Otaku means liking something to the point of it being unhealthy, but around here it's pretty much used as a person who REALLY likes anime. I'm an otaku, and yes it's pretty much to the point of being unhealthy.

there was about 41k people at Anime Expo 2006 so kind of base it off that (mabey somewhere between 8mill and mabey 12mill)

I'm wondering how many anime styled games are there I'm thinking there is around 50 in the US (most likely more) but there are most likely so many more.

thats fine it was a guess and the only thing I actually had to go off of was with the amount of fans. It's cool I understand that there are way more than I'm thinking it's just from what I could find and a quick guess thats what I came up with. Also that is a bgi number considering that I have only seen about 50 different anime on the basic cable I have. Also do most anime that come out go to dvd. (basicly in any amount of anime produced you can probably get around 90% on DVD)

I need to really see every episode of EVA and not just like the first and last 3. (EVA like thing on the TV reminded me)

I almost geeked out when Raille started chanting praises to the Lord of Nightmares, and it paralyzed Dark Star. That kicked ass. And I STILL say that Volfield has more than enough power to take out fucking Gorun Nova, but that's just my opinion.
