It's bettter than when I go on rampages and flame the living shit ot of everyone. Plus I kept this club safe from people who would try to do that to us. When this club had its own forums I policed those and kept them a lot safe than you ever did. At least I'm honest. I don't think you want to be leader because you care about this club, I think you want to be leader just to feel like you have power over people. I've abandoned parts of my real life to keep this clun going.

Seriously...

I thought Paranoia Agent was ok..but not very interesting. I got what Lil' Slugger was pretty early on, so the rest wasn't all that interesting. I liked the part when the space control room people were watching as the shuttle blew up, then Slugger just opens the door to the room....funny. The last two eps of Cowboy Bebop and two ok episodes of Trigun were fine...I stopped watching after the FLCL marathon....but I would have prefered if they showed some Outlaw Star or other some other anime that they don't show all the time.

Anyone heard of an anime called Sorcerer on the Rocks or Sorcerer Hunter? It's a 2 episode series that's supposedly pretty good.

I was partially distracted from the AS shows because I was translating this:
(With the new translation rules there is a small error in the message, though it would have been an error even with the old rules if ya think about it)

I guess someone decided to change the list a little bit...removing people and changing some color codes around.

Finding old, obscure animes is tough, especially if you want them for free.

Ok, I'm pretty confused about all of this. I don't really know who the leader of the club is and all the arguing that seems to be going on in this thread isn't really necessary (although I am new here so I'm most likely wrong). I mean, is a leader even needed in a club? I would think that most people here want to talk about anime, not bicker over who is leader and whatnot.

Yeah, I know of both of them. My cousin has the whole series of Sorceror Hunters (which is like 20-something episodes) and I've seen a trailer of Sorceror on the Rocks. I barely remember it, though.

The fact that anyone can edit the memberlist and remain anonymous does kind of annoy me... When I finally get the new MediaWiki site ready and perfected, we'll have greater control over who can edit the memberlist by using the "semi-protect" feature.

I finally got subtitles embedded into my avi files! It sure was a pain...since most of the time they looked embedded...but no...they really werent. Now i just need to find a way to get them with sound in the same process...since using 3 programs is annoying and takes way to long. Curse those old animes that are saved as OGM/MKV files!! And with AAC audio ta boot!!

Well i just go the first episode of Fate-Stay Night, so i need to watch it to see if I should get the rest. And Sorceror Hunter wasnt too bad to get, but that Sorcerer on the Rocks is a bitch.

These embedded subs look cooler than the large white ones anyways (though that may cause problems when image size and quality is reduced...

I know that Wonko has put a lot of work in this club. But this is what I don't like about him. Remember when he changed everyone's names to Smurf names in the original anime club forums? You know, The forums we had before Tink's Anime Club forums. When he changed everyone's names to Smurf names, He made me Cook Smurf. Why the hell did he make me Cook Smurf? You say that Wonko is bitching because he cares. I know he cares but I just find his bitching annoying.

If you want, I can teach you how to encode hardsubs into the AVI container... I'd be glad to do so.

Nah, the AlltoAvi is working pretty good, I just need to mess around with it to get the audio to work. Might be with the japanese and the audio track number, like 0, -1, -2 etc. I got the Slayers episodes that i wanted (Slayers Next and Try last episodes) with subtitles and sound. I might start doing Those Who Hunt Elves...cus the Sorceror Hunters will take a while to get.

(You should be using VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod with AviSynth...)

You're passing up a valuable opportunity to learn from a genuine fansub encoder...
