character?

Ok guys we have two days until the voting ends to see if we have a RP and remeber we have four or five votes for yes and one vote no. So remember we will make a new thread if we approve the RP and after that we will decide the mane for it. Also you can only vote once.
Sig made by, Bruute.

Yamamoto Kenji redrew selected chapters of Black Jack, and they are good remakes; keeping the original stories and endings intact unlike the 2003 TV series.

Time for my Nekocon Report!!!!
FRIDAY:
Well my bro, his friend, and I all woke up at around 5:30 a.m. Friday morning in order to leave by 6:00. We got the van all packed and left. After a 3 1/2 hour drive we arrived at the Hamton Roads Convention center in Hamton, VA., USA.
We all went inside and basicly went our own ways. I of course went to the pre-reg line to get my badge. After a few minutes of waiting, one of the dealers from "Amine Yes" from the dealers' room came out an announced that they needed help at their booth. Their insentive was a very nice one.
1. For ever hour of work you get a $10 discount off anything they have.
2. Work hard for 6 hours and they will pay for your pre-reg for next year's con!
Needless to say I offered my help then and there! After another 30 minutes i finnaly got my badge and my "swag bag full of goodies" and went back out to my van to change into my Keitaro costume! After changing i went back to the dealer's room and made my way to Anime Yes's booth to get accuianted and fimiliar with their surroundings. I got to look around for a little while at all the stuff at the other dealers' tables before anyone else did! biggrin.gif
Anyway 10:00 a.m. finnaly came and the doors opened for the dealers' room. For the next 4 hours i helped people find a certian manga, or anime dvds, and also made sure noone tried to shoplift. It felt nice to help find something someone was looking for. I had a great time at Anime Yes that day!
4 hours equled to a $40 discount!!! so i got Stellvia Volume 5 and the Love Hina Novel!!!! and still had about $2 left to go toward something!
After Anime Yes i walked a little more around the Dealers' room seeing what i could buy. I eventually bought a 5 piece Negima Figureine set with Nodoka, Yue, Ako, Kanoka, and Asuna in it for $24 (some assimbly required). (I'll have pics of what i bought later)
After a few more minutes of looking around i finnaly made my way out of the dealers' room and to Con. ops to register as a Gopher (vollulteer). I got my Gopher badge and was off to help the Con staff where ever needed!
I finnaly made my way to the video rooms where i watched the 1st and 2nd episodes of "Battle Angel." After that was over i went and watched the 3rd episode of Air Gear.
Basicly for the next hour i just walked around the con center, occationally going back intot he dealers' room to see what i could see. I ended up trying to buy a Negima wallscroll, but that's when i realized THAT MY BLACK BAG WAS GONE! the bag says "Anime, Crack is cheeper" on it. It had my CD player, all my CD's, some of my money, and 2 of my Negima manga in it. so i spent the next hour and a half looking for the darn thing, cheeking lost and found and ops. I finnally had to get the head of security to help me track it down. In this time i missed watching the AMV contest, Trinity Blood 5-7, and Comic Party Revolution 6-10! I finnaly got my bag back and was finnaly able to buy that Negima wallscroll!
After all that i went back to my van and put most of my bags away, and left my manga out there also.
After a little while longer i made my way back to the video rooms where i watched episodes 1-3 of "The Mysterious Cities of Gold." this was a treat for me becasue i remember watching it when it came on tv when i was a little kid! we're talking 4 or 5 years old here!
At this time the registration desk was running low on the swag bags so i went to ops to help stuff as many bags as possible. for the next 30 minutes i did nohting but drag a cart full of boxes full of swag bags back a forth from ops to the reg desk. After all of that i finanly made my way back to the video rooms where i watched the final 2 epsidoes (that they were showing) of Gantz!
After about 8 to 10 hours I was finnaly releaved of my Gophering duties. After which I went to go watch Elfen Lied, but they had a last minute video change, instead i got to watch another anime with some underage nudity in it. (i can't rmemeber the name I'll post it as soon a i find out wht the name is)
It was now goin on 2:00 a.m. and the con center was closing down for the night. And since i had volunteered for 8 hours i got free crash space at the Embacy Sweets next door! in fact I GOT A BED ALL TO MYSELF!!!!
SATURDAY:
7:30 a.m. i woke up and made my way back out to my van to shave (battery powered shaver) and have a few of my otmeal cakes for breakfest. I then went back inside the con center and watched the last bit of the Helsing Unlimited Movie. After it was over i want back to the dealers' room back to Anime Yes to help work for the day again. 10:00 a.m. came and the doors opened up once again.
After 2 hours i had to leave for a little while so i could goto an autograph session with Tiffany Grant (voice of Auska from Evangalion and Kuriko from Maburaho) and Luci Christian (voice of Chidori from Full Metal Panic and ASUNA FROM NEGIMA!)
After the autograph session i went back to Anime Yes in the dealers' room and worked for another hour or so and earned another $30 discount which i put toward Stellvia volume 4!
At this time they were about to rerun the AMV contest so my bro, his friend, and I quickly made our way to the main events room to watch it! I got to watch it all the way through the comedy section, but i had to leave early so i could make it to the video rooms to watch episodes 11-14 of Negima! dubbed though......
After Negima went off i registered as a Gopher again and made my way back to the video's rooms to cheek people's badges and stuff, I stayed outside of video room #2 becasue Kadocha episodes 30-33 were being shown.
After Kadocha i was releaved of badge cheekeing duties and got time to goto the dealers' room once again. This time i got to buy some more stuff. I got a Nodoka poster (which took me about and hour to find!) and a Nodoka Key Chain! Shortly afterward though the dealers' room had to close down for the day.
I then made my way back to the video rooms where I met this guy watching anime on his laptop. So i joined him. We watched Love Hina Episodes 1 and 2, FMP episode 1, and part of Syzumia Haruhi no Yuutu episode 2. Finnaly the "Fan Perody" videos were shown in video room 3. God this thing was halaious! With a funny Evangalion fan perody which had Gendo out to be a pimp and Auska with an Arnold S. deep voiced accent, this thing had me in stiches for a good long while.
Finally 2:00 a.m. rolled around. i cheeked out of my gophering and since i had gone more than 8 hours again i got free crash space at the hotel again! AND ONCE AGAIN I GOT A BED ALL TO MYSELF!!!... or rather a couch becasue the guy in the next bed was a LOUD snoreer and every once in a while would let out a tremendous cough. so i went into the next room and slept on the couch. this was a good nights sleep.
SUNDAY!:
i woke up at around 8:00 a.m. and went back out to my van to once agian shave and eat "breakfest." after which i went back into the con center were i watched the last bit of Risky Safty.
After that i went to the Negima panel that was being held by Greg Ayres and a couple of the other voice actors from Negima, we got to watch episode 1 of Negima DVD version and had a lovly chat Q & A with the voice actors, after which i got their autographs on my black bag.
After which i then made my way back to the dealers' room where i did my "reduced price" buying. I used my last bit of discount with Anime Yes and bought Stellvia volume 6 to finally complete the Stellvia series! I then went on to buy THE 1ST NEGIMA PS2 GAME!!! with a Drama CD bounus pack for $50!!!!! That was my bigest buy! I then went on and bought a Negima figuremate in a box, i didn't know who it was so i took and chance and bough it anyway for about $3. It turned out to be Makie though. I was so close to getting the Nodoka one sad.gif and that would be my finaly purchase at the con becasue the dealers' room closed shortly afterward. I then made my way to Artist alley where i got a "The World of Narue" freebie poster! and ordered a custom made Shinobu button.
After all this my brother, his friend, and I made out way to the video rooms to watch episodes 1-4 of Voltron, during which my bro went and quickly bought a Sailor Jupiter figureine for my niece. (wanted to get Chibi-moon but they were all sold out)
After Voltron we went finnaly went to the Closing ceremonies where we got to talk with some of the voice actors and staff of Nekocon. Unfortunatly somewhere between the time i was in the dealers' room and the closing ceremonies i lost my beloved Shinobu lepel pen. I had that thing for 2 1/2 years! they don't make them anymore and a replacment is very rare to find.
After looking for an hour for it i had to leave. So my bro, his friend, and I said our goodbyes and left Nekocon 9 for the year.
All in all, with the exception of losing my Shinobu pen, This was the best con i have been to yet! My next Anime con blog will come in May of next year with Animzement! please look forward to it!
Things bought total:
Negima (anime) wallscroll
Nodoka (manga) Poster
5 Negima figureine set
Nodoka Keychain
1st Negima PS2 game with Drama CD bounus set
Love Hina Novel
Stellvia volumes 4-6
I got all but 1 things that were on my list and then some becasue if the discount i got for my Stellvia DVDs!
